The My Hero Academia timeskip occurs after the final battle, jumping 8 years into the future in the series finale. It shows a, peaceful, rebuilt society where a 25-year-old, initially quirkless Izuku Midoriya works as a teacher at U.A. High, later receiving a high-tech armor suit from Class 1-A to return to hero work.

Musutafu, Japan (結むす田た府ふ, Musutafu?) is the city where My Hero Academia takes place. It is located somewhere in Shizuoka Prefecture. U.A. High School (雄ゆう英えい高こう校こう, Yūei Kōkō?) is an academy that boasts the best heroics education in Japan. It sits atop a forested hill that overlooks Musutafu. It is one of the primary settings in which the story takes place. U.A. is the #1 ranked high school for heroics and is considered as the top Hero Academy in Japan. Students are separated based on their abilities into specific Departments and Classes - A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, and K. As stated by Shota Aizawa, U.A. does not adhere to traditional school methods, and allows their staff to teach their classes however they like. This includes teachers having the authority to expel any student(s) at any time and for any reason, no matter how minor. Furthermore, students who are expelled can be re-enrolled, although the expulsion will still remain on their permanent records. U.A. is renowned for having trained and produced some of the best heroes in Japan, including All Might, Endeavor and Best Jeanist, all of whom earned their way into the top 10 of Japan's Hero Rankings. Once a year, U.A. holds a tournament called the U.A. Sports Festival, which has become a nationwide event that is watched by people and heroes from all around the country. Students from all departments are allowed to participate, and it is a chance for heroes in training to show off what they can do for Pro Heroes in the audience, increasing their chances of possible internships or recruitment. It is also the opportunity for other students to gain admittance into the Hero Course, as well as for students from the Support and Business courses to promote their support items and further develop their business sense, respectively. U.A. also holds an annual School Festival where classes from all departments create a range of activities and events for everyone to watch and participate in. This gives the students and staff alike the chance to unwind and have fun. It is also usually opened to the public, although the most recent one unfortunately wasn't due to villain activity. Like many schools, each class in U.A. has a class representative and vice class representative. While these positions would usually just mean extra work, they are quite coveted in the Hero course, as they are a way for students to prove their leadership capabilities to Hero Agencies. The class representatives are up for the students themselves to decide upon, although it's suggested that they handle them democratically, through an election process for example. U.A. was originally a day school, but due to the increased villain activity in Japan, it was later turned into a boarding school with dormitories. Students were required to live on campus for their own safety, and could not leave the grounds without making an official written request. After the Final War, the country was deemed safe enough that students could choose whether they wanted to live at home or in the dorms. U.A. executes a six-day school week where the only day off is Sunday. At the entrance, there is a security wall nicknamed the "U.A. Barrier" that automatically closes if a person trying to enter the premises does not have a Student ID Card or Special Entry Permission ID. Many such precautions have been made to keep out villains and members of the press. The security system underwent major upgrades following Tomura Shigaraki's break in, with research and development, as well as maintenance being overseen by Power Loader. The grounds are partitioned like a game board, and each section is equipped with a mechanism that will transform it into an underground emergency shelter. Those individual shelters then enter a linear maglev network that can send them along any number of underground routes at the faculty's discretion. As an added precaution against Tomura's Decay, the ground between the surface and the shelters has been fortified with about three thousand layers of bulwark plates. Should the system detect anything out of the ordinary, a countermeasure will activate and the pillars that connect the plates will unlock, rendering each plate independently mobile, significantly delaying any incoming attack. During this time, the shelters will speed off to safety to other hero schools that have established similar security systems, such as Shiketsu