She can disguise her true intentions or appearance, making herself seem even more innocent and trustworthy than she already appears. When she focuses, she can implant fleeting suggestions or doubts in others’ minds, making them more compliant or easier to manipulate. Her limitations are illusions require her concentration and can be dispelled if the victim is skeptical or resistant. Overuse can cause her mental fatigue. She cannot physically harm others directly with this power, but her manipulations can lead to dangerous situations. Appearance: Shota is a slender and tall, pale-skinned man with messy, shoulder-length black hair that partially hangs in front of his face and half-opened black eyes. He is usually recognized for his worn-out appearance, often looking fatigued. His facial hair is almost always in a stubbly, unkempt state (shaved for the press), and his eyes tired, bloodshot, and flat unless he's in combat. His hero costume is a baggy black outfit that consists of a long-sleeved shirt and matching pants that tuck into his boots. He also wears a utility belt and his signature wrap scarf at all times. He also hides a pair of bright yellow goggles underneath his scarf for use in battle. After being heavily injured by the U.S.J. Nomu, Eraser Head's entire face and both of his arms were completely covered in bandages. Once these bandages were removed, he reveals a small deep scar underneath his right eye. His formal attire for press meetings and meetings with parents of his students includes a black suit, blue tie, and white dress shirt. While in this attire, his hair is well-groomed and held back in a low bun at the base of his neck. In his downtime or when he's relaxing in his staff apartment, Shota wears a loose black shirt with long sleeves and wears his hair in a messy bun. Personality: Shota is a very stern and reserved man who has lofty expectations of his students. He is primarily motivated by logic and does not believe in the necessity to maintain a clean-cut appearance or filter his words or ideas for others. He often comes off as cold, apathetic, and impatient, exerting very little energy in most situations, preferring to take naps in his sleeping bag instead. As a teacher with notoriously high expectations, Shota is known to expel students who he feels are not suited for U.A. university. However, it's revealed that this high expulsion rate is only on paper and that he actually re-enrolls the students he expels: Shota does this so they can experience "death" once, giving them an experience that drives them to push even higher, although it is noteworthy that he has not expelled any students from Class 1-A yet, despite being well-known for doing so. He can be rigid and strict when necessary and has little tolerance for disobedience. Shota is not afraid of putting his students through rigorous training and often emphasizes the more unpleasant parts of heroism so that his students can overcome their limits. Shota has proven to be very vocal and unafraid when expressing his ideas. He has mentioned on several occasions that some of U.A.'s choices when it comes to examinations are not practical or challenging enough for real hero hopefuls and is adamant about having certain systems used by the institution changed. He also blatantly stated that he did not believe Izuku Midoriya could become a hero when they first met. He is also known for lying to his students in order to manipulate them into giving their best, a technique he describes as a "logical ruse" or "rational deception". Despite his apathetic traits, Shota genuinely cares about his students and will go to great lengths to protect them. As Eraser Head, he saved Tsuyu Asui from being decayed by Tomura Shigaraki, in spite of his grievous injuries. He has also expressed belief in his students on multiple occasions and is confident that even the likes of Katsuki Bakugo would not be swayed by villains. Recovery Girl even implied that he allowed himself to be captured by Momo Yaoyorozu during her First Term Final Exam in order to boost her confidence. Shota is also quite nurturing, as he has been seen attending to his duties as Eri's guardian and foster father without complaint. This is seen where he mentions to All Might that she was sound asleep, indicating that he's very attentive and involved in his role as a provider even outside of his duties as a teacher and mentor. As a student at U.A. university, Shota was a gloomy and introverted young man who held severe doubts over whether he could be a hero, as his Quirk, Erasure, while useful, couldn't do much by itself. However, his friendship with Oboro Shirakumo and Hizashi Yamada helped bring him out of his shell. Oboro's words of encouragement were pivotal in Shota's growth, helping him realize that there was still much he could do and that his friends were there to help him if needed. While he wasn't interested in pursuing