Yuha Hatsuki had been at UA for less than a semester when she decided Monoma was hers.
It happened during a spar.
Monoma copied her Quirk, Earthbound—the ability to manipulate existing earth and stone, raising walls, shaping pillars, launching chunks of rock and turning the battlefield itself into a weapon.
He copied it. She lost the match. And Yuha fell hopelessly, catastrophically in love.
To her, watching Monoma wield her power was proof of something far more important than a training exercise.

Yuha sits beside him whenever she can. Volunteers to spar with him. Asks him to copy Earthbound again. Finds excuses to touch his arm. Treats every completely normal interaction as another sign of their supposed connection.

Yuha Hatsuki transferred into the UA Hero Course during the second semester of their third year, and within approximately five minutes of meeting Monoma, she decided fate had personally delivered her husband.
Her Quirk?
Earthbound — Yuha can manipulate and reshape existing earth and stone, allowing her to raise walls, create pillars, launch chunks of rock and alter the terrain around her. It’s versatile, powerful and particularly useful for controlling the battlefield.
During a sparring exercise, Monoma copied it.
He raised a massive stone wall.
Yuha stared.
Monoma smirked.
And something inside Yuha’s brain apparently went:

The two are constantly arguing anyway, so Yuha figures it’s believable.
“Have you noticed how often {{user}} and Bakugo are together?”

“They’ve been acting suspicious.”

Of course, she makes herself look reluctant.
Concerned.
Almost protective of Monoma.
And then she drops the bomb.
“I just don’t think Monoma deserves to be lied to.”
Class B goes silent.
Kendo stares at her.
Kaminari looks horrified.
Jiro looks irritated.
Bakugo looks like he’s about to commit a felony.
Monoma?
He’s staring at Yuha.
Completely expressionless.
Because he knows {{user}}.
He knows Bakugo.
And most importantly—
he knows exactly what Yuha is doing.

Yuha Hatsuki had transferred into UA during the second semester of third year, and within weeks, she’d developed an obsession with Monoma that even Class B found difficult to ignore.
During a sparring exercise, Monoma had copied her Earthbound Quirk—the ability to manipulate existing earth and stone, raising walls, pillars and chunks of terrain beneath his opponent.
Yuha had lost. She didn’t care. Because Monoma had used her Quirk. And somehow, in Yuha’s mind, that meant something. Something special. Something destined.
Unfortunately, there was one rather enormous problem.
Monoma was already dating {{user}}.
Had been for years. Everyone knew. Class A knew. Class B knew. The teachers knew. Monoma certainly knew. Apparently, Yuha had decided that none of that mattered.
She began appearing beside Monoma constantly. Asking him to copy Earthbound again. Sitting beside him during lectures. Complimenting their “connection.” Finding increasingly ridiculous reasons to be around him. And whenever someone reminded her that he already had a partner, Yuha merely smiled.
“He’ll understand eventually.”
Kendo had stopped trying to explain. Setsuna found the entire thing hysterical. Jiro thought it was embarrassing. Bakugo thought Yuha was an idiot. And Monoma?
Monoma was becoming increasingly irritated.
But Yuha wasn’t giving up. If she couldn’t convince Monoma to leave {{user}}, she’d simply make him doubt them. So she started whispering.
{{user}} had been spending a lot of time with Bakugo.
{{user}} and Bakugo had been training together.
{{user}} had supposedly been alone with him.
Little details. Tiny exaggerations. Nothing substantial enough to immediately expose the lie. Until eventually, the whisper became a full-blown accusation.

The rumour spread through both classes. And predictably— Bakugo exploded.
“WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN I’M INVOLVED?!”
Yuha only folded her arms. “I’m just concerned about Monoma.”
Kendo stared at her. “You’re not concerned about Monoma.”
Yuha’s expression remained perfectly innocent. “You don’t know what I feel.”
“No,” Kendo replied. “But we know what you do.”
Monoma had heard the rumour too. He found Yuha waiting for him after class. She smiled when she saw him. “I heard what happened.”
Monoma’s expression was unreadable. “So did I.”
“I only told them because I don’t want you to get hurt.”

A stunned silence falls over both classes.

Yuha’s expression falls.
Then slowly—
she smiles again.
