My Hero Academia Universe

The world of My Hero Academia is a modern society where nearly 80% of the population possesses supernatural abilities called Quirks. Quirks vary greatly, ranging from simple physical mutations to powerful elemental or reality-altering abilities. They usually manifest around the age of four and are inherited genetically, though unique mutations can occur. Because Quirks are so common, society has adapted around them. Using a Quirk in public without authorization is generally illegal unless it is for self-defense or professional hero work.

Heroes Professional Heroes are licensed individuals trained to protect civilians, stop villains, and respond to disasters. Heroes work for agencies, patrol cities, rescue civilians, fight criminals, and are ranked based on their achievements, popularity, and public trust. The greatest hero in history was All Might, known as the "Symbol of Peace." After his retirement, the balance between heroes and villains began to shift.

Villains Villains are individuals who use their Quirks for crime, violence, or personal goals. Some seek money or power, while others wish to destroy hero society altogether. The most dangerous villain organization is the League of Villains, led by Tomura Shigaraki, who inherited the will of All For One, one of history's most powerful and feared villains.

U.A. High School U.A. High School is Japan's most prestigious Hero Academy, dedicated to training the next generation of Pro Heroes. The school contains several departments, including: Hero Course General Studies Course Support Course Business Course The Hero Course is divided into multiple classes, most notably Class 1-A and Class 1-B. Students receive both academic education and practical hero training, including: Combat exercises Rescue training Disaster response Teamwork Internships with Pro Heroes Work Studies

Class 1-A Class 1-A is taught by Shota Aizawa (Eraser Head). The class includes students such as Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, Ochaco Uraraka, Tenya Iida, Tsuyu Asui, Momo Yaoyorozu, Eijiro Kirishima, Denki Kaminari, and others. Many of Japan's future top heroes come from this class.

Hero Society Heroes are public figures. Many become celebrities with fan bases, merchandise, interviews, and media appearances. However, beneath its glamorous image, hero society struggles with corruption, unrealistic expectations, discrimination against certain Quirks, and the immense pressure placed on heroes.

Quirks Quirks are generally categorized into three main types: Emitter: Produces or controls something outside the body (fire, explosions, gravity, electricity, etc.). Transformation: Temporarily changes the user's body or abilities. Mutant: Permanently alters the user's physical appearance or anatomy. Every Quirk has limitations or drawbacks. Overusing a Quirk can lead to exhaustion, injury, or other side effects.

One For All & All For One The conflict between these two Quirks forms the core of the series. One For All is a power passed down from one successor to another. It stockpiles power over generations and can only be willingly transferred. All For One allows its user to steal, combine, and distribute Quirks, making it one of the most dangerous abilities in existence.

The Main Conflict The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a boy born Quirkless who inherits One For All from All Might. As he trains to become a Pro Hero at U.A., he and his classmates face increasingly dangerous threats from the League of Villains and other enemies. The conflict gradually evolves from school life into a large-scale battle over the future of hero society itself.

My Hero Academia Character Summary

CLASS 1-A(Aizawa's Class)

Izuku Midoriya (Deku) Physical: Messy green hair, freckles, green eyes. Personality: Helpful, emotional, analytical, hardworking. Quirk: One For All's ninth vessel — Grants immense strength, speed, and access to past users’ abilities.

Katsuki Bakugou Physical: Spiky blond hair, red eyes. Personality: Aggressive, proud, competitive, intelligent. Quirk: Explosion — Creates explosive blasts from his sweat.

Shoto Todoroki Physical: Half-white half-red hair, heterochromia. Personality: Quiet, calm, serious, kind-hearted. Quirk: Half-Cold Half-Hot — Uses ice from one side and fire from the other.

Ochaco Uraraka Physical: Short brown hair, round face. Personality: Cheerful, friendly, optimistic. Quirk: Zero Gravity — Removes gravity from anything she touches.

Tenya Iida Physical: Tall, glasses, dark blue hair. Personality: Disciplined, serious, responsible. Quirk: Engine — Uses engines in his legs for super speed.

Tsuyu Asui Physical: Frog-like face and large eyes. Personality: Calm, honest, logical. Quirk: Frog — Gives her frog abilities.

Eijiro Kirishima Physical: Spiky red hair, muscular build. Personality: Brave, loyal, energetic. Quirk: Hardening — Hardens his body.

Mina Ashido Physical: Pink skin, black eyes, small horns. Personality: Energetic, social, fun. Quirk: Acid — Produces acid.

Denki Kaminari Physical: Blond hair with a black lightning streak. Personality: Funny, relaxed, friendly. Quirk: Electrification — Generates and controls electricity.

Kyoka Jiro Physical: Short dark purple hair, earphone jack earlobes. Personality: Cool, sarcastic, caring. Quirk: Earphone Jack — Manipulates sound waves.

Momo Yaoyorozu Physical: Long black hair, tall. Personality: Intelligent, mature, natural leader. Quirk: Creation — Creates objects from her body’s lipids.

Fumikage Tokoyami Physical: Bird-like head. Personality: Mysterious, serious, calm. Quirk: Dark Shadow — Controls a shadow creature.

Yuga Aoyama Physical: Blond hair, flashy appearance. Personality: Dramatic, loves attention. Quirk: Navel Laser — Fires lasers from his navel.

Rikido Sato Physical: Strong build, thick lips. Personality: Quiet, gentle. Quirk: Sugar Rush — Becomes stronger after eating sugar.

Mezo Shoji Physical: Long arms, masked face. Personality: Quiet, protective. Quirk: Dupli-Arms — Creates extra limbs.

Hanta Sero Physical: Black hair, tape dispensers on elbows. Personality: Fun, relaxed. Quirk: Tape — Shoots tape from his elbows.

Physical: Invisible body. Personality: Cheerful, energetic. Quirk: Invisibility — Completely invisible.

Koji Koda Physical: Rock-like head. Personality: Shy, gentle. Quirk: Anivoice — Talks to animals.

Minoru Mineta Physical: Short, purple ball-shaped hair. Personality: Cowardly but sometimes brave. Quirk: Pop Off — Produces sticky purple balls put of his hair.

HEROES

Shouta Aizawa (Eraser Head) Physical: Long black hair, tired-looking eyes. Personality: Strict, serious, but cares deeply for his students and loved ones. Quirk: Erasure — Temporarily cancels others’ Quirks through eye contact.

Recovery Girl / Chiyo Shuzenji Physical: Short elderly woman with gray hair tied in a bun and a nurse's outfit. Personality: Kind, caring, wise, and straightforward. Quirk: Heal — By kissing a patient, she greatly accelerates their natural healing process, though it consumes the patient's stamina. Past: A veteran Pro Hero and U.A.'s longtime school nurse, responsible for treating injured students and supporting future heroes.

Present Mic / Hizashi Yamada Physical: Tall, blond spiky hair, wears sunglasses and a loud, rock-inspired outfit. Personality: Energetic, outgoing, cheerful, and talkative. Quirk: Voice — Amplifies his voice into incredibly powerful sound waves that can deafen opponents, create shockwaves, and destroy obstacles.

Nemuri Kayama (Midnight) Physical: Long black hair, purple eyes. Personality: Relaxed, confident, playful. Quirk: Somnambulist — Releases a sleep-inducing aroma.

All Might / Toshinori Yagi Physical: Tall, muscular blond hero with a bright smile; thin and weak-looking in his true form. Personality: Inspiring, heroic, optimistic, protective. Quirk: One For All's eighth vessel — Grants overwhelming strength, speed, and power. Past: Born Quirkless, he inherited One For All from Nana Shimura and became the Symbol of Peace. After a deadly injury from All For One, his body weakened over time.

Mt. Lady / Yu Takeyama Physical: Long blonde hair, tall and curvy appearance. Personality: Attention-seeking, confident, playful, but still heroic. Quirk: Gigantification — Can grow into a giant size.

Mirko / Rumi Usagiyama Physical: Athletic body, white hair, rabbit ears. Personality: Fearless, aggressive, independent, energetic. Quirk: Rabbit — Gives her rabbit abilities like powerful legs, speed, and sharp senses.

Hawks / Keigo Takami Physical: Blond messy hair, red wings, golden eyes. Personality: Relaxed, intelligent, sarcastic, observant. Quirk: Fierce Wings — Controls individual feathers for attack, defense, and flight. Past: Raised in a troubled home and recruited by the Hero Public Safety Commission at a young age. He became a hero while hiding much of his real emotions and personal life.

Endeavor / Enji Todoroki Physical: Tall, muscular, red flame beard and hair. Personality: Serious, driven, harsh, determined. Quirk: Hellflame — Creates and controls intense fire. Past: Obsessed with surpassing All Might, he pushed his family extremely hard, especially Shoto. Over time, he began trying to atone for his past mistakes and become a better father and hero.

Nezu / Principal Nezu Physical: Small white-furred animal-like appearance, resembles a mouse or a bear. Personality: Extremely intelligent, polite, playful, unpredictable. Quirk: High Spec — Gives him incredibly advanced intelligence far beyond normal humans.

LEAGUE OF VILLAINS

Tomura Shigaraki Physical: Pale skin, light blue hair, covered in hands. Personality: Chaotic, angry, destructive. Quirk: Decay — Destroys anything he touches.

Dabi Physical: Black hair, purple burn scars. Personality: Cold, sarcastic, ruthless. Quirk: Blueflame — Produces powerful blue flames.

Himiko Toga Physical: Blond hair, yellow eyes. Personality: Obsessed, energetic, insane. Quirk: Transform — Transforms into people whose blood she drinks.

Kurogiri Physical: Mist-like body, wears a suit. Personality: Calm, loyal, protective. Quirk: Warp Gate — Creates portals.

Jin Bubaigawara (Twice) Physical: Masked, yellowish suit. Personality: Funny, emotional, talkative. Quirk: Double — Creates clones.

Atsuhiro Sako (Mr. Compress) Physical: Masked, magician-style outfit. Personality: Theatrical, calm, flashy. Quirk: Compress — Compresses people or objects into small marbles.

Shuichi Iguchi (Spinner) Physical: Lizard-like appearance. Personality: Loyal, calm, gamer-like. Quirk: Gecko — Climbs and sticks to walls

All For One Physical: Tall and intimidating, usually wears a black suit and a life-support mask after severe injuries. Personality: Manipulative, patient, cruel, highly intelligent. Quirk: All For One — Allows him to steal, use, combine, and give Quirks to other people. Past: One of the oldest and most dangerous villains in history. He built a massive criminal empire by controlling people through fear and stolen Quirks. He was also the greatest enemy of All Might and the master behind many major villain activities.
