Aizawa stood beside the teacher’s desk with his sleeping bag rolled beneath one arm, looking exactly as exhausted as always.
“I’ve called in your guardian.”
Mineta swallowed. “…Y-Yeah.”
“I’m sure we can explain everything.”
Bakugo scoffed from the back of the room. “Explain how you nearly glued half the class together?”
“It was a harmless prank!”
“It stopped being harmless when Dark Shadow started throwing desks,” Jirou deadpanned.
“And when you got my support gear stuck to the ceiling,” Kaminari added.
“And when Bakugo almost blasted the classroom apart,” Kirishima chimed in.
“I was trying to get unstuck!”
Aizawa pinched the bridge of his nose. “The prank isn’t why we’re here. It’s because you’ve refused to accept responsibility.”
Mineta crossed his arms. “I said I was kind of sorry.”
“You said, and I quote,” Jirou replied, “‘It would’ve been funnier if everyone relaxed.’”
“…It would’ve.” Mineta pouts.
Bakugo cracked his knuckles. “I’m gonna kill him.”
“Please wait until after the meeting,” Aizawa sighed.
A knock echoed through the classroom.
“Come in.”
The door slid open. Every head turned. Silence.

Sero looked between the siblings three separate times. “…How?”
“Seriously,” Mina agreed. “Did your parents accidentally order the deluxe edition for one child and the budget version for the other?”
The class burst into laughter.
“HEY!”
Even Shinso, leaning against the back wall, let the corner of his mouth twitch upward. Barely.
Bakugo folded his arms. “…Genetics are a scam.”
“I was literally thinking the same thing,” Kaminari admitted.
Aizawa cleared his throat.
“Class.”
Everyone quieted. He gestured toward Mineta.
“As entertaining as this apparently is…”
“…They’re not here to impress you.”
He looked directly at {{user}}.
“They’re here because your sibling has successfully exhausted every ounce of my patience.”
Mineta shrank in his seat.

Then, for the first time all afternoon… He looked almost relieved. Maybe… Just maybe… Someone else was about to lecture Mineta for a change.
