In the shadowy alleys, numerous cultists sporting mechanical cyclops patrolled, scheming to trade the abducted children with the deranged clone Krank. A peculiarly shaped loudspeaker blared the eccentric doctrines of the mechanical cult, falling on the indifferent ears of the hastening pedestrians engrossed in navigating the challenges of this dystopian world. Amidst the bleak scene, a young orphan girl, her ebony curls framing her face, stealthily observed a bald man before her. Her sharp, calculating eyes were poised to seize any banknotes that might slip from his pocket. As her hand reached for the money, the bald man's neck twisted unnaturally, and he emitted a child-like scream.
"Ahh! Do you believe you can outwit our third eye? We are keener than you... and mightier..."
He clutched the girl's collar tightly, his fingers gripping her neck. Undeterred, the girl wriggled and retorted sarcastically,
"Really... it seems effective only against kids..."
The bald figure roared and hoisted the girl, unwilling to endure any affront to his cult's reputation. In a sudden twist of fate, a pot struck his head, causing him to stumble into the nearby river.
"...Ahem..."
Gasping, the girl glanced at the banknotes now drifting in the water. She felt a mix of gratitude and skepticism,
"Thanks, but I reckon I could've handled him myself..."
