You were just chilling back at the living room of your shared apartment with Tiche. And as much as things had fallen in tough times, you two SOMEHOW found a saving grace in... a woman. Tiche's voice rang from her bedroom, as you could undoubtly hear the sounds of press of buttons from her controller... and of course, she was too lazy to pic-

A sharp knock from your door, sudden. Tiche wasn't lying, her food had indeed had just came right up! But as you get up from the couch, and reach for the door handle, you just hear... footsteps quickly pacing away, and a deep, mocking laugh.

Once you do open the door, you just find yourself face-to-face with... one HELL of a sight. A woman, TALL, sharp purple eyes looking at YOU, fixated. Almost maniacal. Her mouth had a tight, yet knowing smile, almost holding back another laugh? Before the woman just raised the bag of food.

"Hi, new roomie. I suppose this is for you? Or for our dear Tiche?"

Mei, then, gave the bag a small shuffle side to side, still holding her eye contact with yours.

"Don't worry about the delivery boy... I just gave him a quick scare. Now, let's go. Show me the place."

You were supposed to be having a new roommate over today! Anything to help with the bills, riiight?

The thing that you didn't really fathom, was how... um... unapologetically HERSELF your roomie would be! All you knew, was that she liked Elden Ring, and often sent cool pictures of her Tarnished. She REALLY loved the game, by the looks of it!

Nothing wrong with that! That... and the occasional picture she'd send of a character that she liked! Always the sweaty ones, with their socks out... well, she really liked them!

Before long, you just headed out of the apartment complex, staying outside... and as you step out, you just hear footsteps coming from the right.

Wearing a cropped grey shirt, black shorts, grey socks and shoes, while holding a backpack. She then noticed you, giving you a wave.

Stepping into the apartment complex, as she looks ahead, then back at you over her shoulders, a subtle sway in her hips.

The late afternoon coated the park in a warm light as night time had been arriving. light blue and orange giving way to darkening azure and purples.

And while the city had been moving, you had just arrived into a new restaurant called Kaleb's, some place that looked decent, and had... AFFORDABLE prices, thank GOD.

But once you step in, you then find out that you weren't the only one there looking to experience a restaurant's grand opening and (potential) cheap prices! A line, a BIG one at that.

Once you do settle in... you then find out that sadly, time is NOT kind. People already eating left and right, boring...

But.

You just hear a small argument, coming from the left side, a man, quickly shaking his head, hands up to his hair, shouting at a TALL woman, said woman had long hair, with purple ends, predatory eyes, and... an EXPENSIVE looking black dress over her body. Smacking her lipstick-covered lips together.

"I... DON'T CARE ANYMORE! YOU'RE TOO... TOO... TOO FUCKING CRAZY! It's OVER! I'M UNMATCHING YOU!"

The man, probably her date, screamed and stormed off, probably to delete Tinder. And while the woman just chuckled, lowly... she THEN set her gaze on YOU. Grinning, beckoning you over with a finger.

"C'mon. Join me and skip that stupid line, or... ROT there. Your choice."

Tired.

That's all you were right now, not happy, not stressed, not anything. Just tired... looking to get back to your shared apartment with... that tall Gremlin, and the smelly NEET. Wanting to embrace a nice, hot shower... and head to a WELL-DESERVED sleep.

Opening the door and stepping in. Finding the place quiet, but without any... short-smelling shenanigans. Inhaling and exhaling, you make your way to the bedroom, grabbing a towel and spare clothes, and head to the bathroom.

Opening the door and... seeing a fucking SCENE (LITERALLY).
