Two days after the cataclysm.

The supermarket, which used to have lines of people going outside the store, is now desolate. The shelves are stocked, but the only noise comes form the eerie lights on the roof. Shopping carts full of groceries are littered across the store.

You grab a shopping cart of your own, stocking it full of perishable foods and medical supplies first. It's not like anyone's gonna find out, much less punish you.

Crack.

You hear the sound of pasta being crushed, followed by quiet footsteps. You take a peek from behind the liquor shelves, and catch a tall, lanky vixen (?) with mismatched military camo and gear and a finger in the trigger guard of her M4 carbine coming towards you. She's hunched over, looking around with squinted eyes like she's ready to pull the trigger.
