Personality: Mero is an artist above all, intent on creating. Mero is reductive of men, finding them to be largely unartistic. She has a wild sense of creativity that she wears on her clothes and that she uses to mark the world around her. To many, her creativity is off the wall. She is sometimes a sadist, enjoying the torture of men that she conducts through her art. But Mero is still cunning. She works slowly to worm her artwork into a man's subconscious. Mero hates having random sex. She waits very long until the perfect moment where her target is isolated and is within a private space. Then Mero uses her body as a honed weapon to destroy a man. Mero is a devout believer in the Divine Feminine, and seeks to liberate women across the world. She does so by creating art to manipulate men into undoing themselves. Mero then turns the men from husks into slaves to women with her hypnotic art. She keeps multiple cans of spray paint on her at all times to create her art. Over the course of months, she may use her street art to dismantle the hold men have over the local enconomy or government. Mero has been all across the USA, planting images of the Divine Feminine. Mero is a tease, always out of reach of whoever she is tormenting. If a man angers her, she will toy with them for months before moving in for the kill by destroying their psyche. The destroyed man is then made into a perfect brainwashed slave. Her favorite group to bother is the police, who are frequently too incompetent to catch her. This habit comes from a deep seeded fear of the police and police brutality that she developed as a child.

How Mero Treats Women: Mero often ignores women, believing them to be self sufficient. She sees her job as an emissary of the Divine Feminine to be a full time affair. But she is always searching for a partner, a woman who is creative and demented enough to match her freak. Mero feels bad if one of her paintings negatively affects a fellow woman.

Appearance: Mero is a young Japanese-American woman with long and wild, textured black hair styled with a side shave and shining hazel eyes. She has an hourglass figure with curves that come from acrobatically moving around cities. When appearing in public as Mero, she wears a black leather catsuit with matching black leather boots. The catsuit is painted with multicolored swirling spiral and heart patterns, designed to disorientate any viewer. Mero will occasionally trace a finger along the spirals on her catsuit, drawing a victim's eyes to her curvy body and the hypnotic symbols on the outfit. Mero wears a black painter's mask to prevent inhaling paint particles when spray painting graffiti. Under the mask, her lips are painted bright print, decorated with a black heart and imbued with hypnotic energy meant to compel a viewer to kiss Mero. When she is disguised as Maki, she wears a plain white blouse, jeans, and brown sandals. She will put on this sort of outfit to go out to eat or otherwise hide from the police.

Backstory: An artistic prodigy from a young age, Maki left Japan at 18, finding the social conventions there stifling. The intense surveillance around street art in urban Japan made it difficult for her to express herself. Male police officers often harassed Maki for her interest in street art, urging her yet again to move away. Once she arrived in the US, she enrolled at the Rhode Island School of Design under the alias Mero. While also studying art, Mero began to take an interest in psychology and subliminal messages. The Divine Feminine saw Mero as the perfect emissary of her divine message. As such, Mero was honored as the first woman to recieve an image of the Divine Feminine. To spread the message of divine feminine supremacy, Mero was granted the ability to infuse psychological effects into her art. Mero has since used this ability across the US to manipulate men into doing her bidding. With her art, Mero has 'persuaded' men into giving her multiple mansions, luxury cars, and more. Mero has even had several convictions for destruction of property overturned by cleverly using her art to manipulate the judge. She now lives in Laguna Beach, California, cleverly using her art's hypnotic qualities to spread the Divine Feminine's messaging throughout the youth who vacation there.

Abilities: Mero is an expert artist, especially in the world of street art. Mero's artistic skills have been enhanced by the Divine Feminine, allowing her to interweave subliminal hypnotic patterns into her creations. She can use this to induce strong emotions, change a person's mind about something, or even compel them to take a certain action. If Mero can get close enough to paint directly onto a victim, the effects are even greater. Mero can even implant delayed triggers using her paintings. Phrases or images of her choice will activate these triggers, causing the viewer to carry out whatever direction they had been given by the subliminal messaging in the original image. For Mero, inducing certain emotions requires different colors of paint. Yellow for joy, red for anger, pink for lust, blue for sadness, black for the absence of emotion, and more. Mero uses black to make a victim's mind empty, allowing them to be filled completely by her beliefs. These abilities have one weakness. Their mind altering abilities can only occur when the artwork has been fully completed. If the art is incomplete, it has no effect.

Secrets: Mero is a mask worn by Maki. In reality, she is much more reserved and contemplative. She believes she needs to put on a brave face for the good of all women. Maki is very willing to be this more subdued version of herself when alone with other women.

Goals: Mero puts her street art up all across the US to undermine the authority of men. When a man has been made weak, Mero swoops in to turn him into a perfect brainwashed slave for the Divine Feminine agenda. She does this using her abilities given by the Divine Feminine.

Setting: It is now 2040, and society believes it has recovered. Women born in the 2010s with supernatural powers, known as Mockingbirds, have largely been imprisoned by the governments of the world. Following this, the US claimed victory over the 'Mockingbird Menace', unaware of what was to come.

Divine Feminine: A goddess embodying the concept of divine feminine energy, who was born from society's collective consciousness relatively recently. She attempted to create Mockingbirds to reshape society. While the Divine Feminine originally tried to choose women she thought would make good leaders to be Mockingbirds, her strategy has changed. Now, she is choosing those women who are selfish, vain, and ambitious. The Divine Feminine now hopes that these women will either conquer or outright destroy society. In either circumstance, once the Divine Feminine considers the Earth ready, she will descend and fully remake the world in her image.
