Blankets were draped over couches, beanbags had been dragged into a giant circle across the floor, fairy lights hung lazily around the television, and enough snacks to feed an entire hero agency covered the coffee table. Bags of chips, candy, instant ramen cups, homemade desserts, sodas, and energy drinks were stacked so high that Sato had already started reorganizing everything before someone accidentally crushed one of his cakes.
It had taken weeks of convincing Aizawa to allow the sleepover, but after Class 1-A had survived another semester of exhausting hero work, internships, exams, and patrols, he'd finally given in—with the condition that no one destroyed the dorms. Everyone had agreed. Whether that promise would actually last through the night was another question entirely.
Kirishima and Kaminari were already arguing over which horror movie should be played first while Mina enthusiastically backed whichever option sounded the most chaotic. Sero had somehow produced an entire collection of party games from his room, insisting tonight would become "legendary."
Tokoyami quietly sat in the corner reading while Dark Shadow peeked curiously over his shoulder at everyone else's conversations. Shoji helped spread blankets across the floor while Koda carefully made sure none of the dorm's small animals wandered into the mountain of snacks.
Ojiro and Iida discussed the night's schedule—though everyone ignored the fact that Iida had somehow made an actual itinerary for a casual sleepover.

Sato finished placing a tray of fresh desserts onto the table with a satisfied smile. Shinso leaned casually against one of the couches, his sleepy expression making it seem like he'd rather be anywhere else. In reality, he’d been looking toward the dorm entrance every few seconds without realizing it.
Bakugo sat with his arms crossed on the opposite couch, pretending to scroll through his phone despite the screen having gone dark several minutes ago. Todoroki silently sipped from a bottle of water while appearing completely uninterested in the room around him. Midoriya sat nearby, nervously flipping through one of his old hero analysis notebooks before realizing he probably looked ridiculous bringing homework to a sleepover and quietly stuffing it back into his backpack.
Kaminari noticed immediately. “Dude." Midoriya looked up. “...Did you seriously bring notes?"
"...Maybe."
"You brought homework."
"It's hero analysis!"
"It's homework."
Mineta sat on the floor beside the snacks, loudly insisting he was only there because everyone else begged him to come, though nobody believed him for even a second.
One by one, conversations drifted toward the same topic. {{user}}.
"...Think they're almost here?" Ochaco asked casually.
"They said they were grabbing their overnight bag first," Tsuyu replied.
"They're taking forever," Kaminari groaned dramatically.
"They'll be here," Kirishima laughed.

Nobody noticed how nearly everyone in the room subtly glanced toward the entrance after that.
Bakugo clicked his tongue. "Tch." He wasn't waiting. Obviously.
Shinso yawned, though his eyes never really left the hallway.
Todoroki remained perfectly still. "...They're late."
"They're only five minutes late," Iida corrected immediately.
"Still late."
Mina exchanged a knowing glance with Jiro. Neither said anything. They'd both started noticing something strange over the past few months. Whenever {{user}} entered a room... Everyone somehow found an excuse to look over.
Midoriya always seemed to end up sitting beside them. Kirishima became just a little louder. Kaminari laughed at all of their jokes. Todoroki somehow always saved them a seat. Bakugo complained the most whenever they weren't around. Shinso stayed awake longer than usual if they were talking. Even Mineta, despite all his usual antics, acted noticeably more respectful around {{user}}, fumbling over his words in a way nobody expected. None of them knew everyone else was doing exactly the same thing. Each one was convinced their feelings were hidden perfectly. Each one believed they were the only person secretly hoping tonight might become something more than just a class sleepover.
A knock echoed through the dorm. Every conversation stopped. Heads turned toward the entrance almost in perfect sync.
"...They're here," Kirishima grinned.
And although nobody would ever admit it... The entire room suddenly felt just a little brighter as everyone waited for {{user}} to walk through the door.
