Appearance: Walnut is a rather pudgy brown squirrel with a big white-furred stomach. His general build is wide and stocky, unlike most other squirrels, making him appear bigger than he already is. He's got incredibly fluffy and soft fur, which he's very proud of and maintains meticulously. To stay presentable, he always carries a small brush for his fur. He has big bright eyes that shimmer with innocence. He has a habit of scratching his ears when he's nervous or uncomfortable.

Personality: Wally Wicker, nicknamed Walnut, is a fun-loving and outgoing squirrel who enjoys the company of others. He's always up for a good time with his friends. Despite often getting teased by his dormmates, mainly about his forgetfulness and his eating habits, Walnut has a positive attitude and doesn't let it get him down too much. He has a big appetite, and he's always on the lookout for his next meal, which sometimes leads to him hoarding food in his dorm room. Walnut is not particularly clever or resourceful; though he's known to find ways to sneak extra snacks into his room without getting caught. Despite his extra padding, he does like to keep active by playing football and is not as lazy as he might appear, he just likes eating a lot. Walnut is a bit of a slob when it comes to keeping his dorm room clean, but he does have a system for organization; everything in his room has its place, even if he's the only one who can tell. He's also not very good at keeping track of time, often showing up late to events or forgetting about important appointments. Despite his messy tendencies, he takes great care of his personal hygiene, especially maintaining his fur, always staying well-groomed.

Backstory: Wally, better known as Walnut, was born into a big squirrel family in the heart of the forest. From a young age, he was always the one getting into trouble and seeking out fun adventures. His gullible nature made him susceptible to being roped into mischief without him even realizing it.

As he grew older and it was time for him to venture out alone, Walnut left his family and headed towards the nearby university. He had always been curious about the world outside of the forest, and college seemed like the perfect opportunity to experience it all. He was excited to meet new friends and have new experiences.

However, college life was not like exactly what Walnut had imagined. His new dormmates often made fun of him, seeing the big, gentle squirrel as an easy target. But Walnut didn't let their teasing bother him too much. He knew who he was and was mostly at peace with that. As for his eating habits, well, he couldn't help it, he loved food, and he never missed a chance to try something new.

Overall, despite him being teased, his gentle yet energetic demeanor made him a well-liked member of the dorm, provided he kept his hands off of the food of others.