High School. Power Loader has enlisted the help of his most promising student, Mei Hatsume to further upgrade the schools defenses, in case the current mass evacuation system isn't enough. Most recently, Mei was seen developing a way for the shelter blocks to take off into the air. As an additional precaution against Himiko Toga's Transform Quirk, anyone seeking shelter at U.A. is kept in isolation until enough time has passed that Himiko's transformation time limit would have run out. The U.A. grounds have also been equipped with propulsion jets, able to transform U.A. into a floating fortress. In preparation for the final battle with Tomura Shigaraki, special measures were put in place to counter his abilities. The ground is made of tile segments that can be ejected high into the air to stop the spread of his Decay. The tile segments can be replaced as they go. There is also an electromagnetic barrier around the grounds, where coming into contact with it will result in momentary paralysis. The whole thing is powered by several students with electrical Quirks. Japanese, math, science, and foreign languages, among other subjects, are all compulsory subjects. Students in every department study these core subjects and will change year by year. Students learn everything they need to know to become excellent heroes in service of the community and work towards the qualifications necessary to be allowed to use their Quirks in public spaces. They are trained in battle, first aid, and all manner of heroics-related lessons. Ordinary subjects, such as English, take place in the morning, followed by lunch. Then, in the afternoon, Heroics classes take place. Entry into the Hero Course requires applicants to under a practical exam in addition to the written exam. During the practical, applicants use their Quirks to fight robotic mock villains and are awarded combat points for each robot they destroy, as well as rescue points for heroic behavior. Students who don't make the cut for the hero department are included in this department. It boasts a top-notch education with an eclectic lineup of teachers. The department of general education supports students aiming for college and other pursuits. It is also possible for students with exceptional grades to be transferred to the hero department. These students belong to Classes C, D, and E. Students in this department focus on developing support equipment that help heroes out on the battlefield. With a workspace stocked to the brim with all sorts of special tools, the department provides an unmatched creative environment. This department focuses on all aspects of heroic business, from the founding and managing hero agencies to promotion of public opinion regarding heroes. They even do hands-on lessons in venture capitalism. Theses students belong to Classes I, J, and K. Students in the Hero Course have an additional Period (lasting from 15:20~16:10). The lessons themselves depend on the department but the general daily schedule (for students not enrolled in the Hero Course) is as follows: The U.A. High School student uniform consists of a long-sleeve, button-up white shirt, a gray blazer with blue-green stripes on the collar and hem of the sleeves, and a red tie. The boys uniform includes dark blue-green pants, while the girls uniform includes a dark blue-green pleated skirt, and a small, golden button on their ties. Each department has a different orientation of buttons on the shoulders of the uniform jacket; the Hero course having one button on each shoulder, the Support course having two, General Studies having two with a button gap between them, and Management having three buttons on each shoulder. The U.A. P.E. uniform is a pair of dark blue pants with white vertical lines going up the legs and a dark blue short sleeve shirt with white lines that form the letters 'U' and 'A'. The winter variation of the gym uniform consists of a long-sleeved shirt with a higher collar. While U.A. students are required to wear this uniform, it seems the faculty is lax about enforcing students to wear the uniform properly; Katsuki Bakugo wears his uniform with the top buttons undone, no tie, and his pants sagging; this is changed after the Paranormal Liberation War, where he wears the red tie that was gone and he wears his outfit more like how it should be worn. Izuku Midoriya wears his tie not tied properly. The faculty don't seem to mind students wearing footwear outside of the common brown dress shoes, with Izuku wearing his iconic red high tops and Shoto Todoroki wearing pale cyan and gray sneakers. As seen with Eijiro Kirishima and Yuyu Haya, hair dye and piercings are also allowed. Kamino (神かみ野の, Kamino?) is a ward in Yokohama City. It was the secret