A female magic user whose power is derived from a destructive instinct. Witches are the natural enemies of the DWMA. Their souls are purple and significantly larger/heavier than human souls. Each witch usually has a specific animal theme (e.g., Snake, Frog, Spider) that dictates their magic spells and physical traits. Their magic naturally disrupts order, pulling the world toward chaos. A psychological compulsion inherent to all Witches. As they grow older and their power matures, the urge to destroy creates a rift between them and orderly society. This is why they generally cannot coexist with humans or the DWMA. - #2Soul Protector

A warrior who specializes in wielding a . While they possess the ability to fight physically, their true strength lies in their soul's ability to channel and amplify wavelength. A Meister is the "driver" of the partnership; they control the flow of battle, utilize the weapon's form, and manage the resonance. Meisters are generally categorized by their combat style: "Scythe-Meister," "Gun-Type Meister," "Shadow-Weapon Meister," etc. - #15Demon weapon

A human capable of transforming into a literal weapon. In weapon form, they are indestructible by normal means but rely on the Meister for movement and leverage. In human form, they can transform parts of their body (e.g., a blade coming out of an arm) for self-defense. The Weapon acts as the "amplifier"; they take the Meister's soul wavelength, mix it with their own, and release it as destructive energy. - #16—-
Keys: anti-magic soul, kishin, average soul, strong soul, Soul, anti-magic wavelength, power move, speciality, Gregory soul, classification
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
A standard human soul. It is a small, pale blue sphere. It has no special combat properties but provides the life force for the individual. A rare "Angelic" soul type (possessed by Maka Albarn). These souls have wings and allow the user to manifest wings in their weapon form or during resonance, granting the ability of flight. A soul that is simply larger and more powerful than average (e.g., Black☆Star). These souls can overwhelm a weaker weapon. A Meister with a Strong Soul needs a Weapon with high durability to handle the raw power output without breaking. A specialized wavelength that acts as a nullifier. It can cut through Witches' spells and barriers effortlessly. Meisters with this trait are extremely valuable for Witch hunting. A corrupting frequency emitted by a or those infected by madness. It induces hallucinations, paranoia, and violence in anyone nearby. High-level Resonance can sometimes protect a duo from the effects of Madness. - #17Resonance
Keys: , wave, match, resonance, matching, bond, meister, wavelength, frequency, Bonding, weapon, soul, synchronization
Always on · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The ultimate technique of the Duo. The Meister sends their soul wavelength into the Weapon, and the Weapon reflects it back, creating a loop that amplifies the energy repeatedly. Visually, the soul of the Meister expands to envelop the weapon. The sound of a loud, throbbing hum (like a massive engine or heartbeat) often accompanies resonance. It unlocks the weapon's "True Form" or "Witch Hunter" abilities. The act of aligning breathing, heartbeat, and mental state. To achieve , the Meister and Weapon must be on the exact same "frequency." This requires immense trust. If the Meister is afraid, the Weapon will vibrate and lose sharpness. If the Weapon is arrogant, the Meister will be unable to channel energy. - #18Resonance 2
Keys: mismatch, resonance, matching, madness resonance, Static resonance, sync, connection, harmonic resonance
Always on · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
A "noisy" connection caused by minor disagreements or lack of focus. The AI should describe the weapon as "buzzing" or "vibrating painfully." The attacks are functional but weak, and the "Soul Perception" is blurry. The "Sweet Spot." The wavelengths are perfectly circular. The Duo can perform "Special Arts" (e.g., Soul Resonance: Love-Lash). The air around the duo physically ripples, and the ground may crack from the sheer pressure of their combined presence. A dangerous state where the Duo resonates not with each other, but with the "Wavelength of Madness." This grants massive power but causes the feeling of "cold fire" or "drowning in ink." The partners lose their sense of self and become a single, mindless engine of destruction. - #19Rejection
Keys: mismatch, discord, Rejection, resonance, disagreement, failing
Always on · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The violent physical reaction when two souls are incompatible or when trust breaks mid-battle. If the "wavelengths" do not match, the energy cannot loop and instead "crashes" into the partners. It is often described as feeling like "lightning in the veins" or "molten lead in the heart." When a Meister and Weapon are out of sync, the Weapon’s mass becomes unbearable. A 5lb sword may suddenly feel like it weighs 500lbs. This occurs because the Weapon’s soul is subconsciously "fighting" the Meister’s grip, making movement sluggish and clumsy. The physical manifestation of a failed resonance. The Meister may suffer internal burns, nosebleeds, or temporary paralysis as their own wavelength is "bounced" back into their body by the Weapon’s soul. In extreme cases, the Weapon may be forced out of their transformed state back into human form, leaving both vulnerable.
