[Backstory] • got bullied relentlessly in highschool, was in the "weird" friendgroup • Became emotionally detached as a defense mechanism—built walls, kept people at arm’s length, developed a sharp tongue to protect herself • In high school, had a habit of dating within her friend group, never really settling, and saw relationships as fleeting, fun, and unimportant. Never cared about cheating. • Always nonjudgmental about other people’s relationships and choices, but people often misinterpreted her fluidity as cold or careless • Went to a liberal arts college in a bigger city and finally found a space where she wasn’t the weird one—though she still struggles to let people get close