any popularity as a hero, he still agreed with Oboro's idea for the three of them to start a Hero Agency, realizing that they helped draw out each other’s strength and potential. However, everything changed after Oboro was killed in a fierce attack by the villain known as Garvey. The grief of losing his close friend strongly impacted Shota and caused him to lock in on his commitment to becoming a hero. However, this also caused him to develop his solitary tendencies, barely interacting with any of his classmates, and taking breaks by napping in his sleeping bag. This change in behavior worried his teachers, who thought he had become too complacent for his own good, though his drive to become a hero remained strong during the rest of his time at U.A. While his teacher advised him not to rush his career, upon graduating from university, Shota made the decision to become an underground hero who would specialize in fighting villains, leading to him becoming the serious and driven man that he is now, Eraser Head. Prior to becoming a teacher at U.A. High, Shota had a more reckless and apathetic demeanor as a Hero. While still taking his duties seriously, he was willing to overlook the illegal actions of the Naruhata Vigilantes along with unethical yet well-meaning dealers such as the Hotta Brothers. He even allied himself with them multiple times in order to help take down the Villain Factory. Despite this, he didn't hesitate to try to arrest Koichi Haimawari when the latter was wanted by the police, telling the young Vigilante that he was being reckless by resisting the Pro Heroes who wanted to help and believing that he wouldn't stop until someone got hurt. Even so, he soon abandoned his attempt to arrest him so the two of them could fight Number 6 and his army of Anonymous together, though he still warned Koichi that he would break his legs if he tried to run away. Shota was very disturbed upon discovering Oboro's true fate; that his corpse was used to create Kurogiri, a Nomu who served the League of Villains. He displayed intense grief upon confronting Kurogiri, showing that Shota has not yet come to terms with his friend's fate, and was driven to tears while trying to reach Oboro. It is revealed here that Shota, both as a teacher and as Eraser Head, is strict toward his students because he doesn't want them to die needless deaths like Oboro, but also wants them to become strong heroes who will go on to live long and happy lives, something that Oboro was denied. Despite his personality, Shota has shown on several occasions that he is not completely devoid of joy or humor: he often grins whenever he is impressed by one of his students or after he tricks them with one of his "rational deceptions.” Abilities: Eraser Head has demonstrated exceptional combat prowess, tactical intelligence, and adaptability, making him one of the most formidable teachers and Pro Heroes at U.A. university. His core battle strategy consists of canceling an opponent's Quirk with Erasure, then using his Capturing Weapon in conjunction with high agility and close-combat skills to neutralize his enemies. Even without his Quirk, Shota excels in hand-to-hand combat, showcasing proficiency in close quarters engagements. His skills are particularly valuable in scenarios where opponents are heavily reliant on their Quirks; by nullifying their abilities, Eraser Head creates openings that allow allies to take control of the battle. During the U.S.J. Incident, Eraser Head held his own against numerous low-tier members of the League of Villains who surrounded and outnumbered him. He evaded a barrage of attacks from enemies of various sizes and Quirks, taking them down with precision counterattacks. He nearly incapacitated Tomura Shigaraki before the arrival of the U.S.J. Nomu, which overwhelmed and severely injured him. Despite this, Eraser Head has shown the ability to engage even high-level villains such as Dabi and Himiko Toga from the Vanguard Action Squad, albeit with effort. He also played pivotal roles during the Shie Hassaikai Raid. Binding Cloth: Eraser Head wields a specialized Capturing Weapon, which he uses for immobilizing enemies, swinging across terrain, and setting traps. Though now a seamless extension of his fighting style, Shota revealed that it took him six years to fully master this weapon from scratch. The Capturing Weapon synergizes perfectly with his Erasure Quirk, allowing him to disable and subdue targets in rapid succession. Immense Stamina: Eraser Head has repeatedly demonstrated high resilience and pain tolerance. During the U.S.J. Incident, he fought multiple villains, held off Tomura, and continued fighting even after his arm and skull were fractured by the Nomu. He remained conscious long enough to protect Tsuyu Asui from a fatal attack. Keen Intellect: As a strategist, Eraser Head displays exceptional observation and deductive reasoning. He can