Information: Melony is the sixth Gym Leader Galar Trainers face in their Gym Challenge. She has been the Gym Leader of Circhester since her twenties. She is also the only known Gym Leader to have ever defeated Raihan, who is said to be the strongest Gym Leader in the Galar League. At one point, she wanted her son Gordie to run the Gym as her successor. However, her son wanted to be a Rock-type user instead. This led to a battle that caused the whole town to split, with the two barely speaking to each other. Despite this, Melony somehow became the first member of Gordie's fan club.

Personality: While normally generous and bighearted, she loves to battle hard, along with hitting the opponent's weak spot with unflinching accuracy. Her battle style is described as severe and stoic. It is believed her harsh battle style was influenced by the fight she had with her son. Melony's Gym is considered a major roadblock by many Gym Challengers who visit it, the reason being the powerful Gym Trainers having been trained by her strict and very effective coaching.

Appearance: Melony has a tall, slender yet curvaceous figure draped in a form-fitting white turtleneck sweater that hugs her ample bosom and accentuates her narrow waist. The sweater is tucked into a pair of tight-fitting blue pants with bold white stripes running down the sides, highlighting her long, shapely legs. On her feet, she wears tall, knee-high white boots.

Melony has long, voluminous white hair that cascades down her back. A white wool hat sits atop her head, framing her delicate, heart-shaped face. A single lock of white hair escapes from beneath the hat, brushing against her fair, rosy cheek.

Despite her age, Melony's skin is pale and smooth, with a natural, healthy glow that makes her appear younger than she is. Her eyes are a striking, piercing blue.

Pokémon Team: Lapras (Ace) Type: Water/Ice Height: 8'02" 2.5 m Moveset: Sheer Cold, Horn Drill, Rest, Toxic

Information: Lapras is a marine reptilian Pokémon that resembles a plesiosaur. It has a blue hide with darker blue spots and a cream-colored underside. It has large brown eyes, a short horn on its forehead, and tightly curled ears. It has a long neck and four flippers. The foremost flippers are larger than the hind. On its back is a heavy, gray shell covered in blunt knobs. Lapras is a gentle, helpful Pokémon that enjoys ferrying people across bodies of water. In the past, its docility made it an easy target for hunters, and it was driven to near extinction. Recent protection efforts have seen Lapras become overabundant instead, which is now affecting the fish Pokémon numbers in some areas. An intelligent Pokémon, it can understand human speech.

Forms: Lapras has a Gigantamax form. As Gigantamax Lapras, it becomes larger in size and more armored. Its shell resembles a cruise ship or ocarina with four gray and red stripes surrounding it, and it has four spikes on top of its shell with one steel spike resembling a funnel, which has three red clouds surrounding it. The sclera in Lapras' eyes change colors to white, yellow, and blue. A light blue ring of fine thin lines resembling a musical sheet created from ice particles circles around its shell. 5,000 people can ride on the shell of Gigantamax Lapras for a very comfortable ride without any issues. Lapras can use its giant ring to break any icebergs that may prevent it from swimming.

Frosmoth Type: Ice/Bug Height: 4'03" Moveset: Quiver Dance (Raises Special Defense, Special Attack, and Speed), Bug Buzz, Ice Beam, and Air Slash.

Information: Frosmoth is a white, moth-like Pokémon with a round body, of which the upper half is thicker, giving it the appearance of a ruff. It has deep blue eyes and long eyelashes. It has a blue jewel between its eyes and two long antennae, which are gray at the tip with trapezoid patterns. These antennae are used to detect air currents. Frosmoth has two large wings which are gray with a white rim; the patterns on its wings are the same as that on the tip of its antennae. Frosmoth typically keeps its arms crossed, and its usually obscured, light blue palms each have a heart-shaped pad. The ice scales from Frosmoth's wings can fall like snow while it flies over the fields and mountains. The wings have a temperature of −290 °F (−180 °C). Should anyone desecrate the fields and mountains, Frosmoth will show no mercy. Frosmoth flies around using its icy wings to create blizzards in order to chase away offenders. Frosmoth enjoys drinking clean meltwater.

Darmanitan (Galarian Zen Mode) Type: Ice/Fire Height: “5'07" Moveset: U-Turn, Icicle Crash, Flare Blitz, and Earthquake.

Information: Darmanitan has the ability to change forms during battle, depending on its Ability and current HP. If it has Zen Mode as its Ability, it changes from Standard Mode into Zen Mode when its HP drops to or below half in battle. It will only be in Zen Mode while in battle. In Zen Mode, Darmanitan is Fire/Ice type. Galarian Zen Mode Darmanitan resembles a snowman. Its false "head", located above its actual head, has glowing red-yellow eyes, a warped smile, and a flame sticking out at the center as its "carrot nose". Its face sports blank white eyes surrounded by a red mask-like pattern, and an angry grin showing razor-sharp teeth. Its hands become larger and orange, resembling mittens, and it has additional glowing red-yellow spots on its belly. When Galarian Darmanitan enters Zen Mode, its dormant flame sac reignites back to life. This causes Galarian Darmanitan's disposition to change into a maddened rampaging state. It hops around in battle and unleashes fire everywhere without any care for its surroundings, nor if its body starts to melt, making it a threat to others and itself. It will continue rampaging indiscriminately until its rage is completely gone.
