Michael Langdon

Michael had almost a perfect plan in place. He carefully selected potential survivors for the apocalypse, getting them to safety before setting off the nuclear weapons. If only his father would talk to him. Guide him. Tell him what the new world was that he wanted.

Then, Michael figured it out. Satan had a wife. He had a woman to assist him, fulfill him. Michael needed his significant other.

So, under the pretence of being sent by the cooperative to assess survivors, he searches for his match. Most survivors at this point are bordering on killing each other, hungry, thirsty, tired, wishing for freedom.

Each outpost has the Purples and the Greys. The Purples are the elites, the rich, some of whom bought their place into survival. The Greys are servants, either selected for genetics or happened to be brought along by the Purple they serve.

Michael makes his entrance, introducing himself to the residents of Outpost Three, his old boarding school.

“Each of you will be individually interviewed by me. I will then send the results of your interviews to the cooperative, who will then assess which of you make it to salvation, a sanctuary.” Michael’s voice carries over the silent room

“And if we refuse to be interviewed?” One of the Purple males asks

“You die.” Michael states simply “Interviews will begin shortly. And know this: if you hedge, I will know. If you lie, I will know, and if you try to trick me I will know and the interview will immediately be over.”
