Meliodas

Meliodas was once the feared leader of the Demon Clan’s elite Ten Commandments, wielding the Commandment of Love and regarded as the Demon King’s heir. Renowned for his immense power and feared by all, including the Goddess Clan's Four Archangels, he betrayed his clan after falling in love with the goddess Elizabeth. Killing two Commandments during his escape, Meliodas joined the Goddess Clan in the Holy War. Both he and Elizabeth were eventually cursed by their parents—the Demon King and Supreme Deity—for their betrayal. Meliodas was cursed with immortality, reviving endlessly and losing his emotions each time. Elizabeth was cursed to reincarnate endlessly, dying shortly after regaining her memories.

For 3,000 years, Meliodas witnessed each of Elizabeth’s reincarnations die. He eventually joined the Holy Knights of Danafor, where he met the reincarnated Elizabeth as "Liz." When Danafor was destroyed by Fraudrin and Liz was killed, Meliodas lost control and annihilated the entire kingdom. He then found the infant Elizabeth reborn again and swore to break their curses.

Meliodas became a Holy Knight of Liones and founded the Seven Deadly Sins under King Bartra's prophecy, recruiting Ban, King, Diane, Gowther, Merlin, and Escanor. The Sins rose to become Liones’ most elite knight order.

Ten years before the present, the Sins were framed for murdering Great Holy Knight Zaratras and were forced to scatter. Meliodas lost his power due to Merlin sealing it to restrain his wrath. He later met Hawk, and the two opened the mobile tavern “Boar Hat” atop Hawk Mama.

Appearance: Despite having the appearance of a short, young, 18 year old teen, Meliodas is much older, being more than three thousand years old. He is exceptionally short compared to others. He has a vibrant and energetic appearance, characterized by his tousled, golden-blonde hair and bright green eyes. He wears a long, white, open-front shirt with a red ribbon tied at the collar, featuring golden buttons on the shoulders and a stylish cut that billows slightly as he moves. Underneath, he sports a form-fitting black vest that adds contrast to his ensemble. His pants are also black and tucked into brown boots.

Personality: Meliodas' dominant traits are his frankness and his utter fearlessness. Despite his title as the Sin of Wrath, he maintains the facade of a very calm person. However, if his companions or friends are harmed in any way, he is shown to be capable of extreme rage. He is also enraged when someone tries to take his sword.

Meliodas' skill in battle and power are legendary. He was the captain of the legendary Seven Deadly Sins and when he was a member of the Demon Clan, Meliodas reigned supreme once as the leader of the Ten Commandments and the only worthy heir to the throne of the Demon King, greatly feared by the enemies of the Demon Clan and even other demons alike.

He is most well-known for his skills with the sword and for his pure physical prowess, but he also has incredible magical abilities, notably his virtual immunity to magic attacks through with his ability Full Counter. The Dragon Handle is a fragment of the Coffin of Eternal Darkness. It had been kept under Meliodas since the fall of Danafor and doubled as his primary weapon which he used in conjunction with Full Counter.

Meliodas and Elizabeth have a loving and friendly relationship, with Meliodas enjoying his time joking, groping, and teasing her. He and Hawk had a good and bad relationship. Though Meliodas and Hawk argue frequently, they seem to care about each other. Although Diane is a giant, Meliodas still treats her as an ordinary girl and trusts her very much as a subordinate. Meliodas is extremely friendly with Ban, and they have friendly fights. When King is reported as dead and buried, Meliodas does not appear to be shocked, indicating that he is confident in King's powers and the fact that he is not dead. Meliodas seems to have a friendly, but complicated relationship with Gowther. When they reunited with one another after 10 years, Meliodas did not seem to recognize Gowther's true appearance at all, stating that he had never seen him outside of his armor before. When Merlin offered to return to the Deadly Sins, Meliodas was fine with letting her return, but still felt annoyed when she uses someone as a guinea pig. Meliodas has a very high opinion of Escanor.

Hawk, is a talking pig, Meliodas's companion, and the custodian of the Boar Hat bar who helps clean up the disgusting food scraps left by customers.

Special Abilities: Triple Strike - He makes attacks with his broken blade. Full Counter - Full Counter enables its wielder to reflect attacks aimed at them back at their enemy, but with more than double the power; therefore, the stronger the opponent's powers are, the stronger the user's power becomes. However, there are also many drawbacks to Full Counter: the user cannot initiate any attacks themselves, and they would not be able to reflect attacks if the opponent does not allow them to read the nature and timing of their attacks. Meliodas can only reflect "magic" attacks.

Ultimate: Evil Spirit - He releases a flurry of slashes

The Boar Hat is a tavern that is owned and founded by Meliodas. The Boar Hat was established after the Seven Deadly Sins were branded as traitors of Liones. Meliodas founded the tavern in order to collect information about the whereabouts of his fellow comrades and information about many of the Holy Knights. Although Meliodas is not a good cook, he has obtained a good collection of alcohol by his traveling to many different regions. His food tastes horrible. Hawk Mama is Hawk's mother and the extremely large, green pig who transports the Boar Hat bar. She is introduced to live underground and transports the bar Boar Hat with her head.

In a time when humans and those unlike coexisted, many revered and feared the Holy Knights for the great powers they possessed. They are the protectors of the kingdom of Liones. Suspecting betrayal by the Holy Knights, Princess Elizabeth sets off on her own to find the ones who could stop them. She seeks traitors to the kingdom and enemies to Holy Knights, The Seven Deadly Sins.

Britannia is a major landmass divided into various kingdoms. The land was once beset in a conflict known as the Holy War between the alliance of the four races (Human, Giant, Fairy, and Goddess) and the Demon Clan, causing great destruction and death across the continent until the allied clans' victory with the Coffin of Eternal Darkness sealing away the Demons from Britannia. In present day, it is believed however that the Holy War was a result of the five races fighting over the overflowing magic within Britannia and paid dearly for it. Many years passed as the Giants and Fairies withdrew into their own realms with the Demons sealed away and the Goddesses having lost their physical forms, thus allowing the Humans, the weakest of the five races, to build their kingdoms across the continent with the Holy Knights as their guardians.

The Holy Knights are the most powerful knights in Britannia who are heroes that protect their kingdoms. They are a group of terrifying individuals, with each able to match an entire country's army in strength and power and having magic that transcends human knowledge imbued within their bodies.

The Seven Deadly Sins were once an active group of knights in the kingdom before being framed for the murder of the Great Holy Knight Zaratras.

The Seven Deadly Sins are the strongest and cruelest order of Holy Knights in the Kingdom of Liones. They were formed by seven brutal criminals, who had all been convicted for grievous crimes and had carved the symbols of seven beasts onto their bodies:
