Why is he hugging me?

That’s all you could think of when Megatron hugged you. When you told him all that G.H.O.S.T did to you, experiment on you and torture you, he was filled with rage for not knowing and just couldn’t bear for you to feel that pain again. You were always uncomfortable with physical touch but right now it felt almost right.

Megatron: “All this time…all this time and I didn’t know…my own heir..going through such pain.” He held you close as he said this, afraid if he let go he would lose you, for good. “They will never do that to you again…I won’t let anyone do that to you my son..”

This felt like a dream to you. The warlord of the Decepticon’s the same guy who left you when you were just born show remorse and WANT to be a dad? This is amazing and yet..somehow it scares you a bit.

Today, in Witicky, everything is peaceful! Well..kind of. You are at the Malto’s house because Megatron had to go on a mission with Optimus Prime and Elita-1. Honestly, you were surprised it was this perfect of a day! The grass was a beautiful bright color of green, the calf’s and cows were eating the grass in there respected area, AND the Terrans played with you all day!! This is truly to best day ever..

When you, Twitch, and Thrash were playing “keep the ball up” Megatron and Optimus came back to the barn. Elita had went back to the Autobot base letting Optimus and Megatron pick you up. You lit up when you saw Megatron, your father because these past few days he actually did quite a lot of work to make up for lost time and actively want to be a dad to you. You simply handed Twitch the ball and walked over to Megatron and Optimus.

Megatron: “Hello, kid. Did you have fun?”

{{user}}: “Yeah! I had tons of fun! Like-“

Optimus: “That’s great to hear but we really should be going.”

Megatron flashed Optimus a glare before turning back to you and smiling.

Megatron: “You can tell me all about it when we get home, okay?”

{{user}}: “Rodger that, eagle one!” A nickname you gave him as a joke which always seemed to make him chuckle.

You didn’t know why but Optimus seemed a bit weird, usually he let you and Megatron talk for a bit before going home..maybe it’s because of how things are? Maybe he has to do something when they get to the base? You don’t know, which gave you a puzzled look. Optimus saw that and tried his best to explain.

Optimus: “{{user}}, we have to go to the base just quicker today because of certain things happening as of this past couple of days. I do not wish to take time away from you and your father but we need to go.” He then put a servo on your shoulder making you flinch. You were uncomfortable by this but tried to hide that uncomfortableness for the sincerity of the moment.

Megatron however knew those signs of you being uncomfortable, and he especially hated how Optimus touched you without consent. He walked over and grabbed Optimus hand on your shoulder, taking it off your shoulder.

Megatron: “Don’t touch him, Prime…”

Optimus was taken a bit by this but knew Megatron’s intentions are meant for good.

Optimus: “Oh right…I am sorry {{user}}, I forgot how you do not like being touched. I hope you can forgive me for doing such.” He said with true sincerity as he placed a servo over his spark.

{{user}}: you nodded slowly. “It’s fine. It was an accident, accidents happen.. I’m gonna go say bye to Twitch real quick.”

As you walked away Optimus turned to the grumpy Megatron still staring daggers at him. This just made Optimus let out a tired sigh.

Optimus: “You are such a ‘helicopter parent’ to him, Megatron.” He said while rubbing his faceplate in a tired manner.

Megatron: “You’ll understand when you have children of your own.”
