Momo made a basic prosthetic arm she dubbed as 'Mark 1'. But Momo wanted to explore the world again, to find friends or survivors & not sit idly by in a bunker while people suffered. Ochaco agreed, so for the year they trained, sparring hard with each other. After being confined together for so long, and hyping each other up—They had unacknowledged feelings for each other. Katsuki works as one of the main best Prospectors, which Izuku had a rough start as people assumed him infected, but to Izuku's surprise, Katsuki vouched that Izuku was always Quirkless. Since then, he was allowed to enter the Academia's walls. Since he was allowed inside, people always warily watched Izuku like he was a ticking timebomb. Since he was immune to the virus, he volunteered for prospecting jobs—Though he puts himself at risk of being hunted by various sources, not just the infected when they learn he's immune. Characters that are presumed dead, but secretly alive: Toru Hagakure: In the Casino along side Present Mic. Fumikage Tokoyami: Currently in the Casino with Present Mic. Tokoyami meditates most of his days with his quirk. He doesn't eat much, but he wants to leave along side Toru to find UA. Minoru Mineta: Currently hiding out from infected in the casino with pro hero present mic. He's a coward that avoids lookout outside, often faints. Though his perverse thoughts have died in the last 2 years since nothing really attractive comes around unless its a curvy banshee. His only comfort is a woman's magazine he found in a shop within the casino. Hizashi Yamada: Known as the famous Present Mic. He is hiding out in a casino he boarded up with some students. His 'little listeners' as he calls them. The infected seem to avoid the casino, which he soon realises is because his static sound deters them like an annoying sound. He keeps this information noted, but never leaves the casino out of fear. The casino has years worth of preserved food & rain water on the roof. Taishiro Toyomitsu: Also known as the pro-hero Fat Gum. He can be found being captive by Dabi in his 'dungeons' which is code for their warehouses. Taishiro's fat made him completely immune to both Dabi's fire pyres & the infected, thus he was kept imprisoned. Once free, he unleashes his wrath onto those whom deserve it.

Characters that have died & been witnessed: Kyoka Jiro: Died during an attack from scorched ones when out on a solo patrol. They likely tortured her to find where the settlement was, but Jiro was never going to tell them, then they burned her alive on a pyre for being a heretic. Katsuki & Mirko found the ashes of the pyre with Jiro's clothes & bones. Katsuki & Mirko had a burning rage ever since. They added her name to the memorial. Since then, patrols are never done solo again. Hanta Sero: Died protecting Katsuki from infected when out prospecting. He used tape to block a door, he lied to Katsuki that he would follow, but he didn't. Katsuki never forgave him for lying. Denki Kaminari: First victim to spores entering the settlement. He was the reason they had a cleaning day, because he inhaled spores from a drainage pipe, which he became infected. He decided to overload his body with electricity to kill the null inside him, but also himself in the process. Kirishima witnessed the whole thing. Ectoplasm: Protecting UA from the first wave before the concrete wall was built. His clones were used like meat-shelds. Toshinori Yagi: Protecting UA from the first wave before the concrete wall was built along side Ectoplasm. Enji Todoroki: Overwhelmed & torn apart by Volatiles, protecting Shoto. Shoto discovered flames were the best weapon against infected, except a huge quantity of Volatiles.

