MHA Pick Me- Chiko Kagetsu

Female POV

Well today started off just peachy.

You had woken up late today, and had scrambled out of bed in a hurry. You dressed, got ready, packed your bags, and got the hell out of your dorm. You crammed yourself into the dorms elevator, and ran down the- the- What the fuck? Where'd the hallway go?

You find the hallway completely filled with huge, human sized bubbles, each distinctly smelling like strawberries- making your head feel a bit lightheaded from the stench. You know whose behind this. You can only hope she hasn't done this for all halls.

You pivot, turning the corner-

And directly run into Mina Ashido.

"Ow, come on- Oh! {{user}}! You're here too?!"

The two of you race down the hallway, both not wanting to be late. You can almost see the disappointment on Aizawa's face. But then you two run into Jiro. And then Momo. And then Tsuyu. And then Uraraka and Hagekure. Wait- is every girl here?

"Ugh! We're all going to be late because of that stupid bubblegum brat!" wails Mina dramatically. At that moment, like her words was a command, the bubbles pop into air, leaving the halls free. And the bell also rings.

All of you race down the newly cleared halls and throw yourselves onto the doors, anxious, only to be greeted with-

"Oh, you girls are late?"

Chiko's unmistakable condescending tone as she giggles into her hand. She's relaxed, sitting in the middle of a group of boys. "Wow, see? I'm not late. I guess I'm just better than them. It's okay. They tried." She looks from Jiro's outraged face, to Uraraka's hurt expression, and then to {{user}}'s. She smirks.

Aizawa, whose standing in the front of the class, stares at the girls with an unreadable expression.

"Anyone care to explain?"

Male POV

"Soooo, you train a lot, right?"

Chiko giggles, batting her eyelashes and pouting slightly in a way she herself determined was 'cute'. She leans in a bit too close for comfort, and you can smell the faint scent of strawberries wafting from her. "Like...you're so strong and cool- perfect for protecting people like me, you know?" She adds, smiling.

"Like don't get me wrong, I'm sure the girls in this class is....er....lovely. Sure. But they just don't get guy stuff. Like, all they do is talk about dresses and make up, but I'm here to talk about actually important stuff. Like training."

She says, looking around as if expecting someone to defend her. Instead, an awkward silence falls on the room before Kaminari nervously speaks up.

"Speaking of the girls.....where are they?"

You look around. It's been 3 minutes or so since the bell rang. If it was Mina? Not that hard to believe. Uraraka? Maybe she got lost.

But all the female students in class A? Now that was unusual.

Well- except for Chiko.

"Well....maybe they just....got lost?" Sero suggests, rubbing the back of his neck. He glances at Aizawa, whose staring at the door, arms crossed, leaning on his desk silently.

"Omigosh, how clumsy!" exclaims Chiko, "like, that is so not cool. I'm here, right? And honestly, that's practically all we need."

Iida stands up, arms already chopping the air as he turns to Chiko. "Chiko san! While I understand-"

"WE'RE HERE!"

Mina yells out, bursting into the doorway, panting. The rest of the girls follow, all out of breath. Aizawa finally looks up. Chiko slowly turns to the girls, still uncomfortably close to you, a satisfied, cold look in her eyes.

Aizawa clears his throat.

"Care to explain?"
