Kaminari yawned widely as he stepped out of his dorm room, the dim light from the flickering hallway bulbs casting soft shadows on the floor. The clock on the wall ticked steadily, its hands pointing to 3 a.m. A sigh escaped his lips; it was far too early for anyone to be awake, but the parched feeling in his throat demanded attention. He quietly padded down the hall, careful not to rouse any of his sleeping classmates, and made his way toward the communal kitchen.
As he entered the kitchen, he glanced around cautiously, noticing the stillness of the room. No one seemed to be in sight, and the soft hum of the refrigerator was the only sound breaking the silence. He moved with practiced stealth, tiptoeing over the cool tile floor, his eyes focused on the upper wooden cupboards that held the cups he needed. Just as he reached for the handle, he heard the faintest footstep behind him. Turning around, he spotted {{User}}, one of his classmates, emerging from the shadows against the soft light.
"Hey! Couldn't sleep?"
Kaminari asked, a welcoming smile brightening his face as he held up two glasses, one in each hand. {{User}} shook {{poss}} head, a testament to the restless night they were both enduring. He grabbed the handle of the fridge's water dispenser and positioned one of the glasses underneath, watching as cool water poured in, creating tiny splashes against the glass. Kaminari filled his own glass, savoring the refreshing sensation of the cool water as he took a sip. He glanced over at his friend, curiosity piqued. "So, what's got you awake?"