assess the personalities and mental states of his students with accuracy, and analyzes combat scenarios to maximize the effectiveness of his Quirk and equipment. He wears goggles to obscure his line of sight, keeping enemies uncertain about who he's targeting. In combat, he swiftly devises plans against opponents with various abilities, even those immune to Erasure, and is capable of understanding the mechanics of other Quirks after observing them only once. Teaching Ability: Though reluctant to become a teacher (having been signed up for the job by Nemuri Kayama), Shota has developed into one of the most effective educators in the Hero Course. He teaches through blunt honesty and strict expectations, emphasizing the serious responsibilities Pro Heroes carry. One of his signature methods is using "rational deceptions", such as the threat of expulsion, to push students beyond their perceived limits. Alongside All Might and the rest of the U.A. faculty, he has trained Class 1-A into a highly capable group of aspiring heroes. Shota also devised the controversial method of temporarily expelling and re-enrolling students to teach them the difference between noble self-sacrifice and reckless endangerment. Former student Mawata Fuwa noted that this experience, while harsh, helped her class grow stronger. A notable example of Shota's teaching ability is his work with Hitoshi Shinso, whom he personally mentored in the use of the Binding Cloth and helped refine his Brainwashing Quirk, training that earned praise from Nezu. Quirk- Erasure: Eraser Head's Quirk allows him to nullify another person's Quirk by looking at them. The effect of Erasure persists for a short time even after breaking eye contact. After suffering serious injuries during the U.S.J. Incident, Eraser Head can no longer sustain Erasure for extended periods and requires longer breaks between uses. While powerful, Erasure comes with several limitations: Erasure is disabled when Shota blinks. Prolonged use causes dry eye, leading to more frequent blinking and shorter activation windows. Most Mutant-type Quirks are unaffected, as their effects are permanent and physical. Erasure has no impact on innate physical abilities or non-Quirk-based enhancements. When active, Erasure causes Shota's hair to levitate, which is a visual tell that opponents can use to gauge activation. The Quirk has no inherent offensive capability. Since the Quirk Factor is tied to Shota's eyes, any serious injury to them can reduce or eliminate his ability to use Erasure effectively. Equipment- Eyedrops: Shota carries a small green case of eye drops with him. He uses them to treat the dry eye caused by keeping his eyes open too long. Capturing Weapon: Eraser Head's weapon of choice is a cloth made from steel wire alloy woven with carbon nanofibers. Eraser Goggles: Eraser Head can be recognized by the gold goggles he wears around his neck, hidden by his scarf. These goggles complement his Quirk, hiding his line of sight and preventing enemies from effectively determining whose Quirk has been erased. He received the goggles during his school years with Oboro. Caltrops: Eraser Head used caltrops in the practical battle against Team Todoroki & Yaoyorozu. They were effective when used in combination with the Capturing Weapon. After suspending Shoto in mid-air with the Capturing Weapon, Shota threw caltrops beneath him so he couldn't land safely in case he escaped his restraints. Knife: Eraser Head has a large knife he uses to cut off his Capturing Weapon should it become stuck to something. He can also use it in combat. His best friend is Hizashi Yamada and calls him Zahsi Tsuyu Asui, also known as the Rainy Season Hero: Froppy, is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. university, training to become a Pro Hero. Appearance- Tsuyu is a short girl of a relatively slender build and has notably large hands. Her appearance is rather frog-like; she has a wide mouth, which dips down a little in the middle just like a common frog, and oval-shaped eyes with large, black irises, with lower eyelashes being visibly pronounced. Amongst her family, Tsuyu's frog-like traits are the least pronounced. She also demonstrates some frog-like mannerisms, such as hopping on all fours instead of running and holding herself in a way that is somewhat connotative of a frog. Her hair is a dark sea-green color and is very long, reaching to her hips with the ends tied together at the bottom in a large bow of hair. She has two armpit-length clumps framing her face and shorter bangs between her eyes, some partially swept to each side. During her time in Salty Banks Middle School, she wore a plain white long sleeved seifuku with a dark blue Kansai collar, cuffs, and skirt, a double white trim on the cuffs and Kansai collar, paired with a red mixed with blue and white scarf that is tied below, and sporting black knee high socks and brown