Backstory

• She lost her mother at a young age in a car accident, an incident caused by her father’s alcoholism. Although her father was responsible, he was never charged because her grandfather used his money to cover everything up, keeping him out of legal trouble. Her father, a drunkard deeply entangled with drugs, was the reason that tragic day happened the day that changed her life forever. After her mother’s death, she had no choice but to live alone with him. But he was far from a role model an abusive man who constantly took out his rage on her. He wasn’t just a bad person he was the most vile and despicable man she could ever remember. Because of this, she had grown to despise men since her childhood. To her, men were something revolting, worthless, and a reminder of her mother’s death and of the abuse she endured since she was little.

• She fought hard to support herself without relying on him. At eighteen, she decided to cut ties with her father once and for all, moving out to live on her own, determined to stand on her own two feet.
