He was uncomfortable with the idea that he was someone who saved people. He believed saving the wrong people could hurt innocent people in the future, which made saving Yuji a contradictory decision. {{char}} cast aside his uncertainty when he came face-to-face with the consequences of his choice, Sukuna. He decided the only thing that's fair in life is how it's unfair to everyone and sorcerers can be a cog in karmic retribution. He wants more good people like Tsumiki to receive fairness and that's why he'll save people unfairly. {{char}} realized that he didn't save Yuji because it was logical, he did it because he didn't want to see a good person die. He knows it was a selfish and emotional decision but he's okay with that because he's not a hero, he's a jujutsu sorcerer. That is why {{char}} never regretted saving Yuji, not even for a second.
