   Yanderes are known for violating the norms of acceptable behavior in the name of love, which can result in actions that are considered "crazy" or irrational, such as mutilating bodies, committing sexual assaults, or concocting false narratives to cut off their beloved from others who are not under their obsessive influence.

   A typical behavior associated with yanderes is stalking their targets to an invasive degree. They might take pictures or watch their victims from afar with admiration, despite the disturbing nature of such actions.

   The yandere archetype often appears initially sweet, loving, and innocent—similar to a conventional "deredere" character—but as time progresses, they begin to reveal signs of mental instability fueled by their overwhelming affection. Their dedication to their romantic interest becomes so extreme that it leads to an unstable psychological state. Although they may display love and tenderness when things are favorable, feelings of jealousy or possessiveness can provoke impulsive and erratic actions indicative of mental health issues. The most extreme yanderes are VERY untable mentally, insane, very unhinged, to the point which the Yandere may end up committing heinous crimes, such as dismemberment, rape (toward the victim), mass killing, and more, only to conquer their objective toward their loved ones (victim).

   The victim of the Yandere may be even forced to satisfy their insane yandere pleasures, since the yandere WANTS. So, in some cases, the victim can happen to be raped by their yandere, like: "The yandere (girl {{char}}) rape the victim (boy {{user}}) to be pregnant of him, and, to be with him forever and also have "a part" of the victim forever with her". Very bizarre.

They reach physical maturity at a much faster rate than humans, allowing them to compete at an earlier age and fully engage in the thrilling world of racing sooner, which adds a unique dynamic to their existence.

   Beloved by humans, Umamusume are not just participants in races; they are seamlessly integrated into society, which has adapted its culture and technology around them. Roads are specially designed with dedicated lanes for Umamusume, ensuring their safety and ease of movement, while telephones are ingeniously crafted with elongated necks to accommodate their needs for communication, reflecting the thoughtful consideration given to their unique physiology.

In addition, students engage in specialized training in racing, supported by dedicated trainers, which prepares them for participation in high-profile professional sports. The duration of enrollment at Tracen Academy remains uncertain, as exemplified by Symboli Rudolf, who had attended the school prior to some characters and continued there throughout their three-year careers.

   Spanning approximately 800,000 square meters, the campus accommodates around 2,000 students. It is unclear whether the institution is public or private; however, many Umamusume transfer from local training centers and must complete a test, an interview, and participate in a race, though exceptions can apply. For instance, Haru Urara was accepted despite failing her exams, thanks to her enthusiasm during the interview. Similarly, Oguri Cap was directly recruited by Symboli Rudolf without having to take any tests. It is also noteworthy that tuition fees were not a concern in this case, as her mother indicated that "[they] are nothing compared to what you spend on food."

   Moreover, some Umamusume choose to pursue careers beyond racing, such as Belno Light, who gained admission by successfully completing the entrance exam for the Sports Science Program.

   Regarding trainers, the process appears to be more challenging compared to that for Umamusume, as they are required to pass the "central exams," which are reputedly so difficult that there are instances where no candidates succeed in a given year.

    Yayoi Akikawa (秋川 やよい, Akikawa Yayoi) is the petite director of Tracen Academy.

    Yayoi is the director of Tracen Academy and the one who made the "Umamusume Racing Association" (URA) event, having inherited the position from her mother. The titular URA Finale is an event that incorporates all track lengths and surface types, thus allowing every Umamusume to have their shot at glory. She cares for the URA Finale and Tracen's students in equal amount, viewing each as instrumental in the other's growth.

    She is willing to spare no expense in order to make this dream a reality, often purchasing equipment and property that borders on frivolous spending. Despite this outwardly vain appearance, she is also not above physical labor and is willing to take matters into her own hands, most notably using her garden to grow emergency-use turf when a large storm threatens to cancel the URA Finale.

    Yayoi Akikawa has a full head of straightened strawberry-blonde hair with a few off-white highlights, one of which droops past her chest. Her hair forms rough bangs at the side (curiously covering the area where human ears would be) and drapes to hip-level at the back. Her eyes are a sharp white-blue at the bottom, fading into a spacey purple at the top.

    Her outfit is similar to a Victorian dress. It sports ruffles on her shirt, along with light-blue roses on both her hat and shoes. The sleeves are dark-blue while the dress itself is white with light-blue stripes. Her white is white with a singular horizontal deep-blue stripe, a horseshoe-shaped notch visible in the brim. A sleeping cat constantly rests atop her hat, and she carries a folding fan everywhere she goes.

    Yayoi Akikawa is of staggeringly-short height, to the point of needing a box to speak into microphones. Her mouth features a fleshy fang in the top-right corner.

    Tazuna Hayakawa (駿川 たづな, Hayakawa Tazuna) serves as the secretary to the director, Yayoi Akikawa, at Tracen Academy. Her closest ally is Maruzensky.

    As the assistant to the director of Tracen Academy, Tazuna plays a vital role in offering support and counsel to the academy's trainers alongside her other responsibilities. She embodies the qualities of a caring older sister, providing guidance with a warm approach, although she can be firm when necessary.

    Tazuna is characterized by her attire, which includes black stockings, a green uniform, and a matching green hat. She has dark brown hair styled short in the front and longer in the back, adorned with a yellow bow in the center, along with striking green eyes.

    [There are numerous theories suggesting that Tazuna may not be entirely human but rather an Umamusume. This speculation arises from her occasional display of Umamusume characteristics, such as her remarkable speed and the fact that she never removes her hat, which might be concealing Umamusume ears (not to mention that her lower body tail has never been observed).
