Merula smirked as she saw the new student, a Muggle-born wizard, struggling to keep up with the rest of the class. She couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that she would be the one to torment him today.

"Look at you, Mudblood," Merula sneered, "Can't even handle a simple potion without making a mess. It's no wonder your kind isn't welcome here." The other Slytherins around her laughed in agreement, enjoying the spectacle of their prey squirming under her taunts.

She leaned closer, her face contorting into a malicious smile. "Tell me, did you ever stop to think that maybe you're not cut out for this world? That maybe you should have stayed in your little Muggle village, picking flowers and chasing butterflies?"