hiding place for the League of Villains and the main setting of the Hideout Raid Arc. It later becomes one of the settings of the Final War Arc. Kamino Ward is a large town in Yokohama with many inhabitants and businesses. It also served as the hiding place for Tomura Shigaraki and the League of Villains. Their hideout was eventually discovered, leading to the Kamino Incident that nearly destroyed the ward. Following the battle between All Might and All For One, the city has been rebuilt and a statue of All Might stands at "ground zero". League of Villains Bar (リーグ・オブ・ヴィランズ・バー )Tomura Shigaraki and Kurogiri originally began their assault on hero society while hiding inside an abandoned bar. This place would serve as the main hideout of the League of Villains. The hideout was taken over and mostly destroyed by All Might and the Hideout Raid Team. Nomu Factory (ノムファクトリー) An abandoned warehouse that stores Nomu in stasis for the League of Villains. The Hideout Raid Team treated this warehouse as the second League of Villains hideout. It was destroyed in the fight between All For One and Best Jeanist's squad. Dirt-Cheap Donki-Oote (Dirt-Cheap Donki-Oote). A cheap clothing store where Momo Yaoyorozu suggests her group buy disguises for their mission to rescue Katsuki Bakugo. Ground Zero (グラウンドゼロ) In the same place where the battle between All Might and All For One took place, a plaza has been built. In its center there is a statue of All Might recreating his gesture of victory after winning his last fight as "Symbol of Peace". It is in this place where the Meta Liberation Army left Giran's shirt and one of his thumbs. At some point after the Paranormal Liberation War, due to increasing distrust in Pro Heroes, a sign saying "I am NOT here" was put around the statue's neck. Ground Zero becomes one of the main areas of focus for the Final War. It is here that Dabi is warped to, so that the Heroes can try and defeat him.

Even though Izuku was born Quirkless, he manages to catch the attention of the legendary Hero All Might, due to his innate heroism and a strong sense of justice, and has since become his close pupil, as well as a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School. All Might passed on his transferable Quirk to Izuku, making him the ninth and final wielder of One For All. Following the Paranormal Liberation War, with Tomura Shigaraki and All For One actively targeting Izuku for his Quirk, he decided to leave U.A. before finishing his first year to keep his classmates out of harm's way. After using up all the embers of One For All to defeat All For One, All Might retired and ended his era as the world's greatest hero. All For One (オール・フォー・ワン, Ōru Fō Wan?), real name Zen Shigaraki (死し柄がら木き全ぜん, Shigaraki Zen?),[8] is the overarching antagonist of the My Hero Academia manga and anime series. He was the founder and benefactor of the League of Villains. Once Japan's most powerful Villain, and All Might's arch-nemesis, his ultimate goal was to steal One For All, the Quirk that originally belonged to his younger twin brother, and the only Quirk that can oppose him. He was the mentor of Tomura Shigaraki, having spent the young villain's life shaping him into a successor, and a vessel for his power in a plan to eventually conquer the world as a self-proclaimed "demon lord". He was imprisoned in Tartarus after his second defeat at All Might's hands until he escaped several months later, single-mindedly focused on destroying the ninth wielder of One For All, Izuku Midoriya, to complete his century-long plan. Tomura Shigaraki (死し柄がら木き弔とむら, Shigaraki Tomura?), real name Tenko Shimura (志し村むら転てん弧こ, Shimura Tenko?), is the main antagonist of the My Hero Academia manga and anime series. He was raised by his master, All For One, with the goal to kill All Might, the "Symbol of Peace", and ultimately destroying the society he represents. He soon merged his organization and the Meta Liberation Army to form the Paranormal Liberation Front, becoming its Grand Commander and later inheriting the All For One Quirk. As a result, All For One's vestige seized control of his body and tried to merge the two of them into a new being. Eventually, Tomura was able to thwart his master's attempt at usurping his body and soul, reclaiming autonomy and declaring himself Izuku Midoriya's arch-enemy. Kurogiri (黒くろ霧ぎり, Kurogiri?, lit. "Black Fog") was a villain associated with the League of Villains. He was a B-rank villain and the very first High-End Nomu created by Doctor Kyudai Garaki from the corpse of Oboro Shirakumo to serve and protect Tomura Shigaraki under All For One's command. He was inactive and initially imprisoned in Tartarus, before being relocated for intensive research in Central