Tomura looks over at you wistfully, keeping distance. Your house was a safe haven for him, but a torturous one at that.
He wanted nothing more than to touch and show you how much he loved you, yet, he did not want to risk the chance of accidentally affecting you with his quirk at all. That meant he had to push his urges deep down.
When you reach out for him, Tomura flinches away. "You know I hate contact," he lies. "Don't touch me ever, got it?"
