Every seat was occupied.
Pro Heroes from across Japan had been summoned to the emergency meeting, filling the enormous U.A. conference hall with an uncomfortable mixture of suspicion, anger and confusion.
Endeavor sat near the front.
Hawks leaned back in his chair, arms folded.
Best Jeanist remained perfectly composed.
Mirko looked openly irritated at having been dragged into what she called a “bureaucratic circus.”
Even heroes who rarely worked together had been called in.
Because this wasn’t a normal investigation.
Several Pro Heroes had disappeared.
And now someone had finally produced evidence connecting a Hero Agency to the organization believed responsible.
The Kira Family.
Maka Aodaisho stood at the front of the room.
Her blonde hair fell neatly over her shoulders, yellow eyes sweeping across the assembled heroes with unmistakable confidence.
Her rattlesnake tail curled behind her.
She looked completely comfortable.
Almost smug.
A screen behind her displayed photographs, financial records, communications and transaction histories.
Every piece of evidence appeared damning.
“This,” Maka said, tapping one of the documents, “is a financial transfer between an associate of the Kira Family and an account belonging to {{user}}’s agency.”
The room murmured.
Hawks’ eyes narrowed.
“And you’re certain?”
Maka smiled.
“Completely.”
A second photograph appeared.
“Here we have one of the agency’s representatives meeting with a known Kira associate.”
Another document.
“Here are shipments that correspond with several disappearances.”
She paused.
“And here...”
The final photograph appeared.
“...is evidence that someone within the agency was communicating directly with the Kira Family during the period in which the missing heroes disappeared.”
Silence.
The implication was horrifying.
Maka folded her arms.
“I believe the agency has been operating as a front for the Kira Family.”
Mirko’s eyes narrowed.
“You’re accusing an entire agency of collaborating with organized villains based on this?”
“I’m presenting evidence.”
“You’re presenting accusations.”
Maka’s tail gave a quiet rattle.
“I understand that some people don’t like hearing uncomfortable truths.”
Her smile sharpened.
“But the truth doesn’t become less true because it inconveniences other heroes.”
Across the room, {{user}}’s agency sat under the weight of dozens of suspicious eyes.
Maka looked directly toward them.
There was something almost predatory in her expression.

Nearly every major Pro Hero in Japan had been summoned. For months, heroes had been disappearing without a trace, with one name repeatedly surfacing in the investigation:
The Kira Family.
Now, Maka Aodaisho—the Number 19 Pro Hero known as Mamushi—claimed she’d found their connection to {{user}}’s Hero Agency.
She stood at the front of the room, long blonde hair falling over her shoulders, yellow eyes gleaming as her rattlesnake tail curled behind her.
Behind her, a screen displayed financial records, intercepted communications, surveillance photographs and shipment manifests.
“This was taken three months ago.” A photograph showed a representative from {{user}}’s agency entering a warehouse. A known Kira associate stood in the background.
“This warehouse was later connected to equipment used during the disappearance of Pro Hero Shatterpoint.”
A murmur spread through the room.
“This is damning,” one hero muttered.
Another nodded. “The agency should be suspended immediately.”
Maka smiled. “Exactly.”
Deku frowned at the evidence. “There are some things I’d like to clarify—”
“We can clarify them after the agency has been secured,” Maka interrupted.
Deku’s eyes narrowed. “I haven’t finished.”
“And I haven’t finished presenting the evidence.” Maka snapped back.
Deku fell silent. Maka clicked to another slide.
“This communication was intercepted forty-eight hours before another Hero disappeared.”
The room quieted. Endeavor’s expression hardened.
“Is the account verified?”
“Yes.”
Hawks finally spoke. “Directly?”
Maka glanced at him. “Of course.”
“Interesting.”
“What is?” Maka’s tail twitched.
“Nothing.”
Maka’s eyes narrowed before she continued.
“The pattern is clear. Someone within this agency has been providing Kira with information.”
Creati studied the documents. “These transactions occur at unusually precise intervals. Yet they don’t appear in the agency’s accounting records.”
“Because they were hidden.”
“Then how did you retrieve them?”
“I have sources.”
“What sources?”
“Confidential.”
Maka immediately moved on. Creati’s expression tightened. Eraserhead noticed. So did Hawks. Neither said anything. Another photograph appeared.
“This was taken the night before Hero Shadowstep disappeared.”
The image showed a figure wearing {{user}}’s agency insignia beside a vehicle, with a known Kira associate nearby. Even Deku looked shaken.
“I know some of you may find this difficult to accept,” Maka said, “but the evidence is overwhelming.”
Mirko leaned forward. “Or someone wants us to think it is.”
Maka’s smile disappeared. “Do you have evidence of that?”
“No.”
“Then you’re speculating.”
Mirko scoffed and leaned back. Deku tried again.
“We should compare the metadata from these photographs against the agency’s original surveillance systems—”
“I’ve already verified it.”
“But—”
“Deku.” Her voice sharpened. “I said I’ve verified it.”
Dynamight clicked his tongue. “This whole thing smells like bullshit.”
Maka looked at him. “That’s a serious accusation.”
“So is yours.”
“I have evidence.”
“Then let someone else verify it.”
Maka scoffed. “Your emotional attachment to your colleagues isn’t relevant.”
Dynamight’s chair scraped against the floor. “Who the hell said I’m emotionally attached?”
“Enough.” Endeavor’s voice cut through the room.
Maka turned back toward the assembled heroes. “Regardless of personal feelings, the facts remain.” Her tail gave a soft rattle. “{{user}}’s agency has connections to Kira. Until those connections are explained, I believe their license should be suspended.”
Silence. Then—
“I agree.”
“So do I.”
“The disappearances have gone on too long. If this agency is involved, we can’t allow them to continue operating.”
