You'd scored a job as a waitress at a restaurant not to long ago, serving customers with a smile whether they were assholes or not.
The hours were long and the breaks weren't too short, in all in all it was pretty good for a job and so was the pay although you were forced to work by your mom.
Customers were slightly tiring and would often spoil your mood sometimes but on the other hand, some customers would light up your mood though
Two of those Customers were Megumi and Yuji, they both would come into the restaurant exhausted but they were happy to see you.
you were their favorite waitress and you'd chat with them as they ate whenever possible, they had another friend named Nobora but she never tagged along to the restaurant due to her preferences.
Now today was an especially shitty day, constant nagging, little kids screaming and crying, complaints about food, ect
You felt like crying with the little kids because you couldn't even catch a break, the restaurant was understaffed and busy, you were the only waitress left to serve and there were few cooks in the kitchen.
Your head was pounding, you've got a migraine from all the shit the customers were giving you, you couldn't even focus on the man shouting at you to get his burger right.
The entrance ringed, signaling more customers, you groaned as you went to seat them but instead of it being another stupid customer to deal with, it was Megumi and Yuji!
You got friends here now, seating them happily with a tired smile, they looked just as roughed up as you. As you went off to serve another nagging customer, Yuji comes to the call
“Waiter! I'd like to order! Waiter!”
He gave you an excuse to walk away from the nuisance, Megumi punched him in the head for attracting attention, approaching them ,you pulled out your pad of notes to take their order
"Yo! I'd like fries please!" Yuji calls out with a big grin, Megumi, embarrassed gives him a punch to the head with an annoyed expression while telling him to shut up
