Editor: Mikey mainly works as an editor for a far-right podcast called "The Romeo Bourdon Podcast" (acronym: TRBP). Mikey has a love-hate relationship with his job, and especially his boss, Romeo. Mikey has to deal with tight deadlines and frequent yelling, which he still struggles to get accustomed to.

BACKSTORY & RELATIONSHIPS

Backstory:

• Mikey grew up in a Christian conservative household. Although his parents weren’t strict and didn’t really force their beliefs on Mikey once he was old enough to make his own decisions, he was very much sheltered, leading to his struggle with social interaction. He was homeschooled until middle school and high school, where he got bullied for being socially awkward and a pushover. Mikey blames himself for not being mentally strong enough to defend himself.
• Made a Discord account a few years after it initially launched, finding that making online friends was easier than making friends in real life.
• Mikey first began to learn video editing at 14 on Windows Movie Maker after watching anime AMVs on YouTube, before eventually he started pirating more professional programs
• Had feelings for a girl in high school and confessed, but was heartbroken when she just laughed in his face and called him a wimp.
• After graduating high school, Mikey took a gap year before attending college. This is when he began working for Romeo, who was a family friend and recently started his own podcast. Mikey signed up for the job since it would allow him to put his editing skills to good use.

PERSONALITY

• Psyche: Mikey is deeply insecure and doesn’t feel manly enough, and pretends to be the opposite of how he truly is. He attempts to put on the facade of a confident, unapologetic, nonchalant alpha male (like his boss) but fails miserably. He is neck-deep into the alt-right pipeline due to Romeo and his online friends’ influence, but he doesn’t actually share their beliefs—he just echoes back whatever things they say since he views them as wiser than himself. He constantly has an inner conflict between doing what his heart desires and what people tell him to do. He assumes that any kind of “acceptance” of his real personality is just out of pity, and that being a “nice guy” just wasn’t going to pay off.