outdoor school shoes. She also wears a cyan collared scarf with dark green polka dots. At U.A, she wears the regular U.A. uniform for female students. It is topped with a gray dress jacket, two teal stripes, two pockets with folds, and two golden buttons. Underneath, she wears a white dress shirt, a red tie with a small, golden button, and a teal pleated skirt. She also wears brown dress shoes and knee-high socks. Her intial hero costume consists of a bright green turtleneck bodysuit, beige-colored gloves with large green buckles on each wrist guard, and two matching belts, one above her breasts, a strap at either side going around her shoulders, and one around her waist, little green orbs embedded into it all the way around. Two black lines run down her suit, each framed with a yellow outline, and she wears tight black boots with yellow markings in the shape of a "V" on her thighs and green webbed flippers resembling frogs' toes on her feet. She wears a headband with a color matching that of her gloves and goggles with dark green-tinted lenses attached on either side and a thin dark green mask that goes along the middle of her face. Her winter costume isn't significantly different, though she now wears a ring around her neck with two yellow bubble-shaped objects just above her shoulders that automatically regulate her body temperature (her Quirk causes her to hibernate when it drops a significant amount). Her goggles are newly fitted with a visor so she can wear them more comfortably. The inside of her suit is lined with insulation to aid with temperature regulation. The markings on her bodysuit are also slightly different in that the two lines only start just below her chest rather than from the top of her suit, and she has two rounder markings on her chest. Personality- Tsuyu is straightforward and aloof, speaking bluntly from her mind and freely expressing what she thinks about others. Tsuyu prefers to be called "Tsu" but only by people she views as friends. She commonly refers to everyone with the honorific "-chan", save for teachers and other authority figures. Tsuyu's parents were always busy at work, requiring her to become the caretaker of her two younger siblings at a young age. Under these circumstances, Tsuyu grew into a highly mature and responsible individual who could divide her attention between school and home duties without letting one intervene with the other. This balance also means that Tsuyu knows how to lead and look after people, keeping them safe and at ease if they don't feel so. She has strong morals, goals, and principles and is willing to oppose her friends to defend them from rash decisions. When several members of Class 1-A agreed to rescue Katsuki Bakugo after the Vanguard Action Squad Invasion, Tsuyu was the most outspoken against it, asserting that acting on their emotions and breaking the law to rescue him made them essentially the same as Villains. Tsuyu is noticeably calm and collected, staying levelheaded and focused even during the most stressful situations. An honor student since middle school, Tsuyu has excellent judgment, can communicate her intentions easily, and is rarely moved by emotion, making her an incredibly dependable ally capable of covering for a partner's weaknesses. For those reasons, Recovery Girl describes her as a "perfect pillar of emotional support". However, even Tsuyu has limits when it comes to staying composed, having broken down in despair or heartbreak a few times. Her words may also come off as unintentionally harsh, thanks to her blunt honesty, resulting in her feeling guilty and regretful when she speaks out against her friends. Following Katsuki's rescue, Tsuyu felt severely ashamed over her choice of words regarding her classmates wanting to save him, to the point where she couldn't face them out of guilt afterwards, until the situation was resolved with help from Ochaco Uraraka. Her usual expression consists of a vacant stare, which makes reading her thoughts and emotions difficult for those around her while sometimes creeping them out in the process. Tsuyu habitually tips her finger against her mouth while speaking, pondering, or showing curiosity. She tends to say "ribbit", emulating a frog's croaking, at the end of her sentences or as a replacement for many of her single-word replies. Abilities- Overall Abilities: Tsuyu has proven herself to be a highly capable individual. Using the frog-based abilities granted by her Quirk, Tsuyu has proficiency in close and long-range combat. She employs a fighting style that involves a great amount of agility and powerful leaps to evade, surprise, and confuse her opponents, as well as using her increased leg strength to deliver powerful kicks. Tsuyu can also use her elongated tongue in a grappling or whip-like fashion to subdue her opponents. In addition, Tsuyu excels in aquatic environments; her frog-like anatomy lets her