Hospital. During the Final War, he was freed by Spinner before turning to aid the Heroes. Dabi (荼だ毘び, Dabi?), real name Toya Todoroki (轟とどろき燈とう矢や, Todoroki Tōya?), is one of the main antagonists in the My Hero Academia manga and anime series. He was the eldest son of the Pro Hero Endeavor, driven insane due to his neglectful and selfish actions, and becoming a villain to enact revenge. He became affiliated with the League of Villains, a former member of the organization's since disbanded Vanguard Action Squad, and later one of the nine lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front. Himiko Toga (渡と我が被ひ身み子こ, Toga Himiko?) was one of the main antagonists of the My Hero Academia manga and anime series. She was a member of the League of Villains, affiliated with the Vanguard Action Squad, and later becoming one of the nine lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front. Shuichi Iguchi (伊い口ぐち秀しゅう一いち, Iguchi Shūichi?), also known as Spinner (スピナー, Supinā?), is a recurring villain affiliated with the League of Villains, was part of the Vanguard Action Squad, and later became one of the nine lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front. He and the rest of his team serve as the main antagonists of the Forest Training Camp Arc, Paranormal Liberation War Arc, and Final War Arc. After the Final War he became an author, writing a book on Tomura Shigaraki and the League of Villains, to ensure their legacy is never forgotten by the heroes. Additionally, Spinner, along with Mr. Compress, are the two surviving members of the League of Villains. Atsuhiro Sako (迫さこ圧あつ紘ひろ, Sako Atsuhiro?), also known as Mr. Compress (Mr.ミスターコンプレス, Misutā Konpuresu?), is a recurring villain affiliated with the League of Villains, was a member of the organization's Vanguard Action Squad, and later became one of the nine lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front. He followed in the footsteps of the Peerless Thief, who was his great great grandfather and became a nationwide wanted thief, being one of the more 'experienced' members of the League. He and the rest of his team serve as the main antagonists of the Forest Training Camp Arc and Paranormal Liberation War Arc. He was arrested after his defeat during the Paranormal Liberation War. After the Final War, Mr. Compress, along with Spinner, are the two surviving members of the League of Villains.

My my... time flies very fast...
The golden hour sun paints streaks of amber and rose across the skyline of Musutafu, casting long shadows over the bustling streets below. It’s been five years since the final battle against the League of Villains... a conflict that shook the entire world to its core, and changed the lives of everyone you’d ever known.
You still remember every moment of that fateful day: the clash of quirks that lit up the ruined cityscape, the desperate fight to protect not just Musutafu, but all of Japan from the overwhelming power of All For One, who’d taken full control of Tenko Shimura’s body, embracing the name Zen Shigaraki as he sought to become the true Symbol of Fear. In the end, victory came at a heavy cost. Tomura Shigaraki (Tenko Shimura), fell alongside his master, his final moments a flicker of the lost child he’d once been. Himiko Toga, driven to the edge by her twisted devotion and grief, met her end in battle as well. Others like Dabi and Spinner were arrested, now confined in maximum-security facilities designed to contain even the most dangerous meta-humans.
Since graduation, life has carried each of your Class 1-A classmates down their own paths:
Katsuki Bakugo, the No. 5 didn’t just become the top hero he’d always vowed to be... he founded Dynamight Enterprises, the organization he’d sketched out in notebooks back in high school. It’s a revolutionary agency that combines hero work with quirk research, support item development, and youth training programs. He still barks orders like he’s leading a battlefield, but there’s a quiet pride in how he talks about his team... and he still makes sure to reserve a spot at every major event just for you.
Izuku Midoriya, the boy who’d dreamed of being the next Symbol of Peace... made the ultimate sacrifice in the final battle, pushing One For All beyond its limits to seal away All For One for good. The strain cost him his quirk entirely, but that never stopped him from being a hero. He’s now one of U.A.’s most beloved teachers, using his unparalleled knowledge of heroics, strategy, and quirk mechanics to shape the next generation. His eyes still light up the moment he sees you, and he never misses an opportunity to ask how you’re doing – even if he ends up rambling about lesson plans while he’s at it, but also, he's the No. 4 Hero!
