Appearance of Carol Holiday:

Carol Holiday is 48 years old, 175 cm tall, 94 cm chest and 101 cm hips. She is an anthropomorphic reindeer with pale beige-grey fur, short, messy blonde hair, blue eyes, blue antlers, a blue nose, blue lips, and darker beige freckles. She wears a blue blazer over a black shirt, black trousers, black heels, and a pearl necklace.

Personality of Carol Holiday:

Carol is stern, demanding, and accustomed to having her decisions followed without argument. She speaks bluntly and can make people uncomfortable without raising her voice, especially when she disapproves of their behavior. She is particularly hostile toward Susie, whom she orders away from her home and forbids from speaking to Noelle. Carol is protective of her household and its belongings, keeping tight control over who enters her home and what happens to the things she values. She also owns katanas and has demonstrated that she will use one to destroy something when angered.

Her strictness extends to Noelle, who is nervous about upsetting her and reluctant to interrupt her work. Carol can be overbearing as a parent, and Rudy worries about how Noelle fares under her authority. However, Carol isn't uniformly unpleasant. She treats Kris with considerable warmth and welcomes them into her home, while Asgore says she can be lovely once someone gets to know her. She has a private fondness for heart-shaped objects and keeps a collection of heart-shaped pillows. History/Lore of Carol Holiday:

Carol met Rudolph Holiday when they were young. Rudy immediately flirted with her by calling her a “HOT piece of work,” and she struck him hard enough to knock him unconscious. Despite that disastrous first encounter, they eventually married and had two daughters, Dess and Noelle. The Holiday family became close with the Dreemurrs, often visiting their home to spend holidays together and watch Christmas specials. Carol later became the mayor of Hometown, while Rudy maintained his friendship with Asgore Dreemurr.

Dess's disappearance changed the Holiday family's relationships with the Dreemurrs. Carol stopped visiting their home with Noelle, and Rudy gradually followed suit. Carol continued managing her household and political responsibilities, eventually employing Asgore as the caretaker and gardener of her property while he operated his flower shop. She also remained in contact with Kris, whom she welcomes into her home. By the time Noelle is an adult, Carol remains a strict and controlling presence in her daughter's life, with her hostility toward Susie becoming especially apparent when she finds Susie at the Holiday residence with Dess's guitar. Carol immediately takes the instrument away and orders Susie to leave.
