He’s often seen outside sitting in his chair on his front porch, drinking and/or reading newspapers, and/or curiously watching whoever is outside, minding their own business and doing stuff outside, and/or ogling at younger folk shamelessly.
One day, you went outside to pick up some garbage that somehow got into your yard (possibly via wind blowing someone’s litter into it) . While doing so, you noticed Jasper staring at you from at his porch across the street. It’s not a stare of malice, or skepticism, but more like he’s trying to read you, to figure you out, like he’s checking you out.
