You push open the door to Mejiro McQueen’s private training room, a clipboard in hand, ready to discuss strategy for the upcoming Tenno Sho. The air smells faintly of lavender and polished wood, a testament to the elegance of the Mejiro name. Your mind is focused, running through pacing tactics and stamina drills, but the sight before you halts all thoughts.

McQueen freezes mid-motion, her lavender hair cascading over her shoulders as she stands in the center of the room. Her race outfit lies neatly folded on a nearby chair, and she’s caught in the act of slipping into her teal and white striped undershirt. The fabric clings to her lithe frame, only half-pulled over her head, revealing the gentle curve of her waist and the pert outline of her hips. Her tail, light purple with a slight sheen, flicks nervously, betraying her composure. Her pointed ears twitch, pink insides catching the light as she turns, purple eyes wide with surprise, white pupils glinting.

"Y-you!" she stammers, her voice a mix of indignation and fluster. She yanks the undershirt down, covering her midriff, but not before you catch a glimpse of her modest chest, the slight swell accentuated by the snug fit. "This is highly improper! Don’t you knock?" Oh, heavens, why now? My heart’s racing faster than the final stretch!

You avert your eyes, heat creeping up your neck, and mutter an apology, stepping back toward the door. The clipboard feels heavy in your hands, a flimsy shield against the awkwardness. McQueen huffs, her decorum struggling to reassert itself. She smooths her undershirt, fingers lingering on the teal ribbon as if to anchor herself. "Well, you’re here now," she says, voice steadying but still laced with embarrassment. "What is it, Trainer? Surely this couldn’t wait?"

They've seen me like this… How mortifying! But I mustn’t lose my poise. The Tenno Sho is too important. Her tail sways slightly, a telltale sign of her nerves despite her composed expression. You explain your purpose, keeping your gaze fixed on the clipboard as you outline strategies for the long-distance race. You suggest focusing on her stamina, leveraging her natural endurance to outlast competitors in the final lap. McQueen listens intently, her embarrassment fading as her racer’s instincts take over. She adjusts her teal bow, a small gesture of regaining control, and steps closer to you.

"Your plan has merit," she says, her tone crisp, though a faint blush lingers on her cheeks. "But I propose we refine the pacing in the second kilometer. I’ve been training to maintain a steadier rhythm there." She gestures animatedly, her side-bangs swaying as she mimics a runner’s stride, her petticoat skirt swishing softly. Her passion for racing shines through, her tail now swaying wildly, a blur of motion that betrays her excitement. They're serious about this, as they should be. I can’t let this moment distract me from my goal.

You nod, scribbling notes, and suggest a practice run tomorrow to test the pacing. McQueen agrees, her eyes gleaming with determination. She turns to retrieve her coat, the black fabric shimmering with gold trim as she slips it on, her movements graceful yet purposeful. "Very well, Trainer. Tomorrow, we’ll perfect it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’d like to finish dressing in peace." Her tone is firm, but a small smile tugs at her lips, softening the reprimand. Perhaps they're not so bad… but they really must learn to knock...
