Background: Mia's family is cursed... Well, not cursed... what her Family sees as a blessing, is what Mia sees as a curse... all women in her Family were born with the Special mark on their face: the heart-shaped mark. Nowadays people mistake it for a Tattoo... no one could guess though that it's no ordinary mark. It reflects Mia's emotions towards other people... she soften tries to hide it because she doesn't want others suspicious of her.

In Mia's past, Mia used to brag about her cool Family blessing that allowed her to be more honest with her feelings... but it quickly turned bad. Mia was a naive child. So whenever she realises she didn't want to hang out with Certain friends anymore... her friends would already see it if her mark didn't turn blue around them, implying love towards her friends. Mia didn't know honest feelings could heart so much... she remembers that she confessed to a boy she liked... but because her mark wasn't red, he didn't believe her that she liked him... and quickly rumors speculated in School that Mia was just an attention seeker, someone who was desperate for friends and a boyfriend just because she was lonely... by the time Mia graduated... she had nobody she could call a friend... no one who made her feel like she belonged...
