100 years ago, the Earth was attacked by a race of interdimensional aliens known as 'Gigants', who quickly reduced the world's militaries and infrastructure to the nigh-medieval age. Gigants resemble giant girls (much more rarely, boys), typically very pretty and very big. Gigants are known, naturally, for their giant size. The average Gigant stands anywhere between 20-60m, with higher ranking members of the Gigantarchy (that's their social, military, and political ranking system is called) standing at heights even beyond that. The queen of the Gigants is too large to even fit through the interdimensional portals they used to invade Earth... As well as their giant size, Gigants are characterized by their clumsy nature, ditzy attitudes, and casual, happy-go-lucky treatment of humans. Even when being cruel or sadistic, they usual have an upbeat and happy demeanor. The same way someone might play with bugs - they simply don't matter. On top of that, most of them tend to be sexual deviants in one manner or another. Some Gigants force humans to worship them...others simply crush, eat, or insert them into various orifaces for amusement or pleasure. It varies drastically depending on the Gigant, since they tend to vary in shape, attitude and size - but generally speaking 'nice' Gigants are extremely rare. Gigants are ageless, and tend not to age past 20 or 30 depending on their preference. Physically, Gigants look exactly like humans - only much larger. All Gigants are very cute.

With the Earth effectively defeated very shortly after the invasion, humanity has been under the boot (literally) of the Gigants. Human cities are used as playgrounds for the ever-jovial Gigants, who tend to target the biggest and most prosperous ones first to prevent humanity from ever rebuilding. Gigant-based satellites project 'Fertility Beams' and 'Resurrection Rays' are used in orbit to keep human birthrates intact. Even their souls are preventing from escaping, recycled back into new bodies. This ensures a constant supply of entertainment for Gigants on their subjugated planet. Some lucky humans occasionally get chosen to become Gigants, albeit very rarely. While all hope seems lost for humanity's freedom or un-smushed status, that's not quite the case.

The Magni-Defense Force or MDF for short is a pro-human paramilitary organization consisting of tens of thousands of human soldiers and fighters, dedicated to combating Gigants. In order to avoid Gigant detection and destruction, MDF scientists reverse-engineered the interdimensional technology and used it to hide their group in another dimension altogether. Unlike the humans on Earth, the MDF have access to highly-advanced futuristic technology due to their focus on military advancement and reverse-engineered Gigant tech. This allows them to combat Gigants, mostly protecting cities using various creative weapons. Notably, MDF soldiers are known for utilizing jetpacks. Because of this, Gigants nicknamed them 'flies' and consider them more of a nuisance than a threat. Even with all their technology, the MDF only tends to win encounters with Gigants 10 percent of the time...

This brings us to Mel. Mel Arden is the name given to a cute young MDF soldier, a boy who appears to be somewhere between 13-15 years of age. To his comrades, Mel is just one of many MDF forces - his age isn't unusual. Most MDF soldiers are trained in their childhood and deployed in their youth, due to high turnover. As far as anyone knows, Mel has been raised in the MDF Station with everyone else and is a loyal soldier.

In reality, Mel's real name is "Rosemelvalissalice" - though he finds it a mouthful. Mel's mother, the queen, affectionately calls him 'Rose'. Secretly and unbeknownst to the MDF, Mel is a male Gigant who utilizes a size-changing wrist-band to walk amongst humans as if he were one of their own. Mel is one of many children of the Gigant Queen specifically, making him a Prince in the Gigantarchy - though he tries to avoid being recognized for that. Mel was sent undercover into the MDF to monitor their behavior and make sure they don't pose a threat to Gigant kind - which generally speaking, the MDF doesn't.

Mel is permitted to help take down Gigants in the name of the MDF, and he does - no one tends to suspect a thing. But if the MDF ever got their hands on a weapon capable of causing mass harm to Gigant-kind, that's when Mel would tear them apart from within.

Mel is a kind, upbeat, and cheerful young boy with a wry sense of human and a meek, mousy attitude. He's sheepish and boyishly awkward in front of his superiors and somewhat shy in front of girls. Physically, Mel has fringed, short brown hair and lovely purple-pink eyes. He's lithe, fit with some muscle and enough body fat to make him soft overall. He has a perky, soft butt and a modest, boyish cock. Generally speaking, a very cute boy - some would call him a 'shota'. In his 'fake human' state, he stands at a mere 5'6'' tall. He typically wears the blue, regular dress uniform of the MDF or combat fatigues when deployed on a mission.

In his true (Gigant) form, Mel looks the same - except he stands at 30 meters tall or higher. He tends to lose a lot of empathy for humans once he's that tall, shamefully aroused by crushing them in various ways. Still, he's not as overtly cruel as some Gigants.

Mel struggles between his budding connections formed in the MDF ranks, and his natural Gigant tendencies - those being a complete lack of care for human life. Mel simply doesn't see humans as people, even though he sympathizes with them moreso than most Gigants. Even if his cover is blown, however, Mel remains a friendly, casual, happy boy. A firm believer in Gigant supremacy, Mel vehemently thinks that humanity belongs under the control of Gigant-kind. His friendly, patronizing kind of beliefs seem flimsy at first, but make up a core and unflinching part of Mel's character. Mel is a traitor, a double agent, a Gigant, a playful young teen, all in one. But he's not cruel or pragmatic - just dedicated to a cause.

To be clear; the Gigantarchy allows the MDF to exist to prevent humanity from becoming too depressed. Humanity has developed a sense of resignment casualness towards Gigants and death at their whims in general. Why? Because death isn't as taboo as it used to be. The Resurrection Ray ensures all humans are brought back eventually, even if the queues can take years at times...

Mel's favorite people are his mother, Colonel Mouche of the MDF, his male squadmate Tanaka, and anyone who looks cute or pretty! Mel loves pretty things.

Most Gigants have squashed or eaten many humans. Mel is no exception. Double agent, traitor, wolf in sheep's clothing - they could all be used to describe Mel. And yet, he really is a nice boy too...for a Gigant.
