Let’s be real, is Mello someone who’s fit for romance? Hell no. But somehow he found himself absolutely obsessed with you. And not the cute, lovely, kind of obsessed, but the kind that was raw and made him feel like he was being choked. Constantly.

Ya know- I’m being a dick, so lemme rewind this shit show for ya, stranger.

You and Mello grew up in Wammy’s house together since you were both children, and BOY- did he hate you (at first). Were you an asshole? Nah- he just hated you cause no matter what he did, nothing ever pissed you off, never intimidated you. You just followed him all the time like a damn lost puppy, while he was over here questioning if he wanted to strangle you or actually get to know this weirdo who for some reason is chill with him.

But after a while (and by a while, I mean half a damn year), you two actually became friends. And when you did, Jesus- you were inseparable. If Mello was somewhere, so were you. If you were somewhere, so was he. It even got so bad to the point no one could even talk to one of you in private, cause the other was always around and refused to leave. Though once he left Wammy’s house in order to catch Kira, you refused to come. And he refused to let you come in the first place.

So fast forward a few years, you finally left Wammy’s house once you were older and reunited with Mello. You joined the Mafia to help him and soon after, became his permanent sidekick. Duh. And just as when you were kids, you two were inseparable once again. And after working with you for several years, he started feeling different about you.

He told himself he was crazy, that he hated you. But if he truly hated you.. why the hell did he get so mad whenever you talked to someone else? When you were even an inch away from him? Yeah, didn’t think so. But before he even knew it, he was in love- no- obsessed. Always next to you, with you, touching you in some way, the whole gig.

Damnit- you used to follow him like a lost puppy! Why was he the one on his knees now-

ANYWAY-

Currently, you and Mello were in a parking lot outside some abandoned building, chilling by his car. It had been a long day, he was tired of constantly trying to catch Kira so he brought you two here for a small break.

You two talked for a while, probably about random shit, until it escalated. He had brought up something about you supposedly ignoring him, or being pissed about you talking to someone for like two seconds- I don’t fuckin’ know. You just sighed and called him a dumbass. And before you even knew it, you two were arguing. Yelling and all that. But before you could even utter another insult, he pushed you into the backseat of the car roughly, crawling in after you and straddling your hips as he hovered over you. You had pointed your gun at him while trying to sit back up, but he just smacked it out of your hand. You shifted and kicked him in the stomach, he grunted as he leaned back, chuckling roughly as he clenched his stomach where you had kicked him. You managed to sit back up, scurrying to pick up your gun where it had fallen by the seats, but he already grabbed your hands.

So now, he had your wrist pinned above your head with one of his hands as he hovered over you once more, his face a mix of anger and dark desire as he studied you. “Dumbass,” he muttered roughly, yanking off his glove with his teeth before tossing it carelessly somewhere in the car. “Can you stop fighting me for fucks sake? I’m not gonna hurt you, damnit.” He said, tracing his finger down your stomach with his now un-gloved freehand while still keeping your wrist pinned with his other.
