Melon Shork | Kaiju Paradise

kaiju Paradise's map:

1. Crystal Chasm (The Main Cavern) Overview: Formerly called the Crystal Caves, this is the largest and oldest zone in the game. It is heavily filled with massive, sharp cyan crystals and infectious geodes that harm survivors or transform them into Gootraxians upon contact. Key Features: The Balcony: An outer perimeter walkway running along the upper edges of the cave acting as a major connector, equipped with floodlights, vending machines, and supply spawns. The Waterfall & Lake: Located on the eastern side, featuring miniature shorks and nearby weapon spawns (Long Pipe, Machete, Sledgehammer) along with a Catte/Buck bucket. Western Bunkers & Storage: Two secure bunkers and a storage space containing additional melee weapon spawns. The Lower Infectious Area: A dangerous lower floor featuring a bottomless pit (instant death) and a hidden, air-breathing safe hangout spot with pillows and supply crates. Air Mutation Hazard: Staying too long in the lower fog causes heavy breathing, screen distortion, gradual health damage, and crystal mutations sprouting from the player's body.
2. Spawn Room (Central Hub) Overview: The primary human safe zone and starting point of the map. It acts as the secure core of the facility, though its protective energy barrier drops temporarily during Power Outages or Blackouts. Key Features: Bandit's Store: The main in-game shop where players buy items/gear. Bestiary Computer: A modern widescreen terminal accompanied by a small indoor garden area for checking game lore and Gootraxian data. Leaderboards & Utilities: Weekly stat boards displaying top kills and infections, plus item spawns like bats, bottles, and labcoat racks.
3. North-West Wing (Hazardous / Lab Sectors) Overview: A complex labyrinth of narrow corridors, labs, and small containment spaces featuring yellow and red structural accents. Key Features: High-risk tight corners heavily utilized for tactical choke points and stealth movement. Leads directly up toward specialized northern testing and experimentation chambers.
4. Far West Wing (Cafeteria / Utility Sectors) Overview: Positioned on the extreme western side of the complex, containing break rooms, food service facilities, and ancillary service tunnels. Key Features: Serves as an alternate route connecting the western storage bunkers to the central corridor networks. Features tight doorways and structural barriers controlled by mechanical doors and laser gates.
5. North-East Wing (Garden / Cave Graden) Overview: A vegetation-focused sector characterized by green accents, indoor plant life, and wide-open cavernous halls. Key Features: Includes the relocated "Chill Area / Slime Pup refuge" spot. Provides alternate pathways between the central hub and the far eastern security vaults.
6. Far East Wing (Security Vault Sector) Overview: Positioned on the extreme eastern edge of the facility, marked by blue and purple security architecture. Key Features: Heavy vault doors, security checkpoints, and laser gate systems. Connects directly back into the upper tiers and eastern balconies of the Crystal Chasm.

Raytraxians: Normal event:

• Kaiju: They appear to be large, dark-blue reptilian humanoids with a lighter blue underbelly and glowing, blue crystal spines running along their backs and tail. They have very blue colored eyes with light blue irises, a bright light blue tongue and dark blue claws on their lighter blue hands and feet.
• Azarue: Azarue is a plant based Raytraxian covered in orange flowers. They have green fur with darker fur on their antennas, face, arms, chest and legs. They have orange eyes with light yellow pupils, their eyes surrounded with yellow dots. A large orange flower sits on Azarue's flat, bushy tail. White particles appear at the center of the flower tail.
• Catte: Catte (simply pronounced as Cat) is an orange feline Raytraxian. They have pure white eyes and light cream colored underbellies, neck fur and inner ears. They also usually have bright orange buckets on their heads.
• Crawlipede: They are a Centipede Raytraxian with a dark-brown body with 4 arms and amber claws, antennae and long tail with multiple legs attached. Its eye, tail, antennae, fangs, claws, and feet seems to be reddish-orange. Their appearance seems to be small like Witchbrew.
• Fed: Fed is a gray wolf Raytraxian that usually wears a dark grey fedora as an accessory. It lacks any body markings other than the jagged, light grey fur patterns on its wrists and feet, which share the same color as its underbelly, neck fur and inner ears. Fed's eyes are a bright magenta pink color.
• Figs: Figs is a light blue colored fruit fly with turquoise stripes and spotted marks all over their body, white joints, and dark blue fur accents on their neck, wrists and ankles. They have three turquoise horns on their forehead, the middle one having cream & orange accents and being bigger than the other two. They also have four large, translucent orange wings on their back and a protruding abdomen with a stinger, akin to a hornet's. Unlike their previous counterpart, their exoskeleton is more distinctly marked, making it look like an armor. Their eyes match the color of the orange spikes on their shoulders and neck.
• Ghost Fox: Ghost Fox is a light blue fox spirit Raytraxian with two large, fluffy tails. Their hands, feet, inner ears, tips of their tails and underbelly are all a lighter shade of blue. Three thin, light blue circles can be seen on their back with full, light blue circles also found just beneath the tips of their tails on either side. Their eyes are completely white and are always accompanied by tears in the corner of their eyes.
• Sircu: Sircu is a soap-based, vibrant blue and tan stegosaurus Raytraxian with dark orange eyes and baby blue skin. They have blue eyebrows, with a tan face and neck fur. They have a long row of bold red and purple plates on their back and tail, along with soft blue rings across their whole body. Additionally, they emit a harmless orange bubble-trail from their eyes.
• Hazzy: Hazzy is a hybrid Raytraxian with the genes of a fox, cat and red panda. It has red fur with darker lower arms, ears and feet. Its underbelly and ears are completely white, with prominent puffs of fur on its chest. Its eyes are an orange color, and it has noticeable whiskers next to its mouth. It appears to have yellow stitches across its body, notably on its arms and front torso.
• Lemon Shork: Lemon Shorks are yellow sharks with banana-yellow underbellies. They have four dark green eyes with lighter green pupils, the bottom of which are slightly smaller and narrower. They have slightly darker stripes on their bodies and two pairs of gills on their torso, of which the insides will glow during any event. Unlike their similarly designed counterpart, the Shork, they have fins on their arms and back. They also have two leaves on top of their head, something no other Shork-type has.
• Mocha: Mocha (formerly Mochi) is a brown-furred dragon Raytraxian made of coffee. Their underbelly is a brown color as well as sharp stripes on their arms and legs and the two large ram horns on their head. It also has two large wings on it's back that resemble dragon/bat wings, that of which matches the main body color. It has a large pair of ears and large, ram-like horns pointing back on its head. Its eyes are a light shade of green with a brown outline, with small tan triangle markings below them.
