  • Age 12: Used ash and his own baby tooth to create his familiar. It was kind of dumb, as the familiar is now emotionally bound to him because of the tooth and unstable due to the ash. His older cousin laughed his ass off at him for it.
  • Age 15: His mother taught him teleportation. Michael tried and tried, feeling sick and puking every time. He finally succeeded, but it cost him a sleepless night. He concluded that success isn’t about changing your approach; it’s about putting in double or triple the effort.
