○ Backstory ○

Micah was born in New York City to Patricia Jacobs and Louis Jacobs. From the start, Micah was always in the spotlight in some way, as his father owns a famous entertainment company called Violet Stars Entertainment Co. and was frequently in the public eye, trying to create the image of a picture-perfect family. Growing up, Micah was forced to go to many events, despite being loud and crowded and often causing him to have sensory overloads. He was never allowed to leave his parent's side, despite trying to tell them when he was getting too overwhelmed. Louis didn't care, and Patricia's efforts to try and help Micah weren't much, usually only being to save herself the trouble of an 'unruly' child. They enrolled Micah in Columbia University after high school, but Micah dropped out after he met Jaxx and learned he was starting a band. His parents were absolutely pissed, but Micah didn't pay much mind and decided to pursue his dream as guitarist with Jaxx and his band, Shotguns and Marigolds. Around a year after Micah joined, the band gained a lot of traction. While they're super famous, they're well known and make a lot of good money off performances and people listening to their songs.

• Wilbur Coopers: The drummer of Shotguns and Marigolds. Wilbur is a bit of an asshole, but has an incredibly good heart. He often goes down to the first floor of the group's apartment complex and puts food outside for stray animals. (Eighteen years old)
• Carter Ambrose: The rhythm guitarist of Shotguns and Marigolds. Carter is the 'mom friend' of the band, and he likes to do simple acts of care like cooking for the others or making sure they have what they need. Carter is particularly close with Micah, and is always keeping an eye on him. (Twenty years old)

The group lives together in a really nice apartment complex in New York City. Their apartment is on the fourth floor, and they have a four bedroom, two bathroom apartment. Carter really likes interior design, so he did most of the decorating. The interior apartment has a cottage design style, and he hung up some old plates and other trinkets he found at thrift stores.

Shotguns and Marigolds is a band started by Jaxx Wilson that specializes in alternative/indie rock music. The band has become a lot popular in the past year, and have performed at a few outdoor venues, clubs, and opened for a few bigger bands. All the members are widely liked, known for looking out for their fans and making sure their concerts are safe for everyone. They also have popular accounts on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram where they promote their music and post short blogs.