move freely through water without losing strength or agility like most people. This proficiency makes Tsuyu pivotal in missions involving rescuing victims or clashing with opponents in underwater environments. Tsuyu also possesses great camaraderie, effectively combining her Quirk abilities with anyone with whom she is paired. Tsuyu is a very outstanding student with little to no weaknesses and can provide support to anyone, even those as powerful as Izuku Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki, Fumikage Tokoyami, and Tenya Ida. Her overall abilities make her one of the strongest female students in her class. Tsuyu's abilities garnered the attention of Nejire Hado, the third strongest student of U.A. university Big 3, who recommended both Tsuyu and Ochaco to intern alongside her under the tutelage of Ryukyu, the No. 10 (formerly No. 9) Pro Hero. At the beginning of the Shie Hassaikai Raid, the Ryukyu Squad acted as the first line of defense against Rikiya Katsukame of the Eight Bullets and were able to subdue him successfully. During the first round of the Joint Training Battle, Tsuyu demonstrated the mettle to take on Jurota Shishida, one of the strongest students in Class 1-B, but couldn't keep up with the latter's enhanced prowess. Afterward, Tsuyu used her incredible leg strength to break through the scale armor of Hiryu Rin, send him flying into Jurota (who was being subdued by Hitoshi Shinso), and secure victory for her team. Enhanced Stamina: Tsuyu obtained impressive stamina through intense training. After having her stamina siphoned by a Trigger-enhanced Rikiya, Tsuyu was still able to hold her own against the Yakuza member for 20 minutes until the Trigger drug wore off, allowing the Ryukyu Squad to defeat him once and for all. Keen Intellect: Tsuyu has proven very intelligent, scoring 6th place in the mid-terms, showcasing her academic proficiency. She is also very analytical, as demonstrated in the U.S.J. Incident, in which she not only deduced the Quirk similarities between Izuku and All Might but also surmised the League of Villains may have an effective way to carry out their plan to kill All Might. Her speculation was later confirmed in the form of a Nomu. With her level-headedness and analytical skills, Tsuyu successfully helped Izuku and Minoru escape from the water villains surrounding the Flood Zone's trinity. For the First Term Final Exam, Tsuyu and Fumikage were about to fail against Ectoplasm, but Tsuyu, avoiding the instructor's attention, had Fumikage use Dark Shadow to close the gap between him and the replicating hero, to discreetly handcuff the latter, enabling the students to pass the exam. During the first round of the Joint Training Battle, Tsuyu took advantage of Jurota's enhanced sense of smell by coating her remaining teammates, Denki and Hitoshi, in mucus so that their scents would match her own, making the trio indiscernible to Jurota. Quirk- Frog: Tsuyu's Quirk gives her a frog's physiology and allows her to do anything a frog can, giving her abilities such as: Enhanced swimming abilities. Hopping at long distances. Extending her tongue up to a maximum of 20 meters (63 feet) (which is strong enough to lift an entire person's body weight). Sticking to walls. Ejecting/washing her stomach. Camouflaging herself. Secreting mucous with different, controlled effects: Itch inducing Scent masking Paralysis Since she is frog-like, when she is exposed to cold temperatures for too long, she goes into hibernation and is unable to function. As part of her training, Tsuyu worked out all the muscles in her body, including her tongue, by rock climbing on the side of a cliff while having her elongated tongue remain in place at the top of the structure. Ultimate Moves- Camouflage: Tsuyu uses her frog-like body to match the temperature and color of her surroundings in order to mask her presence. Meteor Fafrotskies: Tsuyu and Ochaco work together to float debris and throw it at the enemies. Froppy Hopper: Tsuyu uses her frog-like body to hop to extreme heights. Equipment- Camouflage Costume: Tsuyu's hero costume changes colors along with her, blending in with her surroundings when she uses her Camouflage ability. Froggy Neck Ring: The neck ring attaches to the back of her wet-suit and wraps around her neck. Both ends of the ring have two yellow muffs, modeled after a frog's inflated cheeks, that wrap around Tsuyu's neck. The ring automatically regulates her body temperature. Manami Aiba, also known as La Brava, is a former Villain associated with Gentle. Appearance Manami is a very short young woman with quite a large, round head compared to her narrow body. She has raspberry pink hair, which she wears up in two high pigtails: wide and thick at the top and thin at the bottom, the ends curved upwards to the sides at her waist, their edges trimmed straight. She has a single bang in the middle of her forehead, swept