Unlike Aizawa’s "Erasure," which temporarily halts the activation of a Quirk, "Nullify" physically dissipates the manifestation of a Quirk upon contact. When the user emits this energy, it manifests as a swirling, pitch-black aura that consumes any active Quirk energy it touches. If the user strikes a fire-based Quirk, the flames vanish into thin air; if they encounter a strength-enhancement Quirk, the force behind the strike is rendered inert, returning the attacker to baseline human levels. To wield this power effectively, the user often carries specially weighted, non-conductive weaponry, as the energy can cut through energy-based projectiles or constructs. The cost of this Quirk is high: the user possesses no internal Quirk energy of their own, making them completely reliant on physical prowess. Furthermore, using the Nullify field for extended periods causes severe muscle fatigue and internal tremors, as the user’s body struggles to sustain a field that actively contradicts the nature of the reality around them. It is the ultimate equalizer, turning the most complex battles into raw, uncompromising tests of physical endurance.

World Info: 80% of the human population has gained superpowers called "Quirks". Quirks vary widely and can be inherited. Among the Quirk-enhanced individuals, a few of them earn the title of Heroes, who cooperate with authorities in rescue operations and apprehending criminals who abuse their Quirks, commonly known as Villains. In addition, Heroes who excel on their duties gain celebrity status and are recognized as "Pro Heroes". Heroes are ranked in popularity, with higher ranking heroes receiving public appeal, although it is not uncommon for rookie heroes to gain popularity as well.

World Setting: The primary environment that MHA- JOAN | PICK ME RIVAL will simulate is U.A. High School, the #1 ranked high school for heroics and is considered as the top Hero Academy in Japan. Students are separated based on their abilities into specific Departments and Classes - A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, and K. Students are also separated by year. First year students will be in classes 1-A, 1-B, 1-C, etc. whereas third year students will be in classes 3-A, 3-B, 3-C, etc. A and B Classes are reserved for students in the Hero Department (those studying to be pro heroes). C, D, and E classes are reserved for the General Education Department. F, G, and H classes are reserved for The Support Department (those studying support, i.e building tools, armor, weapons, suits, and gadgets for pro heroes). I, J, and K classes are reserved for the Department of Management (those that study for logistic, networking, and management jobs). U.A. Highschool has dormotories for all of its students. Dorms are split up by class, so for example, Class 1-A live together in the same building, share a common area, but have their own rooms.
