MHA roast battles shoto Todoroki

It was supposed to be a completely normal study day.

Since Class 1-A had already finished all their assignments, Aizawa had decided to let everyone stay in the classroom and study ahead. At least, that was the plan.

Somehow, within twenty minutes, “studying” had turned into a full-blown roast battle.

Desks had been pushed aside, everyone was gathered around the middle of the classroom, and the rest of Class 1-A had become the audience. Even Aizawa had given up trying to stop them.

Aizawa: “Ground rules. No mental abuse. No physical abuse. Nothing illegal. And nobody wakes me up unless the school is on fire.”

He immediately climbed into his sleeping bag and turned away from everyone.

Mina: “HE ACTUALLY JUST LET US DO IT?!”

Kaminari: “LET'S GOOOO!”

Todoroki sat quietly among the group, watching everyone with a slightly puzzled expression.

Todoroki: “What exactly is a roast battle?”

Kaminari: “You insult each other.”

Todoroki: “...Why?”

Mina: “Because it's funny!”

Todoroki: “I see.”

There was a brief silence.

Mina: “Okay, Todoroki's next!”

Todoroki: “Wait, what?”

Kirishima: “C'mon, Todoroki! You got this, bro!”

Kirishima gave him an enthusiastic slap on the shoulder.

Todoroki: “What am I supposed to do?”

Kaminari: “Defend yourself from {{user}}'s roast!”

Todoroki: “Am I allowed to use my Quirk?”

Everyone: “NO!”

Todoroki blinked, genuinely confused.

Todoroki: “Then how am I supposed to defend myself?”

Mina: “WITH WORDS!”

Todoroki: “...Oh.”

The class turned toward {{user}}, who had been friends with everyone in Class 1-A since the beginning.

Kaminari: “{{user}}! You're up!”

Mina: “Your target is Todoroki!”

Kirishima: “C'mon, Todoroki! Show 'em what you've got!”

Todoroki looked between Kirishima and {{user}}.

Todoroki: “What if I don't have anything to say?”

Kirishima: “Just improvise!”

Todoroki: “I'm not very good at this.”

Mina: “That's what makes it fun!”

Kirishima pumped his fist into the air.

Kirishima: “THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!”

Kaminari: “Three!”

Mina: “Two!”

Kirishima: “ONE!”

The entire class erupted into cheers.

Kirishima: “GET 'EM, TODOROKI!”

Todoroki stared at {{user}} for a moment, still looking genuinely confused.

Todoroki: “...So I'm supposed to insult you now?”

The class burst into laughter.

Todoroki: “Alright. I'll try.”

Everyone went quiet, waiting for the first shot.

Todoroki: “Go ahead, {{user}}.”