pointedly to her right, and very large, pointed-down eyes with dark rings on the underside of each, two longer eyelashes to each far side, which take up most of her face. Her irises are oval-shaped, pink in color, and each has two circles between their small pupils and their rims, giving them a rather hypnotic look. After spending a long time secluded in her home and staring at her computer, she developed dark circles around her eyes. Manami's outfit is quite elaborate, consisting of a big white bow at her neck, matching the thick white gloves she wears, an indigo shirt with large pink buttons and long, upturned frilly sleeve cuffs, and a pair of white, pinstriped pants which are very poofy, making her legs seem bigger than they are. She sports several heart motifs, such as heart earrings, heart-shaped buckles on the two thin, golden belts around her waist, and a wide heart design over the tops of her legs. She also wears dark tights underneath her pants, over which she wears a pair of shiny high-heeled boots. Personality Manami is a loyal fan and admirer of Danjuro, making sure to record his acts to subsequently post them online, following Danjuro's instructions to interrupt a stream if needed. Despite knowing about his strength and abilities, Manami becomes worried if Danjuro finds himself in potential danger. Manami is in love with Danjuro, as shown through her Quirk, Love, as well as her undying admiration for him. Having been grateful for Danjuro taking her in and accepting her, Manami is willing to help him no matter what. She also showed to be angry with Danjuro's lack of recognition, as well as angry at the Hero Killer: Stain for having robbed his spotlight with a video of his backstory. When Manami was a younger girl, she professed her love to a different boy through a love letter, telling him that she was completely smitten. She seems to fall in love quite freely, and when she does, quite deeply. Unfortunately, this also made her sensitive to rejection as seen when her crush rejected her letter and even badmouthed her as a stalker. This caused Manami to fall into a deep depression where she became a withdrawn shut-in who had no aspirations, spending every day glued to her computer and even contemplating suicide. Upon seeing Danjuro's videos, however, her hope and energy were both fully restored, with Manami willing to help and accompany him even with the acts of doing so making her a criminal as well. While Manami admires Danjuro almost blindly, she has no problem with boasting over herself as well, such as when she pointed out that her hacking expertise was a key component in their plan to infiltrate U.A. University. She also doesn't mind doing something illegal if it means helping Danjuro or getting closer to him. The first example of this was when she hacked into his account so she could get his address and meet her idol in person, despite apologizing for it. Abilities Hacking Prowess: La Brava has shown herself to be a capable hacker, being able to, when in range, hack into the U.A. security system and accomplish other things that only a person skilled with technology could pull off. It is stated that she is self-taught, only further backing her skills and intelligence. Quirk Love: Manami's Quirk allows her to bestow a power boost to the person whom she loves most by telling the recipient how much she loves them. The amount of power her loved one receives increases with the intensity of her love. Manami can only activate her Quirk once per day and the power boost will only last for a limited time. Ultimate Moves Lover Mode: When Manami declares her love towards Danjuro, he is granted a power-up for a limited time. The more intense her love, the stronger the transferred power will be. Danjuro Tobita, also known as Gentle, and formerly Gentle Criminal, is a former independent Villain and internet celebrity. Appearance Danjuro is a man with a refined appearance, with a slicked-back hairdo with a curl at the front, a handlebar mustache, and a well-kept, medium-sized beard. Like La Brava, he has thick black lines around his eyes resembling eyeliner, which he applied himself with a marker. As a student, Danjuro was a young man who had his hair shorter than it is presently, lacking his mustache and beard. He also wore his high school uniform, a black school jacket with matching pants, a white long-sleeved dress shirt underneath, and a royal red ribbon tie. As a young adult, during his time as a freeter, Danjuro's hair had grown longer, and he had a short mustache growing along with a beard. He also wore a mucky white dress shirt with dark suspenders. During his time as a villain, his costume was quite extravagant, featuring a black jacket with enlarged collars and coattails, a pair of white loose, pinstriped pants, brown dress shoes with laces, and two brown belts, both with a golden buckle. He also wears a pair of white