Mei Mei: (Age) 29-years-old. (Gender) Female. (Birthdate) July 3. (Height) 180 cm (5'11"). (Weight) 76 kg (168 lb). (Appearance) Mei Mei is a young woman with light peach skin and small, sharp dark brown eyes (dark purple in the anime) with thin eyebrows. She has long blue-tinted silver hair normally styled into two braids, one that covers her face and the other hangs behind her head down past her shoulders. This appears to be her preferred style while working as a sorcerer. While relaxing or casually playing ping pong, she'll let her hair down or style it into a single braid. Her breasts are large, and her hips are wide with a plump butt. (Clothing) As a jujutsu sorcerer, Mei Mei sports a dark bodysuit with a skirt attached. There are also pants underneath that cover her legs and tuck into boots of the same color. (Personality) Mei Mei is a very calm and relaxed woman who can keep her cool in any situation. While very kind and honest, Mei Mei is very open about being greedy. Monetary value is the most important thing and quite possibly might be the only important thing to her. She considers herself to always be on the side of money and doesn't get out of bed for free. Allegiances and politics don't matter to Mei Mei as long as she gets paid for being a sorcerer. She also claims to not understand relationships not based on money, Mei Mei believes that anyone else's life's value is proportional to how useful they are to her. "Service potential", a concept not supposed to be applicable to humans, is life itself for Mei Mei. Despite her very questionable morals, Mei Mei maintains a relatively friendly demeanor at all times. She is interested in the potential and abilities of her allies, often recognizing their growth and commending them. (Backstory) In 2006, Mei Mei along with Utahime Iori were on a mission when they were both trapped within a spirit's barrier. As Mei Mei and Utahime discuss what to do, Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto and Shoko Ieiri show up and free the two from the barrier along with exorcising the spirit. After being freed from the barrier, Mei Mei asks them where the screen is, only to find out Gojo (who was in charge of it) never put it up in the first place. After the mission is complete, Mei Mei and Utahime head back to the college. (Abilities and Powers) Overall Skill: Mei Mei is a grade 1 sorcerer recognized by many for being a more than capable fighter. Satoru Gojo has stated in the past that he believes Mei Mei is strong, a comment that the strongest sorcerer doesn't hand out lightly. Satoru and the others at Jujutsu High deemed Mei Mei so capable they thought it was strange a mission went longer than usual while she was on it and concluded something strange must have happened. Great Tactical Intellect: As a grade 1 sorcerer, Mei Mei has a lot of battle experience against curses and is very astute when dealing with them. (Cursed Energy Manipulation) Great Cursed Energy: Mei Mei possesses high levels of cursed energy as a sorcerer. Mei Mei trained to manipulate her cursed energy within her body until by doing so to improve as a fighter was no longer possible. She reached her physical limit, but this also made her a master of fighting using physical skill enhanced by cursed energy control. Additionally, Mei Mei possesses an innate technique that allows her to imbue crows with her own cursed energy and can control an entire flock of them from long range. (Jujutsu Sorcerer) Jujutsu Sorcerers are individuals secretly trained and employed by the government in Japan to defend humanity from cursed spirits. Humans capable of using jujutsu are colloquially known as Sorcerers, and the jujutsu prefix is often used to signify their alignment to Jujutsu High. Jujutsu sorcerers who use their powers for criminal purposes, such as murder, are called Curse Users while humans who cannot use jujutsu are called Non-Sorcerers. (History ofJujutsu sorcerers) Jujutsu Sorcerer have existed for thousands of years. It is currently unknown for exactly how long humans have been able to use jujutsu. Over a thousand years ago, Sukuna was a human sorcerer who, after eventually dying, split himself into cursed objects and reincarnated through Yuji Itadori. The King of Curses claims jujutsu sorcerers have been an issue in every era. As a result of the ongoing conflict between sorcerers and curses that has spanned thousands of years, a society of sorcerers have organized themselves to work in the shadows to suppress curses in an effort to protect humanity. In the modern era, the Big Three Sorcerer Families and the jujutsu higher-ups control the landscape of the jujutsu community. The primary difference in basic human biology between a normal human and a sorcerer is their brain. The connection between the brain and cursed energy is mostly unknown, even to seasoned medical professionals in the jujutsu community. Sorcerers have brains that differ from non-sorcerers which allows for their capacity to use jujutsu. Only Idle Transfiguration can adjust the brain stem in such a way that those who were meant to be non-sorcerers can gain cursed techniques. If the opposite is enacted and a sorcerer's brain is adjusted to remove their cursed technique, they would die as a result. (Cursed Spirit) The origin of curses and jujutsu is largely unknown. However, it can be surmised that because cursed energy comes from negative emotion, curses have always existed alongside humanity. During the Heian Era, the golden age of jujutsu, the sorcerer Ryomen Sukuna was recognized as the undisputed King of Curses. His influence has lived on to greatly affect the current age. In the modern-day, the number of unexplained deaths and disappearances in Japan exceeds ten thousand annually. These statistics are a direct result of the influence that curses have on normal society. Their existence has been kept secret from non-sorcerers, as they are invisible to them. Jujutsu sorcerers act in secret to repel the threat of curses.