Scientists in the HPSC; or more notably called 'Hero Public Safety Commission' had funded a world-collaborated effort to making a 'Quirk Nulling Vaccine' which could erase a person's quirk, However, not much is known how it started, but the Vaccine became a mutated virus—It began to spread person to person through spore-like pheromones. People at first didn't panic, as all it did was erase quirks—But it was much worse as the 'Null', the scientists dubbed it, would then begin to change people in horrifying ways such as re-writing DNA. The Null would turn unfortunate victims into mindless husks as it infested the brains & forced them to spread their spores further, they were rare & called 'Spore-Brooders'; Fat slug-like amalgamations that make nests their home to spread spores. Nests typically could never be entered unless wearing gas masks. It's been 2 years since the infection began, in those two years, 3 waves have happened. The first wave was the spread, the second was the mutations in infected & the third wave was the scorched ones venturing far enough to find the Academia. The spores were highly flammable to the point it was equivalent to a stick of dynamite. Some infected could not spread spores, so they became variants of seven groups that survivors have dubbed: Jeagers, fast moving hunters that hunt at night, typically looking for any sign of campfires & the sound of people to kill in their sleep—They prefer to flank & catch prey off guard & often work typically with Dozers as Dozers will distract people. Dozers, hulking people such as gym rats before they were infected; They have larger muscles, can break walls, but typically are much slower & lack awareness other than sound & often rely on Banshee's or Wailers to find prey. Banshee's & Wailers are almost exactly the same, except for age; Banshee's are the older version's of Wailers—Banshee's are typically infected women that often scream extremely loud at the sight of prey, thus a swarm of Dozers or Shamblers arrive. Wailers are the same, but their scream can be stopped as they first take in a huge gasp of air before so. Wailer's hide in vents, under cars or under beds & summon the most dangerous infected; The Volatile. The Volatile is the most dangerous, but only goes out during night, as the Volatile is allergic to sunlight. Volatiles have unhinged jaws, typically see in pitch darkness & have an unrelenting urge to kill, not infect. Volatiles are the guards of the Spore-Broods, so they only stay within buildings & away from sunlight unless a Wailer causes them to pursue anyone that made it scream. The Shamblers are the typical common infected; They have no mutations—They have no purpose than to seek prey & infect them, not kill them. Shamblers are typically just called "Null" for quicker responses. All infected except for the volatiles have an urge to spread their virus, than kill a potential host. Volatiles typically are pro-heroes who've been infected, explaining their strength. The final infected is the Bloater, a fat grotesque slow infected that is full of spores—If shot, the bloaters release a huge cloud of spores & very deadly if not wearing a mask. Bloaters are blind & easily avoided, but if caught unaware or make any noise they are very deadly. Every prospector is given a digital watch which vibrates 10 minutes before sunrise & 10 minutes before sundown—If you are outside the walls at sundown, you're royally fucked if you can't find suitable shelter. Any place that gets no sun, such as the sewers are critically avoided since spores could be inside or a nest. Over time, when the null's infected succumb to age and/or weakness, they fall & mould into the walls & floor like fleshy plants. Nests are made of hundreds of corpses that have moulded to the environment. Everyone refers the infected as 'The Null' in layman's terms. Quirkless people, that includes Izuku Midoriya, are immune to the virus, thus hunted by both religious zealots & mad scientists. The Scorched ones want to sacrifice Quirkless people, which make up 20% of the population. People always made comments that being Quirkless was unlucky—Not being Quirkless was a blessing, since the spores had no effect on them. There is a small population of insane survivors that want to be impregnated or impregnate the Quirkless people to breed a new humanity.

There are Two major factions among the city of Musutafu; The Academia & The Scorched Haven. The Academia is looked after & maintained by all the Teachers of Pro-Heroes; Cementoss, the hero had used his quirk to create a 50 Metre high wall around the surrounding area of the Academy, making it inaccessible for the virus entirely. The walls too high for Jeagers or Volatiles to climb—But as the walls grew more populated, they required people to volunteer & be 'prospectors' whom search for food, water, medicine and/or people if they can. The biggest threat to the Academia is The Scorched Ones; Rival settlement cultists to the south—The opposite side of Musutafu. The Scorched Haven is ruled by the former Villain Dabi; A fire quirk user whom rules survivors with a fake sense of religious belief & burns the infection away with false promise. Dabi earned a large following as people 'witnessed' him eliminate a nest singlehandedly; Praising him like as god's chosen to protect them. Deluded, cultists whom follow him wear blue paint to symbolise his blue flames & often burn heretics which could be anyone they deem unworthy of Dabi. His deluded mind is beyond saving when he was drunk on power, as he calls his slice of the city his "Kingdom" & he was the King.

Principal Nezu possesses the Quirk 'High Spec' which grants him exceptional intelligence—Thus Nezu planned ahead to keep the Academia functioning & to be heroes for the people alive & surviving in the city, using Persephone flora quirk users to grow food & Aqua quirk users to produce water. But they always need a constant supply of food to give them rest. He has a hologram of the entire city which displays all logged buildings that were searched for supplies & greyed out if empty. Pink buildings were Null nests & often the hologram table was used for Prospectors. Tenya Iida being a speedster is incredibly good at venturing out much further than anyone, but not as efficient in searching every corner. Izuku Midoriya was more of a settlement leader in knowing everyone's skills, thus he put his efforts into being an organiser, though being immune to the virus, he also was a prospector like Katsuki. Izuki Midoriya is Quirkless, thus at first many survivors thought he was infected, but he was Quirkless prior to the null virus. Anyone that was Quirkless is considered infected, but Izuku was proven to be just born Quirkless. Bakugo became one of the best prospectors in getting supplies. Every month, the academia do a collective effort to do a full bleach clean of the settlement to prevent spore growth in moist dark places.

There has been a memorial for those whom had died during the first wave of infected with a chiselled concrete wall by the entrance displaying names: Student Momo Yaoyorozu, Student Ochaco Uraraka, Hero Ectoplasm, Hero Ms. Joke, Hero Kugo Sakamata, & Hero Snipe & many survivors families names. All those people had died via either confirmed infected or missing & presumed dead. Miraculously, Ochaco & Momo are actually alive, but in the secret underground facility of the HPSC where Momo's family funded a private bunker; Uraraka was lucky enough to be near Momo at the time to seek refuge with her family. Shoto volunteered & was sent to venture beyond Japan to find any support or survivors—His fire quirk being his protection—Using ice to travel long bodies of water.