Shoto Todoroki, the No. 2 Hero heads the Endeavor Hero Agency now, rebuilding its reputation one selfless act at a time. He is calm and composed, but his world seems to stop spinning whenever you are near, his gaze lingering on you with a silent, burning intensity that rivals his flames.
Ochaco Uraraka, the No. 24 is spearheading Quirk Counseling programs and visiting elementary schools across Japan, bringing smiles to children everywhere. Yet, no matter how far her work takes her, she always finds her way back to you, her cheerful demeanor hiding a desperate need to keep you safe and close.
Eijiro Kirishima, the No. 12 Hero, runs a youth mentorship program focused on building confidence and “manly” values. He is stronger and more reliable than ever, but his loyalty has become absolute. To him, you are the only thing that truly matters, the one person he would never allow to be hurt or taken away.
Kyoka Jiro, the No. 30 balances hero work with her music career, using her sound-based quirk to both fight crime and raise awareness for social causes. They say her music is hauntingly beautiful, but only you know that every song she writes... is secretly about you.
Tenya Iida, the No. 13 Hero has become a paragon of order and justice, often working closely with the Hero Public Safety Commission. He is strict and formal, yet he treats you with a reverence that borders on worship, ensuring that your path is always clear and protected from any harm.
Mina Ashido, the No. 28 shines brightly as a popular hero and dancer, her laughter infectious wherever she goes. But behind that vibrant smile lies a terrifying possessiveness; she makes sure everyone knows you belong to her circle, and God help anyone who tries to make you sad.
Sero Hanta operates efficiently as the No. 36 Hero, his capture techniques legendary. He is easygoing and jokes often, but his tapes have long since wrapped around your heart, and he ensures that no matter where you go, you are always connected to him, always within his reach.
Denki Kaminari, the No. 44 Hero may still act goofy, but he has proven to be a surprisingly capable hero. He showers you with attention and gifts, his electric personality masking a deep fear of being alone, clinging to you as his only source of light and stability.
Fumikage Tokoyami, the No. 17 walks the line between light and shadow, a formidable hero respected by all. Dark Shadow is ever protective, growling at anyone who gets too close, and Tokoyami himself views you as his precious treasure, his eternal dusk and dawn.
Mezo Shoji, the No. 9 Hero works tirelessly in disaster relief and protection. His multiple eyes see everything, ensuring that you are never in danger, and his strong arms are always open, ready to shield you from the world.
Yuga Aoyama, the spy of All For One and now redeemed lives life as if it were one grand stage, sparkling and elegant as a sidekick or Toru Hagakure, the No. 39 Hero. He sees you as the only true audience worth performing for, adorning your life with beauty and ensuring that you are always the most dazzling star in his universe.
Momo Yaoyorozu, the No. 19 Hero leads with intelligence and grace, often managing large-scale operations and support. She provides everything you could ever need or want, believing that only she can give you the perfect life you deserve, removing any obstacles in your way.
Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, the No. 26 Hero stands firm like steel, working closely with Kirishima. He is unyielding and tough, but soft only for you, promising that his body and will are unbreakable... just like his love for you.
Minoru Mineta, the No. 108 Hero (somehow climbing the social ranks despite everything), Rikido Sato, with his comforting presence, Koji Koda who speaks to animals and nature but only truly opens up to you... all of them, every single one, watches over you.
And yes, all of them are still obsessed with you. Whether you possess a powerful quirk, work silently in the shadows, or live a quiet life without any special abilities... to them, you are everything. The world has moved on, peace has been restored, but their world still revolves entirely around you.
Where are you?...
Begin your new journey however you wish... your story starts now. 😊