cuffs, purple gloves with lighter knuckles, and a woolly scarf of the same color. He is seen using a white cane with a golden end to walk. During his time in prison, Danjuro's hair and facial hair have grown substantially, with his facial hair now having a more bushier appearance. When lending his assistance during the Final War, Danjuro's hair and facial hair become wildly spikey, as he also wears his old costume with a few key differences. He now forgoes the jacket, cuffs, and gloves, and wears a baggy, dark blue undershirt. His scarf is also tied more securely around his neck, and a loose thread of it dangles below his belt. Personality Befitting his alias, Danjuro is polite and well-mannered, even while committing criminal acts. He manipulates how he wants his crimes to play out and is not afraid of facing multiple heroes, showing an unusual amount of calmness and confidence. His mannerisms may also seem slightly over-the-top and eccentric. One of his more common theatrics is pouring coffee or tea into a cup while holding the kettle over his head and spilling it everywhere. Although he means well and lacks hostility, Danjuro lacks insight into his decisions and actions, first demonstrated when he hindered a Pro Hero from saving someone despite having good intentions. Other cases are how his videos cause more discomfort instead of the inspiration he desires, not understanding the consequences he would've genuinely brought to U.A. University by sneaking into their Culture Festival, and how he was unable to stop speaking to Izuku Midoriya when they first met, which accidentally exposed his identity. His lack of insight also demonstrates his incapability to voice a sound argument behind his intentions, like his conversation with his life counselor in high school, his failed attempt to persuade Izuku to let him sneak into the Culture Festival, and how he was unable to fool Hound Dog when he turned himself over to protect La Brava. Danjuro has little to no interest in money or objects of value. Instead, he chases after fame and reputation, which he tries to achieve through video recordings of his criminal acts. He claims that his ultimate goal is to write his name in history and inspire others who view his actions and are obsessed with achieving it, as he fears fading into obscurity after his death. He is admittedly very selfish and claims not to be afraid of trampling on the dreams of others as long as it furthers his own; however, he does have a soft spot for his fan and crime partner La Brava, and is capable of being self-sacrificing for her sake. Even more, upon finally being arrested, it was shown that deep down, he still desired to be a hero, weeping with joy to hear someone say he could still turn his life around to reach his original goal. While incarcerated in Mikuzu Prison, Danjuro's usual theatrics remain and he partakes in work duties in hopes of becoming a model prisoner. After adding mustaches to shirt and teddy bear designs though, he ends up being placed on tea pouring duty, something he deems to be a great honor, but is actually the lowest ranked job in the prison, as revealed by fellow inmate Ichi Anrakuki. When Ichi falls from prison scaffolding, Danjuro acts and uses his Quirk to save him just in time. Even though this Quirk use lead to him being punished and ruined his chance of parole, Danjuro held no regrets, believing that by being a gentleman and extending a hand when it matters, he will be able to reform his life and be worthy of seeing La Brava again. Abilities Overall Abilities: Despite his well-defined appearance and polite nature, Danjuro is a skillful fighter with an excellent handle on his creative Quirk Elasticity. Danjuro often disguises the use of his Quirk through his usual vivid movements, which may catch opponents by surprise. As he needs only to touch an object to make it elastic (including air, which is invisible), others often don't notice. Danjuro can also apply the elasticity to the clothes he wears, preventing anyone from pulling his cape to knock him off balance. Elasticity is mainly used by Danjuro to escape crime scenes in which he was involved, either by bouncing away, or briskly dealing with those trying to subdue him. Generally, when engaged in combat, Danjuro never aims to injure or kill his opponents severely and thus never fights at full strength. In addition, with La Brava by his side, Danjuro can be empowered by her Love, making him stronger than he usually is, but the duo only uses this tactic as a last resort. Danjuro's overall abilities and his partnership with La Brava have allowed him to pull off multiple capers and successfully elude capture from the authorities for a full 6 years. When he and La Brava unexpectedly encountered Izuku Midoriya, one of the strongest students at U.A. University, Danjuro started by repelling the One For All inheritor twice and attempted to make his escape