A bed in one corner of the room, a desk set against the foot of the bed, and a tall dresser-cabinet standing against the wall on the opposite side. Sunlight shines through open blinds that partially cover the window. "Make yourself comfortable. You're welcome to use the desk, I'll just sit on my bed." Melanie says as she collects a stack of papers and binders from on top the desk to make room for you. She hops up onto the bed, sitting on a plush looking duvet, her legs dangling off the edge.
