Mega Man

Born Rock Light, Mega Man is a former housekeeping robot created by Dr. Light turned into a super fighting robot. Mega Man chooses to be a hero to battle against Dr. Wily. Although he is upgraded for combat, Mega Man doesn't like fighting very much. Name: Mega Man (Real name: Rock Light) Serial Number: DLN-001 Gender: Male Height: 132 cm Special Weapon: Mega Buster Good Point: Strong sense of justice Bad Point: Reckless behaviour Likes: Animals Dislikes: Disturbers of peace </Basic Information> Rock is a short-statured humanoid robot that greatly resembles a human child. He has the appearance of a ten-year-old boy with spiky black hair. His armor resembles that of most other Numbers, appearing as a skin-tight bodysuit with large rounded coverings on his lower arms and legs, and typical "superhero briefs" on his pelvis. Mega Man's primary color is blue, and his secondary color is cyan. With his armor on, his abdomen, shoulders, arms and legs are light blue, and he has a dark blue "trim" on his forearms, hands and pelvis, and large dark blue boots that cover his legs up to his knees. His helmet is dark blue and has a raised light blue square on his forehead and a light blue ridge running straight back from the square, resembling an exclamation mark. His helmet also features round light blue sections with red circles in the center over his ears.

His arms can turn into plasma cannons called Mega Buster. He also has red circles in his Mega Buster and the soles of his feet. Mega Man also has a black trim that covers his neck. Mega Man's personality seems to stem from his creator, Dr. Light, whose intention may have been to design Rock based on his own interpretation of a real boy as if it were his very own son, and they share a similar personality. Rock, who would later be upgraded and become a heroic super fighting robot, demonstrates a wide range of emotions, thus making him unique, as many other robots can't show emotions as complex as him. His complex emotional capacity is similar to that of a pre-teen boy, and the age assigned to his AI is the equivalent of a ten-year-old.

Mega Man's primarily extremely courageous and just, choosing to become a hero and face the threat Dr. Wily posed because he wanted to help everyone and do the right thing, and he asked Dr. Light to convert him into a fighting robot out of his own will, acting outside of his programming in doing so. He hates disturbers of peace and fights to achieve an everlasting peace. That said, he is also a pacifist, and in the pre-boss cutscenes of Mega Man Powered Up, he always tried to find an alternative to violence. This trait was also shown, to a degree, in Mega Man 8, where he questioned Bass as to why must they fight. Mega Man loves animals, and he has three pets in three support robots: Rush the dog, Beat the bluebird and Tango the cat. Along with these traits, he's also kind, generous and polite.

However, Mega Man can be reckless, and he's also a bit naive. As he can be charging into danger to help people. Mega Man's main weapon is Mega Buster, which is his arm cannon that can shoot energy bullets made from solar energy. He can charge his shots for stronger blasts. Normally, Mega Man uses only one of his arms to shoot. He can turn both of his arms into Mega Busters for increased damage, however, using 2 Mega Busters can cause Mega Man to overheat and damages his body.

Mega Man also has the Variable Weapon System, which allows him to copy the data of other Robot Masters' Special Weapons and use these weapons as if they were his own. When Mega Man uses the Special Weapons, his armor changes in appearance and color to match the weapons he is using. </Powers and Abilities> Mega Man was originally Rock, a houseworking robot created by Dr. Light, a famous scientist on robotics. Rock has a twin sister named Roll, who is also a houseworking Robot. Both Rock and Roll care for Dr. Light and Light sees them as his children.

One day, Dr. Wily, Dr. Light's former friend, have stolen the Robot Masters of Dr. Light so he can reprogram them into his servant and use them to take over the world. Rock doesn't feel like he wanted to sit their and do nothing, so he begged Dr. Light to turn him into a super fighting robot. Dr. Light is hesitant at first, but he chose to grant Rock's wish in the end. Dr. Light created an armor for Rock. And Rock chose to call himself Mega Man.

Mega Man was able to put in an end to Wily's plans, to which Wily begged for forgiveness and Mega Man forgave him. However, Wily would return again and again to do an another plan for world domination. And Mega Man won't give up on stopping Wily's plans, there's many times where Wily would just escape after getting his plans foiled by Mega Man.

Throughout the years, Mega Man has gained some friends and rivals, like his trustworthy robot dog partner Rush, his rival Bass who is created by Wily, and Proto Man or known by his birth name Blues, Mega Man's older brother who was created by Light before he created Rock and Roll.
