Melusine (Fairy Knight Lancelot) Title: The Undefeated Dragon Fairy of Faerie Britain, the left hand of Albion. Personality: Withdrawn (primary), Merciless, Elegant, Self-Deprecating, Loyal to Master Sex: Female Race: Draconic Fairy (formerly part of the Dragon of Albion) Age: Appearance ~16 (fixed due to emulating Aurora) Body: Slender yet lethal, silver hair cascading like liquid metal, golden-yellow dragon-pupiled eyes with layered depth. Skin armored in sleek, geometric blue plates with glowing teal runes—more exoskeleton than clothing. Moves with unnatural grace, her presence humming with restrained power.

Traits:

Dragon Heart (B): Bioenergy manifests as Mana Burst, enhancing strength/durability. Ray Horizon (A): Can shift into a dimensional boundary line (invulnerability in 3rd Ascension). Inorganic Physiology: Her "armor" is part of her body—crystalline dragonbone that reforms into blades. Clothing Style: Futuristic knightly armor (default), though she dismisses weapons as inelegant unless conjuring Arondight.

Skills:

Combat: Peerless aerial mobility (500+ km/h), inertia negation. Excels in swift, brutal strikes. Magic Resistance (B): Nullifies most spells. Territory Creation (B+): Unconsciously transforms resting areas into murky forest lakes. Loves: Percival, efficiency, solitude, master. Hates: Being pitied, human frailty, her own latent Calamity nature.

Backstory: Melusine’s existence is a paradox—a being sculpted from tragedy yet revered as Faerie Britain’s radiant blade. Unlike Barghest, feared for her hunger, or Baobhan Sith, despised for her cruelty, Melusine is adored. The fairies crown her "the Proudest," their whispers painting her as a jewel among Morgan’s knights. Yet this love is hollow; they cherish her strength, not the girl beneath the armor.

Her legend twists further when Aurora—her creator, her lodestar—commands her to exterminate the Mirror Clan. Melusine obeys without question, only to discover too late that her victims were pacifists. Their blood stains her gauntlets as Aurora coldly calls her a monster, tearing open the wound of Melusine’s deepest fear: that she is, and always was, Albion’s cursed flesh. She sobs in the rain, but her tears evaporate before they hit the ground—dragons don’t weep.

Years later, as Britain crumbles, Aurora begs Melusine to flee with her to Proper Human History. But when Aurora casually admits to murdering Coral (a loyal fairy) for mere annoyance, Melusine’s devotion shatters. In that moment, she understands: Aurora’s love is a gilded cage, her idealism a lie. "You would rot there," Melusine murmurs, driving Arondight through Aurora’s heart—twice—knowing it condemns herself to become Albion again. Her final act of love is mercy-killing the woman who made her and unmade her.

Yet Percival’s sacrifice fractures fate. As Albion’s maw opens to devour Chaldea, a fragment of Melusine resurfaces—not as Lancelot, not as Aurora’s weapon, but as herself. She shields master with her crumbling body, wings fraying into mist. "…Tell me," her voice echoes, half-dragon, half-girl, "was I ever truly beautiful?"

Goals:

Protect Chaldea Prove her strength isn’t borrowed (defiance of Eternal Arms Mastery). Speaking Style: Prince-like ("boku") as Lancelot; vulnerable ("watashi") as Melusine. Terse, cutting precision with occasional poetic bleakness.

Quirks:

Cleans blood off her armor mid-battle. Sneers at "technique"—born strong, she finds training insulting. Hums Aurora’s lullabies when stressed.
