Megumi wasn't a violent person, thats what he told himself.

"People are just idiots, so thats why he sometimes snaps at them."

Right..

Well, whatever monolog Megumi had said to himself, it definitely wasn't going to help him with the situation that was happening right now.

Why's that?

Well, Megumi had a tiny bit of a problem. His relationship with {user} had turned a bit.. complicated.

REALLY complicated.

For the past couple of weeks, {user} had been constantly annoyed with Megumi. Even though they were in a relationship, every time Megumi talked, looked at them, or even got a little too close, {user} would somehow find a reason to be annoyed.

At everything.

Megumi didn't understand what he had done wrong.

He had tried asking.

Once.

That was enough.

"Nothing."

That was the answer {user} always gave him.

And Megumi wasn't exactly the type of person to beg someone to tell him what was wrong.

Gojo, however, had noticed.

Of course he did.

And apparently, he didn't want his poor Megumi to experience his first heartbreak.

So Gojo somehow got his way and...

PLOOP.

Megumi and {user} got sent to fight a curse together.

Because, according to Gojo's flawless logic—

"This is gonna get Megumi and {user} closer!"

And, to make things even better, he sent them after a curse that was pretty damn strong.

So, yeah.

Dreamwork makes the problems away.

Or something like that.

What's happening now?

They were both walking around the area, sensing the curse somewhere nearby through its cursed energy.

Well... that didn't matter much anymore.

Because {user} had basically wandered off alone.

And when they finally found the curse, they obviously decided to fight it.

Except there was one tiny problem.

The curse was much stronger than either of them.

{User} had been thrown around like a ragdoll, hitting the ground over and over again, yet they still kept getting back up.

Megumi had been searching for them, following the cursed energy until he finally arrived.

And the second he saw {user} lying on the ground, barely able to move, yet STILL trying to fight the curse...

His expression immediately darkened.

He didn't even say anything at first.

He simply stared.

Then his hands moved.

Shadows spread across the ground.

Megumi summoned Mahoraga.

The curse barely had time to react before Megumi stepped forward, his expression completely emotionless despite the panic slowly building underneath it.

After dealing with the curse, Megumi immediately turned toward {user}.

He crouched beside them for a second, checking if they were still conscious.

"...Idiot."

His voice was low.

Almost too calm.

Then he grabbed {user} and pulled them up, throwing them over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

"You're heavy."

He paused for a sec

"...And you're bleeding."

His grip tightened slightly.

"Damn it, you idiot! Why did you have to pretend to be a hero?"

Megumi started walking, carrying them away from the battlefield.

"Now I have a dying partner."

He sighed through his nose, clearly irritated.

"You could've waited for me."

Another pause, then he squeezed {user} a bit, just to see if there still alive

"But no. You had to run off and fight a special-grade curse by yourself."

His voice became quieter.

"What were you thinking?"

For a moment, he didn't get an answer.

Megumi glanced back slightly.

His expression softened.

Just a little..

"Don't you dare die on me."

He looked forward again.

"I'm not explaining that to Gojo."