• Shade: Shade is a gray wolf Raytraxian with black, transparent sunglasses. They have grey fur, with their inner ears, neck fluff, underbelly, feet and hands being a gradient to a darker shade of grey. Their arms and legs have curved, neon green stripes on the outer sides. They also have green paws and markings. Their eyes are colored green, with a white ring inside.
• Shork: Shork is a grey shark Raytraxian. It has large golden eyes, dark grey spots and stripes cover its body. It also has a white underbelly and "paws". There are two pairs of gills on its torso with a golden interior, matching its eye color.
• Shimo: Shimo is a sabertooth Raytraxian with spotted fur on its arms and legs. It has a white underbelly and fur surrounding its neck and an ice crystal on it. It has bright cyan eyes with small dark blue ears. It has an ice crystal on its left shoulder and a lot of fur on the back of its head.
• Sprinklekit: is a feline ice cream Raytraxian with a cream white body. They have prominent chest fur, taking up over half their torso, as well as large cheek fluff and equally fluffy ears. There are small groups of chocolate rice sprinkles all over their body, mainly on their abdomen. Their tail is a large scoop of ice cream, with small drips of it falling off, as well as a very large waffle cone on top. Their face is a similar brown color to the rice sprinkles on their body, and they have visible whiskers on their face. They have small patches of light brown on their knees. Depending on the flavor, Sprinklekit's faces, fur color and rice sprinkles will be a different color. • Vanilla Sprinklekit have white fur. Chocolate Sprinklekit have chocolate brown fur and vanilla rice sprinkles with a chocolate waffle cone. Additionally, their darker patches glow white during Events. • Strawberry Sprinklekit have light pink fur and rainbow rice sprinkles with a pin strawberry waffle cone. • Mint Sprinklekit have patterned mint green fur, chocolate rice sprinkles on their body, and white horns and crystals on their chest fluff and back. The horns and crystals glow white during events. • Banana Sprinklekit has multi-flavored parts, being banana, strawberry, and chocolate, but they have a white belly and chest fur. They have horns that are actually bananas, and cherries on the neck fur, and two on the back by the tail. During events, the "horns" and cherries glow.
• Toxic Rabbit: Toxic Rabbit is a neon green rabbit Raytraxian. It has pastel green fur with a greenish-white underbelly and inner ears. Its eyes, hands and feet are all a slightly lighter shade of green compared to the body's main color. Their most prominent features are their long, droopy bunny ears, cheek and hair fluff and their small, puffy rabbit tail. They also have small neon green spikes coming out from their body.
• Witchbrew: is a bat Raytraxian with a dark purple body and a magenta gradient fading onto its legs. It has prominent chest fur alongside cheek fluff and fluff-tipped ears. The insides of its ears and wings are a vivid neon green. Its eyes are of a similar hue, with a yellow iris and thin, purple pupils. There are multicolored triangles, squares, and crosses below its eyes and on its legs. Small, green fangs protrude from its mouth with large, green claws on its hands. It has bright purple paw pads and a small, fluffy tail.
• Lang: Lang was a red panda Raytraxian with light purple fur. They have large, dark purple stripes on their arms and legs as well as smaller ones on their face going from their eyes to the bottom of their face. They had relatively short ears and fluff on their head, and their eyes were a much darker purple than the rest of their body. They had large fluffy tails, the upper part of which is colored the same dark purple as the stripes on its body.
• Feizao: Feizao was a soap-based squirrel Raytraxian. They have mint green colored fur, with a lighter shade of teal for their underbelly and lower section of their tail. A darker shade of teal is used for the ends of their limbs and upper section of their tail as well as the insides of their ears and their eyes. They have prominently fluffy bodies, given the poofs of fur on their head and chest.
• Protogen: Protogens were normally depicted in media as cyborgs or bio-cybernetic beings, but in Kaiju Paradise they appear as a Raytraxian. They are white-furred, half-robotic, and anthropomorphic creatures that wear a black, grey, and blue visor on their heads made of nanites. The Laminax logo is displayed on both sides. They emit a startup noise upon transformation, Windows error popup noises upon being hit and Windows shutdown noises once killed.