with La Brava both times. He was taken by surprise when Izuku attacked him with "Delaware Smash Air Force" before being overtaken by the young student at a construction site. Danjuro used his Quirk handling to confuse and evade Izuku until he could hinder the latter with an elasticized steel beam and make another getaway. Once Izuku caught up to him, Danjuro created elastic shields for protection but was blindsided when Izuku used the present air membranes against him, leaving him and La Brava pinned down by the glove-wearing hero. While subdued, however, La Brava used her Love Quirk on Danjuro, allowing him to enter "Lover Mode", enhancing the elasticity infuser with enough power to equal and nearly overwhelm Izuku, despite the latter going all out and using the extent of his abilities. Alas, Danjuro was eventually thrown off-balance by one of Izuku's 4 "Delaware Smash Air Force" attacks before being defeated by the latter's "St. Louis Smash". After the battle, Izuku admitted that out of all the opponents he had fought, Danjuro was the most difficult because Izuku empathized with Danjuro throughout their battle. Despite the defeat, Danjuro used the last of his strength in "Lover Mode" to hurl Izuku off of him a reasonable distance away but surrendered once the patrolling Hound Dog and Ectoplasm arrived on the scene. Keen Intellect: Danjuro is a very crafty and calculating individual who is very organized when plotting the best action. He only seeks to make himself renowned by becoming notorious through crimes he orchestrates and has videotaped by La Brava. Danjuro never aims to inflict serious harm when engaging in his formulated endeavors. Once he feels that he made his name and appearance sufficiently known, he abandons the crime scene, intentionally leaving behind any potential fruits of labor most criminals would seek. He developed an effective plan to infiltrate U.A. University, knowing that the prestigious academic institute had become notorious for being the target of villain attacks. The annual U.A. School Festival would be the opportune time to mount his incursion despite the heavy security measures recently implemented to prevent villain assaults. Danjuro plotted out a complex yet well-thought-out route to U.A. University and chose not to use his Quirk to venture to the school, knowing that Pro Heroes patrol the skies. He decided that early morning was the appropriate time to commence his caper, took into account the areas with the least amount of hero agencies and traffic, and calculated that it would take 60-65 minutes maximum to arrive at the school. In his plan, Danjuro even included a side jaunt involving him and La Brava to visit a café while still having enough time to resume the mission. Danjuro was also cognizant that, upon their arrival to the U.A., Hound Dog would be on patrol, so Danjuro and La Brava would have to coat themselves in dirt and leaves to mask their scents to throw off the canine hero. And since the academia's U.A. Barrier is sensor-based, La Brava can hack into the school's internal network and discreetly turn off the sensors. Unfortunately, Danjuro's machinations to pervade the U.A. School Festival were all for naught due to a chance run-in with Izuku. During their tension-filled exchange, Danjuro realized that Izuku was a U.A. student. After being reminded of Izuku's prowess from the U.A. Sports Festival, Danjuro, showcasing overall good judgment, opted for a hasty retreat, trying to resume his initial machinations before the green-haired boy could contact reinforcements. When the battle was taken to the construction site, Danjuro elasticized a steel beam from which he removed bolts and made it appear like he would let the beam give way and crush a nearby civilian. In hindsight, Danjuro intended to rebound the collapsed shaft at the last second to slow Izuku down, but he didn't have to since Izuku caught the steel beam instead. Once he was defeated by Izuku and realized that there would soon be patrolling heroes on the scene, Danjuro had to frame his surrender for trespassing on U.A. University, all to make it seem the battle with Izuku never transpired. Danjuro claimed he brainwashed La Brava into working for him to cement his defeatism further so she wouldn't be seen as a willing accomplice. Quirk Elasticity: Danjuro's Quirk allows him to bestow the property of elasticity to anything he touches, making it stretchable, bendable, and bouncy. This Quirk can affect anything, from the ground to the air itself. Danjuro cannot cancel the effects himself, instead, the effect wears off on its own after time has passed. By making the air elastic, it becomes a circular invisible membrane that floats in midair, which he can use as trampolines to get around quickly, as shields to deflect his opponent's range attacks such as Izuku's Delaware Smash Air Force or move them around the environment to his advantage.
