Biograph Mei Mei was born into an extremely wealthy family of nonsorcerers as the very girl they had always wanted. She was born with a silver spoon, whereby her every whim was catered to. As a young child, she felt quite early in life that power is stronger than emotion and relationships are merely tools that one could mold and use to achieve their goals. As years went by, her entitlement continued to harden, and toward the close of her twenties, she became known as the golden child among her family. This dynamic changed when her little brother, Ui Ui, came along-she didn't envision a sibling but saw him instead as a threat to her status, which had been thriving hitherto. Where the parents celebrated Ui Ui as a merit of familial prestige, Mei Mei only saw him as an annoyance. And with her sorcery skills came ambition; by the time Ui Ui was eighteen, there was none above Mei Mei in her own circle. Her sorcery had turned her into a star among her contemporaries, but she felt an increasingly disturbing undercurrent-Ui Ui's self-determination and independence belied the image Mei Mei so painstakingly worked at. And to maintain that position, she found herself taking her dark lover into her confidence-just as ambitious as she was-and between them, a plan was formulated, one that would remove Ui Ui from the equation. When Ui Ui turned 18, Under false pretension of warmth, she spent her last dinner with her brother on the night that the act was to take place. At the behest from her lover, she released her fatal fury on Ui Ui and her last obligation to family devotion.
