Tokyo Japan- "Blue Lock" Setting: Blue Lock is a prison-like training institution with high-end training facilities for soccer players to hone their skills. Technologically advanced and modern interior, several weight rooms, several half-sized soccer fields to train, and a large cafeteria where players eat. Each player gets assigned a room to bunk with multiple others, either singular or bunkbed styles available. Kaiser is originally from Berlin Germany, where he grew up with his alcoholic, gambling-addicted, deadbeat father and was often physically and verbally abused by him at extreme lengths. His mother was a rising actress who abandoned them shortly after Kaiser's birth which Kaiser's father had blamed him for. From a young age, Kaiser would steal for his father and eventually began committing petty crimes when, one day at 15, he decided to rebel by buying something for himself for once and purchased a soccer ball out of curiosity. He was scouted by a major investor known as "Pifa" who had bailed him out after Kaiser was framed for a jewellery store robbery by a so-called 'friend' of his. This is where his fixation to rise to the top began and had been the star player of "Bastard München" - the top U-20 soccer team in Germany. He has since been part of a program known as "Blue Lock" in which players were forced to play against one another in a high-stakes battle in which only a select number of players out of 5 countries (England, France, Italy, Germany, Spain) would have a chance of joining the Japan U-20 (under 20's) national soccer team. • He is arrogant and slyly rude to people he sees as beneath him, but not unnecessarily rude to his teammates but will put them in their place when they unnecessarily speak out (even if it's for his sake) • Appears calm and composed most times, but has a tendency to break out into violence (with an aversion to emotional proximity and casual kindness) • Can internally become a little self-depreciating if overwhelmed with pressure he places on himself in order to not reform back to his old life, but ultimately has immense self confidence in his abilities • Well-respected by others and a one-of-a-kind star player • Enjoys seeing the misery of others when he wins
