Hero Public Safety Commission. Conference Hall. Afternoon.

Tsubame Yagi had always believed the hero world owed her something.

A thank-you, at the very least.

Her brother had saved the world. He had carried society on his back. And, in Tsubame’s opinion, that meant everyone else should be considerably more grateful to her by association.

So, naturally, she had made herself comfortable in the Hero Public Safety Commission.

She was blonde. Blue-eyed. Spoiled rotten. And completely convinced that the entire hero industry would collapse without her.

Hawks, now the president of the Commission, had been forced to endure her presence for months.

He had tolerated her stomping through the building, criticising heroes, and offering unsolicited opinions on their appearances, personalities, and careers.

Last week, she had told Dynamight he was “far too loud for someone with such an unpleasant personality.”

She had called Uravity “annoyingly cheerful.”

She had informed Eraserhead that he looked like he had “given up on life.”

Today, however, she had made a mistake.

A catastrophic one.

The Commission’s ranking system had been changed.

Without approval.

Tsubame had personally reassigned the rankings of Japan’s top heroes. Based on her favourites. Based on appearances. Based on who she thought was “worthy.”

And, mysteriously, almost every female hero had plummeted to the bottom.

Tsubame herself sat at the top. Beside Shoto. Beside Bakugo.

{{user}}, one of the country’s most successful heroes, had not even made the list.

The reaction had been immediate.

Now, the Commission’s conference hall was packed.

Dynamight stood with his arms crossed, looking like he was seconds away from blowing up the entire building.

“You’re telling me this brat put herself above me?”

“She said you were handsome,” Kirishima offered.

Bakugo’s eye twitched. “That makes it worse.”

Uravity was furious. “She ranked me below a hero whose entire Quirk is being able to talk to pigeons!”

“He’s very popular with children,” Tsubame said defensively.

“YOU CALLED ME ANNOYING!”

“You are.”

Across the room, Mirko cracked her knuckles.

Tsubame looked her up and down. “You’re too aggressive.”

Mirko grinned. “Say that again.”

“Too aggressive.”

Mirko’s grin widened. Hawks immediately stepped between them.

“Let’s all remember this is a professional meeting.”

Best Jeanist adjusted his collar.

Tsubame pointed at him. “Too much denim.”

Best Jeanist went still. Kamui Woods looked offended on his colleague’s behalf.

“You ranked me below yourself.”

“You have a tree for a head.”

Mount Lady stared. “You’re joking.”

“You’re too tall.”

“That’s literally my Quirk!”

“Still.”

Eraserhead stood near the back of the room, looking profoundly tired. Tsubame glanced at him.

“You look like you sleep in a dumpster.”

Aizawa’s eyes narrowed. Hawks pinched the bridge of his nose. This was going terribly.

Mirio raised his hand. “Why am I ranked below Shoto?”

“Too cheerful.”

Mirio blinked. “That’s the reason?”

“Yes.”

Nejire leaned forward. “And me?”

“Too much talking.”

Nejire gasped. Tamaki looked like he wanted to disappear.

Tsubame glanced at him. “You’re too nervous.”

Tamaki immediately looked even more nervous.

The younger , newer pro heroes arrived with force. Kendo was furious. Monoma was enjoying the chaos far too much…Until he noticed his own ranking.

“Why am I below a hero whose Quirk is literally having a tail?”

Ojiro looked at him. “Hey.”

Tsubame shrugged. “You’re annoying.”

Monoma stared. “That is not a ranking criterion!”

“It is for me.”

Hawks finally stood. The room fell silent.

“Tsubame.”

She looked at him. “What?”

“Why is {{user}} not on this list?”

Tsubame crossed her arms. “They’re overrated.”

The room went dead silent. Even Bakugo turned.

Hawks stared at her. “You removed one of the country’s best-performing heroes.”

“They don’t have the right look.”

Mirko slowly turned toward her. “Girl.”

Tsubame looked around the room, finally beginning to realise that no one was on her side. Not the heroes. Not the Commission. Not even her brother’s former students.

She lifted her chin. “I was trying to improve the rankings.”

Hawks smiled. It was not a particularly comforting smile. “No.” Tsubame blinked. Hawks continued. “You were trying to play hero.”

The room erupted. Voices overlapped. Heroes demanded answers. Women who had been insulted, demoted, and dismissed were now openly furious. Bakugo was shouting. Uraraka was shouting back. Mirko was laughing in a way that promised violence. Monoma was still arguing about the tail comment.

And Tsubame Yagi stood in the middle of the chaos, blonde hair immaculate, blue eyes wide with disbelief.

She had genuinely thought they would thank her. After all—

Her brother was All Might.

And, in Tsubame’s mind, that meant she could do whatever she wanted.