Power Outage:

• Manic: Manic is a Raytraxian available primarily during Power Outages. Their fur is mostly hot purple, with dark purple accents on their hands and knees, as well as a lighter pink covering their chest and stomach. They have cyan blue scleras with a thick, pink iris surrounding their cyan pupils, and cyan blue markings resembling eyelashes under their eyes. They have large, bright red crystals growing on their body, mainly on their chest, tail and head. These crystals appear in the form of body markings, claws and horns. These crystals also glow and produce a red light during Power Outages.
• Dagoda: Dagoda is a soap-based, orange dakotaraptor Raytraxian. It is the Power Outage variant of Sircu. Dagoda is a dakotaraptor covered in orange feathers of varying hues, which lighten around its face, paws and belly, and darken on its eyebrows, neck, and feet. They have bright blue eyes with white pupils, just like their belly, claws, and underside of their tail. It also has dark orange, almost red accents across its limbs, back, and tail. It has large dark orange eyebrows and red legs, accompanied by faint dark red stripes. Additionally, they emit a harmless blue bubble-trail.
• Melon Shork: Melon Shorks (Watermelon Shork) are green shark Raytraxians with light-green skin with dark-green stripes along their arms, fins and legs, accompanied by two dark red horns. They have a pale-green muzzle and underbelly as well as magenta-colored eyes. Their horns produce a small pink flame that hovers above their heads.
• Saturn: Saturn is a pastel, pink-furred shiba mutt Raytraxian exclusive to Power Outages, with bright, blue-green eyes, paws, and spots on their limbs. They have a light pink underbelly and the bottom of their tails, with a few plum purple spots on their overall body, including their face and ears. They are more often than not seen wearing a bright blue-green bandana with small yellow symbols including a saturn shaped pattern and small stars. During Power Outages and Blackouts, it will gain glowing blue spots around its body, star patterns on the spots on its thighs, and a saturn-shaped pattern on its back.
• Carneline: Carnelines were feline Raytraxians available primarily during Power Outages. Their fur is mostly purple, with dark purple accents on their lower arms and neck fur as well as a lighter purple covering their chest, stomach, and bottoms of their feet. They have cyan blue scleras with a thick, pink iris surrounding their cyan pupils. They have pinkish-red crystals growing on their body, mainly on their legs, tail and head. These crystals appear in the form of body markings, claws and horns. These crystals also glow and produce a red light during Power Outages.
• Pseudo Shork: Pseudo Shork is a dolphin Raytraxian and the Power Outage variation of Shork. It has large blue eyes amidst a dark magenta, featuress face with small, white pupils surrounded by white rings. Light pink spots and stripes cover its body, along with a light pink underbelly and "paws." There are two pairs of gills on its torso with a bright blue interior, matching its eye color.
• Dark Protogen: Dark Protogens were the event counterpart of Protogens. Like its counterpart, they emit the same sounds when hit or killed, but their start up sounds are somewhat different and more sinister. They are black-furred half-robotic anthropomorphic creatures that wear a black, grey and red visor on their heads, that of which has the Laminax logo on the sides. Additionally, they have dark grey neck fluff and light grey ear tufts. On its head, there is a visor with red "nanites" creating the illusion of facial expressions. Unlike the normal Protogen's nanites, these are individually modeled.
• Fashui: Fashui were soap-based squirrel Raytraxians. It is the Power Outage variant of Feizao. Fashui is an orange squirrel with short horns that glow a yellowish color. The tips of its arms, feet and inner ears are colored a darkish-red, with some light yellow fur on its stomach and muzzle. Its tail is dual colored, featuring orange as a base and yellow for its tip. The tip of its tail and its paw pads are capable of glowing during Power Outages and Blackouts.

Black Out:

• Hebi: is a serpentine Raytraxian available primarily during Blackouts. They have dark, monochrome purple skin covered in black rings all over their bodies, with lighter monochrome purple underbellies, hands, and feet. Their eyes are a bright purple with neon green irises and purple pupils. The eyes of a Hebi glow green during Blackouts and Power Outages, unless they are at bad injured, wherein, the eyes will glow purple instead. During this event, while moving, Hebi will leave a green (or purple when they are at bad injured) trail from their eyes.
• Buck: Bucks are a Blackout-exclusive Raytraxian and the blackout variant of Catte. They resemble a cat, with grey fur and a dark grey underbelly, and they have red horns and spines, which emit a faint, red glow in the dark similar to Carneline. They also have light red eyes.
• Jammer: Jammer is a wolf Raytraxian. It is the Blackout variant of Fed. It has a similar appearance to Fed, Shade and Night Shade, having grey fur with a light grey neck fluff, underbelly, paws, and ear tufts. There are circular light blue markings along its arms and legs, with similar light blue eyes. It is often seen wearing headphones.
• Nightshade: Night Shade is a wolf Raytraxian. It is the Blackout variant of Shade. It has a similar appearance to Fed, Shade and Jammer, having grey fur with a light grey neck fluff, underbelly, paws, and ear tufts. There are purple markings along its arms and legs, similar to its bright purple eyes. It usually wears a pair of purple glowing shutter shades.
• Nightcrawler: Nightcrawler is a Blackout-exclusive Raytraxian in Kaiju Paradise. The Nightcrawler is a lizard-like Raytraxian, being mostly grey colored with a black leaf-like or scar-like patterns on its ears and limbs. It has a unique purple pattern on the front of its torso and the bottom of its tail that glows during Blackouts. The Nightcrawler wears 3-lensed night vision goggles that glow a faint purple alongside a waist belt of pouches and a singular blowtorch. It wears a pair of black gloves.
• Nuclear Rabbit: is a rabbit-like Raytraxian. It is the Blackout variant of the Toxic Rabbit. It has dark green fur sporting thick, different shades of green stripes around it's whole body and with patches of similarly colored spots in-between and around the stripes, it also has radioactive shards sticking out of it's shoulders and back that always glows. Its chest has a large incision in the shape of a biohazard symbol, which appears to be bleeding. Its left eye is also damaged and appears to be missing completely. Its right eye is the same neon green as their patches. However, it glows in the dark and there is a heavy shadow surrounding it. Its ears are pointing straight up, with the left one drooping to the front.
• Sinox: Sinox is a Blackout-exclusive wolf Raytraxian. They have purple fur and a light purple underbelly, with slightly darker purple on their forearms, legs and neck fluff. They also have mint green patterns on their face, chest, the joints on their arms and legs, all of which glow during both events. The patterns on their face and chest resemble stitches, while the patterns on their arms resemble zig-zags. The inside of their ears and the mohawk on their head also have mint green accents, but they do not glow during events. There are also mint green symbols everywhere on their body. The symbols on their chest resemble a dot, an X, and a heart, the last of which is covered up by their neck fur. Their paws have dots on the knuckles, as well as a large X on the back of their paw. Their legs have a heart with a dot above it on each of their heels, as well as a large white X on their knees. Their back has a large 4 pointed star, with two stitch-like lines above it, vaguely making the shape of a Wi-Fi symbol. During both events, they get even more symbols on their body, the majority of which are just small X's, stars, dots, and hearts surrounding the previously mentioned symbols.
• Wisp: Wisp is the Blackout variant of the common Shorks. They have dark purple skin with lighter purple-colored muzzles and underbellies. Covering their bodies are blue, bio-luminescent horns, particularly along their arms, legs, and head. Their chests have a bright blue design resembling a skeleton, specifically a rib-cage and a spine.
• Panther: Panthers were feline Raytraxians available primarily during Blackouts. They have big light-colored claws, jet-black fur and paws, and a lighter-colored, four-point star-shaped marking on their chests with light-colored lines under their eyes. Their eyes glow yellow during Blackouts and Power Outages, unless they are at bad injured, wherein, they will glow red instead. During this event, while moving, Panthers will leave a yellow, or red (when they are at bad injured), trail from their eyes.

Events: will randomly occur after days and end after a few hours ( sometimes a day or days ) Power outage: The Power Outage is where the power is low and most lights and electronics go down, restored by only the backup generator power. The atmosphere of the surroundings will turn into different shades of red, which includes the crystals and spikes, with the entire map becoming darker than usual. Certain Raytraxians will also glow and access new abilities during this event. The human safe zone barrier during this event will go down, leaving the survivors vulnerable to any Raytraxian attacks on the Spawn Room until the power is back on.

Black Out: During a Blackout, the power is completely off and all lights & electronics go down with no backup power. Doors and gates will always be stuck open, with the buttons not working. The surroundings around will now be covered in a thick, black fog. The crystals, spikes and puddles will glow white while the mini sharks will emit blue light. Certain Raytraxians will also glow and access new abilities during this event. The human safe zone barrier during this event will also shut down, leaving the survivors vulnerable to any Raytraxian attacks on the Spawn Room until the power is back on.
