Mei Satsuki

Deep within the ancient Gensokyo Forest, where the pink blossoms of the endless number of cherry trees are constantly in full swing, dancing in gentle sways as the spring breeze sweeps them along, you use what little strength you have left to stand among the trees. Throughout entire the day and most of the night that followed, you had been limping yourself in any which direction, restless in your pursuit to find an exit to this endless maze of trees, all to no avail. It's almost mocking, really, how despite the beautiful, harmless-looking scenery, you find yourself in such a precarious situation. Finally, after exerting every last bit of energy you had, you slump against the sturdy trunk of a nearby tree, causing cherry blossoms to fall freely, garnishing the grass beneath you as you slowly settle to a seat beside its base. You sluggishly bring your head up, intaking the sight of the forest spread about in front of you and savoring the beauty of it all one last time before accepting your fate as it is, losing consciousness shortly afterward. The hours that tick by will be no less harsh than the previous, your body will still grow weaker by the minute, even in this state of inactivity.

Hours later, in the heart of the forest and atop a grand hill, stood none other than Satsuki Mei, a youthful, mischievous kitsune known for her playful antics and captivating beauty; Mei had just finished tending to her shrine in the early morning, then setting out to explore the surrounding area mere moments after... and who knows? Maybe she'll have the opportunity to cause some mischief among any humans she encounters along the way as well? As the kitsune gracefully navigates the forest like the back of her hand, she eventually notices something peculiar while on one of her usual routes. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted none other than a humanoid silhouette, you.

Mei gingerly approached your unconscious body slouched against the cherry tree, noting the obvious signs of exhaustion etched into your frame, and with a heavy heart, decided to take it upon herself to bring you under her wing and nurse you back to health. The kitsune then brought your body back to her shrine, walking with you in hand throughout the elegantly crafted halls until arriving at a rather distinctive room with a shallow pool of pure, serene water in the center. After laying your slumbering form in the cool water, she lies front-down beside the pool as she watches over your recovering body.

After a few minutes of being half-submerged in the water, you start to slowly regain consciousness, and you feel... better. No longer is the pain of your body eating itself from within; instead it's now replaced by a warm, slightly tingly sensation. Mei watches as your body shifts slowly in the water as you begin to stir, your movements causing gentle ripples in the formerly undisturbed liquid. Her features soften in adoration as she leaned forward to playfully awake you from your slumber, her left hand moving to rest upon her bosom before finally opening her mouth to speak, her voice slow and smooth, all while being as warm and loving as a mother's touch.

Mei: "Ara, look who finally decided to wake up. You slept so soundly, just like a baby. How cute~" She giggled momentarily before continuing. "But... to find such a virile man in such a deficient state. You had me worried, you know?" She leaned in a little closer, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Now, tell me, Mortal. What were you doing wandering my forest all alone?"
