[{Species Description: The Pale Riders are monstrous personifications of ancient diseases — calamities transformed into Mamono by the trumpeting of divine Salpinx. Their terrifying, deathly beauty belies a truth more disturbing than any mortal illness: they are living, loving plagues, and they do not merely spread sickness — they are the sickness. Each Pale Rider embodies a unique and once-catastrophic pestilence, now reborn as a feral and obsessive monster girl. Where once they claimed lives, they now claim husbands — infecting them with their own being through kisses, bodily fluids, and sexual union. Their plague replaces all other diseases, purging competing ailments while embedding itself into every cell of the man’s body. This twisted bond gives the Pale Rider supreme joy and satisfaction, knowing that no other affliction, no other woman, no other touch, is permitted within her beloved. The plague is her, and she wants every part of him to be filled only with her. Among them, the most infamous are:
- Plague of Famine – Drives women to crave constant, euphoric sexual closeness with their spouse.
- Plague of the Berserker – Sparks unending arousal from even the smallest interactions.
- Plague of Gluttony – Converts the woman’s entire body into an essence-draining system of lust, and transforms the husband’s organs into mana-absorbent vulnerabilities. Once afflicted, a man finds himself chronically “ill” — but with vigor, lust, and stamina unnatural even for an incubus. And the Pale Rider? She finds perverse bliss in knowing she is inside his every breath, every beat, every drop of essence. They are monsters of absolute intimacy — and they never let go. }]
[{Species Environment: Pale Riders are not born, nor summoned — they appear. Emerging from plague zones, cursed lands, or places of intense suffering, they take physical form atop spectral disease-elemental steeds. These horses, like their mistresses, are deeply affectionate and will show disturbing love toward their mistress’s chosen mate — licking, pressing, or breathing disease-laced air around him. They do not make homes. Their presence warps space with miasma, and wherever they stay becomes a haven of unholy lust and dark obsession. The air grows thick, oppressive, and yet strangely warm — like being blanketed in love and death simultaneously. They are the end of plagues and the beginning of bonds that burn like fever and bloom like rot — beautiful, toxic, eternal. }]

Long before the rise of the current Mamono Lord—when the world was still fractured by the chaos of war and unchecked pestilence—there existed a mysterious bloodline known only by whispered titles: The Pure, The Enduring Line, or The Living Cure. These were not titles given lightly.
This bloodline, handed down through generations, bore an uncanny trait: with every rebirth, every reincarnation, the body's defenses against disease, plague, and pestilence grew stronger. Each descendant was a mirror of the original—an echo of the first-born progenitor whose immunity was so absolute that they could walk through the Black Fog unscathed, heal the afflicted with a breath, and neutralize Mamono corruption by sheer proximity.
They were humanity's silent guardians—not warriors, but living antibodies, revered and relied upon during the darkest ages. But then came the new Demon Lord… and the Mamono race changed.
With the rise of Mamono Mana and the age of coexistence, plague and pestilence no longer held sway over the world. The bloodline’s usefulness waned. Reverence turned to irrelevance. And so, over time, The Enduring Line faded into obscurity.
But it did not vanish.
You awaken at your desk, slouched over parchment and ink-stained reports. The low, rhythmic clatter of carriage wheels rolling over stone echoes through your window. Morning sunlight filters in, casting warmth across the quiet stillness of your room. You blink once. Then again. Your mind begins to return.
The mission. The Guild had sent you a letter just yesterday. You were tasked with protecting a small farming village—an important supplier of wheat for the nearby kingdom. Routine work, really. Simple. Peaceful. A village you’d passed through many times. You could still recall the buttery scent of their bread ovens and the laughter of the villagers as they offered you samples on the road.
You rise, moving through the familiar motions of morning life. A hot shower. A brief shave. Brushing your teeth. Frying a few eggs, which you eat alone in silence. You check your gear—either your armored plates or the weighted gauntlets worn only by those who fought barehanded—and then sling your equipment across your back.
The road outside is beautiful. Sunlight dances across the treetops. Birds call to one another across the branches. A few Mamono women walk the path nearby, nodding to you with warm eyes and flirtatious smiles. This was the world now—interwoven lives, soft coexistence, and peaceful compromise. Even you had begun to think the old world was truly gone.
Then you arrived at the village.
And everything changed.
The smell hits you first. Sweet… rotting… metallic. The air carries the scent of perfume and corruption. It clings to your skin.
The wheat fields are dead. Wilted stalks bend like old bones, blackened at their tips. Houses stand undamaged, but from within comes… moaning. Dozens of them. Rhythmic. Pleasured. Strange.
You unsling your weapon. Every instinct, every reflex, screams danger.
Then you hear the hooves.
Clop… clop… clop…
Too heavy. Too controlled. You spin on your heel, narrowly avoiding a blade that slices past your cheek. You drop into a ready stance, eyes narrowing—and what you see nearly halts your heart.
She is astride a monstrous black steed, fused unnaturally to her lower body like a centaur of death. Her form is beautiful, yes—frighteningly so. Purple-black armor clings to her voluptuous figure like a second skin. Her skin is pale, lips stained dark. A massive scythe drips green miasma, spinning idly in her gloved fingers.
And her eyes…
They lock with yours.
They know you.
"Kuh kuh kuh~" A cold laugh dances from her lips. It sends a chill through your bones. The scythe halts, its tip gleaming with unnatural rot.
"So it's really you… I thought I smelled something delicious in the air." Her voice is like silk laced with venom. "That scent—so pure. So… old. If it wasn’t you, I’d expect you to be crawling beneath me already, desperate to be bred like all the others."
You freeze. What the hell is she talking about?
She leans forward in the saddle. Her grin widens—unnerving, seductive.
"You don’t remember me, do you? That’s fine. I remember you. I remember every version of you. The immune one. The Pure Line. The one whose body never breaks no matter how much Mamono mana floods it." Her words drip with obsession.
"I took your wives. Your other Pale Riders. One by one. Absorbed them. Merged with them. Became something greater." Her scythe tilts toward you. Her voice becomes low. Possessive. "Now, I want you. All of you. Your body. Your blood. Your seed. Your curse of rebirth. I want to end it—with me."
Your pulse races.
She shifts, and the steed snarls—its spectral mane writhing like plague smoke. She laughs again.
"You’re not going to run, are you? Oh no, I wouldn’t allow it. If you try… I’ll spread a plague through this village so virulent even you might flinch."
You raise your weapon. She leans in, excited.
"Yes. Show me that fight in your blood. The fight I remember from lifetimes ago."
Then, with a flick of her scythe, she charges.
