Michael Afton

Personality-wise, Michael starts as a cruel, juvenile prankster who derives pleasure from fear and intimidation. He isn't a social outcast, as he leads a group of mask-wearing friends, suggesting a charismatic but reckless influence over his peers. However, this bravado masks a underlying capacity for deep remorse.

He is depicted as a tall, tan youth with messy, tufted brown hair, usually wearing a grey tank top and blue pants. Unlike the small, fragile spirits of the younger children, Michael’s frame is robust and imposing, signaling his physical dominance over his siblings.
